  1. RIP Paul. My cat, my uncle's dog, and slipknot's bassist in the span of three days...dang.
  2. dang unicorn slot machines took all my money. it's been way too long since i've had a lollipop.
  3. When the band (I think it was Mike) stated that they wanted to release music faster, they didn't explicitly say they wanted to release an album faster. In the stretch between Minutes to Midnight's release and now they have released We Made It, Across the Line, Blackbirds, Not Alone, New Divide, two remixes, and a live album. That's quite a bit of new music even if it isn't a new album.
  4. nine inch nails' albums "ghosts" and "the slip" were both released right after they were finished. "the slip" even got through mixing in 24 hours
  5. i think (not sure) there are DSP's of the shows they played live with linkin park.
  6. if i wasn't already crying because my cat's being put down soon, you would've just made me cry. R.I.P. dio
  7. i think it'd be fun to play the drums on this...maybe
  8. i'll likely give this a listen later today. it combines my two favorite bands!
  9. i've got a friend who's last name is mohammad. just saying and i live in the U.S. edit: so there's a chance of unheard lp then...however unlikely
  10. i know that there is. i'm just saying that i (and probably most people here) don't consider it a part of the album because it's not on all versions of the album. i'm not trying to start an argument. i'm just pointing out that it is a MTM outtake and not an actual A-side album track. you asked why i considered it an outtake and i told you why.
  11. but the standard edition (the one with the track listing as intended) ends with TLTGYA even the deluxe edition with the book and dvd ends on TLTGYA that's the end of the album and i literally have THE ALBUM as well
  12. i don't think there's an 8-bit blackbirds, but i could be wrong since i don't own the game but the other 8 songs are in the game in 8-bit format. that list is probably accurate as to which 8-bit songs are available. edit: it doesn't say blackbirds is 8-bit...so yeah, i guess that is all the "new" tracks available in the game
  13. since when do bands have to give constant studio updates of their new album?
  14. No Roads Left wasn't on the album. it was a bonus track. the album ended with The Little Things Give You Away
  15. forgotten figure.09 what astat said about forgotten and figure.09 sums it up perfectly in between not alone i don't get why everybody hates these 2.
  16. where is everybody by nine inch nails would work really well with linkin park. mike can rap the verses and chester can do the choruses. it'd be cool. enjoy the silence (mike's remix) would be cool to cover as well. i'd like to hear chester singing that song. they should also bring back my own summer by the deftones. that was one sick cover. or, though i don't know if this counts as a cover, they should play fuse by xero
  17. i forgot how different chester used to look lol
  18. but crawling is the emo version of crawling and i totally agree with the BB and POA comparison that was actually one of the first things i thought when i heard the song
  19. 1. One Step Closer 2. In Between 3. Figure.09
  20. NRL isn't the final track on the album though it's a bonus track
  21. i can relate to crawling because i'm whiny and annoying ...just kidding lol i'll think of a serious answer later...i'm too tired to right now
  22. Blackbirds is at the least an evolution of something written during Minutes to Midnight (which is the same as with Not Alone). Blackbirds is the 6th string song.
  23. is this all we know of coming out of the linkin park camp until the new album, or are there some collaborations in the near future?
  24. 1. Across the Line : although it does seem unfinished, it still is a great song...and i'm listening to it right now 2. Not Alone : loved this song as well...don't see why everyone hates it. i love the ending especially with the keyboard riff and the scratching. it reminds me of the adore album by the smashing pumpkins, but not in a rip-offey sort of way. 3. No Roads Left : love me some mike singing. great voice. 4. Lockjaw : great instrumental. i love mike (in a totally non-gay way) 5. New Divide : like has been stated - it's what i've done part 2. this isn't a bad thing by any means, but it does make it seem a little less-than-spectacular 6. Blackbirds : the intro is unnecessary but beyond that, i like this song a lot, but not as much as the other 5
  25. i'd like to see blackbirds intro over POA so we can actually hear what mike's saying lol
