Can't understand it, "Until It Breaks" has such a great rapping. But the rest of the song is near to bullshit!
-
Nice to see someone who isn't satisfied with everything!
-
Until the crazy "Victimized" its a really good album, but all songs following are just weak and boring. Only Powerless is good, and a very good choice for a closer imo because of an epic ending. "Lost In The Echo", "In My Remains" and "I'll Be Gone" are my favourites so far.

Finally we can listen to Living Things!
-
That was for DogFan_LP

As you can see, Meteroa has the shortest length so far

uuuhmmm....maybe the best shouting sequence of Chester EVER. But that beat..."it sucks" would be too friendly I guess.

This whole set is what I've waited for since the ATS touring cycle started. This is a set for a real rock concert again, not for a family event where moms raisin' their lighters to a bunch of ballads and senseless intros together with their kiddies. I know, now are coming the ATS lovers again: "Nu-metal is for retarded college kids, grow up, ATS is art...blabla". I don't care about people who want to change WTCFM for Runaway...I mean, it was the first performance since FIVE years! I really hope LP sticks to this set for the European Tour, they will kick ass at their festival apperances again! Some Proshots of the HT songs would be nice before we finally have to say goodbye to Runaway, etc when the US tour starts. -

I have to say that I like the "new" set much better than the old. Only drop Numb for BTH,BTH sounds a way better, imo. And it sucks a bit that The Requiem is dropped but all in all i love this set! BIO with the APFMH bridge and OSC are badass show closer. -
Same here.

After what I've read last night over here like "Only instrumetals?? SHIT!", "Worst LPU ever!" and "This CD sucks!" ..I was like: "Oh no please don't let it be like that". Right now I am listening to this CD and besides the WID remix, PTB and the POA demo, this CD is fucking awesome! I don't care at all about lyrics if there's anything good and new of LP. And for everyone who bitches at LP for putting the WID-remix on the CD... they are not perfect and they never will be. Nice work Linkin Park, hands down.

Good thought! But to be honestly,I want to listen to this DSP immediately too

Worst year of LP? (according to their shows)
yannickwilliam replied to tschenneck's topic in Live Talk
He complains about everything what happens now since he is a fan of the HT/Meteora era as much as I am. He is just very dissappointed with LP since they promised more for old school fans. At the moment there's not much space here in the forum to swarm about the band in 2004 since everyone is talking about ATS being awesome which I can also understand. And as DecanoLP said: A real fan criticizes his favourite band a lot. And now, back to topic. -

I would rather be a guy who is saying his opinion about a band which he really loves and want to tell it other fans what he is not ok with than call a person you don't know an "ass" ! -

I hope everybody understood now! I got the same opinion, but I'm fucking not interested to discuss this shit over and over again here! -
First sentence is true, but on the DBS album the heavier songs are the best songs, imo. Second sentence isn't true. Not everyone
-
After I resigned that this album is definetly NOT rockin', I took some time to listen to it again. With the background knowledge that this an REALLY experimental album and not a LP-typical album, there are some good songs on it. WTCFM and W&K are awesome Fort Minor songs feat. Chester,Fallout and The Catalyst fit together very well too. Also The Requiem/Radiance are awesome songs, but the opening song is dissapoiting as hell. It has to be a song like Don't Stay or Given Up which really rocks, not a radio-mainstream-ballad like this. (I mean BITS) But I still do not like the slow songs like Robot Boy or Iridescent and I still say that this is the worst LP album in my opinion.. And a rapping Chester on Blackout is also unnecessary. A few months ago I said that I don't want a MTM part 2,but now I would prefer it. This is my opinion and I stand by it that I like Nu-Metal/Rock,Alternative or however you want to name the genre in the HT/Meteora-times more than ATS. I know this opinion comes a bit late, but wasn't able to listen to this album earlier in the way I did the last days. Peace!

Which songs do you mean? Beside Wretches and Kings..

I agree with sckofelng..every single word he's saying describes what I feel and think. Damn, open your ears! Do you seriously think that this stuff rocks?

30 Second Snippets of "A Thousand Suns" Out Now!
yannickwilliam replied to Teagan's topic in Newswire
I can't see there "the epicness of Across The Line".. ATL is epic,no doubt! But I mean songs like: Burning in the Skies,Robot Boy,Iridescent and so on. Sorry that I judged so hard, but I don't like such music. I mean..in the past, there were 2-3 slow songs, now there are 2-3 harder songs.. I know that I can't make the band make the music I want and I have to accept their new style, but I definatly won't support it. -

Same here! I'm totally disappointed..this is mainstream-ballad-shit! This album isn't worth to buy, for 2 or 3 listenable tracks.
