  1. where is everybody by nine inch nails would work really well with linkin park. mike can rap the verses and chester can do the choruses. it'd be cool. enjoy the silence (mike's remix) would be cool to cover as well. i'd like to hear chester singing that song. they should also bring back my own summer by the deftones. that was one sick cover. or, though i don't know if this counts as a cover, they should play fuse by xero
  2. i forgot how different chester used to look lol
  3. but crawling is the emo version of crawling and i totally agree with the BB and POA comparison that was actually one of the first things i thought when i heard the song
  4. 1. One Step Closer 2. In Between 3. Figure.09
  5. NRL isn't the final track on the album though it's a bonus track
  6. i can relate to crawling because i'm whiny and annoying ...just kidding lol i'll think of a serious answer later...i'm too tired to right now
  7. Blackbirds is at the least an evolution of something written during Minutes to Midnight (which is the same as with Not Alone). Blackbirds is the 6th string song.
  8. is this all we know of coming out of the linkin park camp until the new album, or are there some collaborations in the near future?
  9. 1. Across the Line : although it does seem unfinished, it still is a great song...and i'm listening to it right now 2. Not Alone : loved this song as well...don't see why everyone hates it. i love the ending especially with the keyboard riff and the scratching. it reminds me of the adore album by the smashing pumpkins, but not in a rip-offey sort of way. 3. No Roads Left : love me some mike singing. great voice. 4. Lockjaw : great instrumental. i love mike (in a totally non-gay way) 5. New Divide : like has been stated - it's what i've done part 2. this isn't a bad thing by any means, but it does make it seem a little less-than-spectacular 6. Blackbirds : the intro is unnecessary but beyond that, i like this song a lot, but not as much as the other 5
  10. i'd like to see blackbirds intro over POA so we can actually hear what mike's saying lol
  11. I thought it would be cool to see how people would rearrange the track list of Minutes to Midnight to include the outtakes/b-sides from the album. No Roads Left and Across the Line are undoubtedly outtakes from MTM while the argument can be made to include QWERTY and Announcement Service Public since they were recorded during the early portion of what would become the MTM recording sessions as well as Blackbirds and Not Alone since they are reworkings of demos that were recorded originally during Minutes to Midnight and completed for other projects (Download to Donate and 8 Bit Rebellion respectively). All in all there are six outtakes that have been released: Announcement Service Public QWERTY No Roads Left Across the Line Not Alone Blackbirds So my question is, where would you put them? You can rearrange the entire tracklist if you feel that would be necessary to make it work. It's up to you!! My tracklist: 1. Wake 2. QWERTY 3. Leave Out All the Rest 4. Blackbirds 5. No Roads Left 6. Announcement Service Public 7. Given Up 8. Valentine's Day 9. Not Alone 10. Bleed It Out 11. Shadow of the Day 12. What I've Done 13. Hands Held High 14. In Between 15. In Pieces 16. Across the Line 17. No More Sorrow 18. The Little Things Give You Away
  12. if somebody could rip the audio, that'd be cool
  13. Bleed it Out and Given Up censor the tracks Shadow of the Day removes the transition into What I've Done (as What I've Done's radio edit does with the transition from Shadow of the Day)
  14. oh okay i see it now thanks for pointing that out. i was listening to the wrong part for mike.
  15. i like my suffering it got me very excited to hear the rest of the album and then i was let down by most of it
  16. i wish they would've imploded the new stadium instead lol terrible place for football...the giant screen is too low and keeps getting hit by punts!
  17. mike could, by himself, make music just as good or better than linkin park case in point -> fort minor (that's a just as good, not a better)
  18. it's a derogatory term for a cop meaning that his mom may have assumed it was bad-mouthing the police or something idk...just grasping at straws here
  19. oh come on, it was april fools day
  20. this thread is for favorite music video all those songs you listed have no video
  21. forgotten's got some of the best verses on a linkin park album though although i would agree that by myself is pretty weak
  22. i love the lyrics of the in the end demo
  23. I love linkin park, but if there is one thing i've never cared for from them, it's their music videos the only video of theirs that i like is what i've done
