  1. I didn't notice it when I listened, but I love the little intricacies that 90% of the fans don't know/care about. LPL 4 LIFE
  2. "Brand New" is kind of bastardized, since they just switched around the order of the songs and added one that's been on both live DVD's AND played regularly since '03. Love the encore order, though, and hope they step up the setlist variety for the US tour
  3. thanks guys! Manchester sounds badass so far
  4. Have they played a live version of BTH yet?
  5. I want whatever setlist includes the most ATS songs. Or better yet, the full album performed live, since it's the ATS world tour. Thanks, LP.
  6. I want to see it, but they aren't really a "trader" if they won't release something. it's more like hoarding than trading. release it, sell it, trade it, just get it out there somehow please
  7. Likewise. I'm flying solo for Boston, and found someone on 311's forum who is doing the same thing. I feel like a musical orphan :-p
  8. I wonder if LP will ever actually deliver on the whole "it's a visual experience!" bullshit they've been babbling about for months. Just noticed it reared it's ugly head in a Blabbermouth quote from Chaz. From every bootleg or proshot I've seen this year, nothing looks dramtically different or impressive about LP's live show. I hope they step their game up in the form of lasers, pyro, or SOMETHING. LP have the resources to do something great on an arena tour, and for a $82 "general admission" ticket, I'm setting my hopes high for this North American "welcome home" run of gigs.
  9. Got my ticket for Boston! I've only seen the Chili Peppers at the Garden and it was amazing, plus easily accessibly with the train station and all. Like Hahninator said, PR:08 was a better bargain as far as ticket prices go, with a more notable line-up, but whatever. I want to see ATS songs live and hate amphitheaters, so count me in for the GAHDEN. Anyone know how LPU access works if you did the "Connect with Facebook" thing to sign up? It won't let me in.
  10. I'm in! Wanted to sign up for annual LPUX for a shot at Meet & Greet, but considering it's more like a $50 raffle ticket, I'll stick with my GA ticket, DSP, & month of LPU for $91.40 :-D
  11. 1. The Requiem 2. New Divide 3. Wretches & Kings 4. Given Up 5. Nobody's Listening 6. Faint 7. When they Come For Me 8. Blackbirds 9. In Pieces 10. The Radiance (live version) 11. Burning in the Skies 12. Pushing Me Away ("Reanimation" version) 13. Figure.09 14. Jornada del Muerto 15. Waiting for the End 16. Crawling (with "Reanimation" intro & "Hands Held High" verse) 17. In the End 18. One Step Closer ("Reanimation" version) 19. Bleed It Out (with "A Place For My Head" bridge) ENCORE 21. With You 22. High Voltage (remix) 23. In Between 24. Fallout 25. The Catalyst
  12. You can usually buy at least 2 tickets, and most likely can get more than that with just one LPU membership. In the past, LPU has also eliminated some of the service fees that you would usually get charged with if you bought tickets through LiveNation or TicketMaster, too. Not sure if they're doing that this time?
  13. Cool video, and the Summit sounded GREAT, but I wonder how much of that will actually happen once the band is playing 3 or 4 shows a week. They have to rehearse, have families, need to do press interviews etc, so interested to see how much of this "reanimated" LPU is for real
  14. Tough to round up people for a show when there's no date or location until the shows are on sale, so hopefully the dates are released a LITTLE bit before. I'm thinking LP will tour with someone on their iTunes celebrity playlist, but would like to see the Dirty Heads as the opening band. Chester is a fan, and although a lot of their music leans towards reggae-rock, they mix enough genres together to be "LP Lite" (younger and no screams)
  15. I wish they would leave the mistakes as is, but something's better than nothing. Can't wait for more DSPs!
  16. So now that we've gone through the "live" years and "instrumental" era, maybe LPU11 will be mostly a capellas? I'm down
  17. Sounds like a great time if you were there and just another show if you get the DSP's and have seen FTI on both (!) of their live DVDs. They must be saving the good stuff for the US tour as pe usual :-)
  18. After all the interludes on ATS I was hoping for 10 "new" (old) tracks with Chaz/MS all over it. Better than nothing although the vocals are 90% of the reason why I love LP. No wonder Mike promoted it as the best LPU CD ever; it was pretty much a vocal vacation for him ;-)
  19. Not a fan of instrumentals, but cool that there's a rap track! Thanks for the updates
  20. Great news! Can't wait for the "Link please?" bannage to begin any second now! Surprised that they put "Pretend to Be" on there, since I thought it was exclusive to the LPUX Download. May as well have thrown "Blackbird" on there if that's the case. I think LP and the hardcore fans have a different definition of "surprise", too. I'm hoping "No Roads Left" but expecting a 15 minute piano version of BTH ;-)
  21. had no fucking idea that the "world stage" / ema show would be out like, NOW. this makes me love LPL more now
  22. Thanks for the clip! Still kicking myself almost a decade later that I didn't check out the Family Values Tour that year. STP were my favorite band as a kid, then passed that torch to LP. I'd kill to see Chester perform with Scott, especially on "Wonderful." Hopefully they'll somehow tour again in the future.
  23. If the live performance is going to be edited, it's the same as replacing the guns with walkie-talkies in "ET", George Lucas fucking with "Star Wars", and so on. LP are once again catering to the casual fan that will buy the show they went to, rather than leaving in "mistakes" and making each show more of a unique collector's item.
  24. 100% with you on this my friend! I'd love to see ATS played start to finish, then come back and play a 45 minute set of singles, staples, etc. If LP are going to play the same old songs everyone has seen and heard a million times in person and on DSPs, they should change it up. It would be cool to see the "Reanimation" version of some songs or to get another medley like Nobody's Listening/It's Goin Down/Step Up.
  25. LPU are marketing geniuses. Double the price while eliminating the package, and most will still rush to sign up. I hope they really come through on "exclusives" to justify the price tag, but even if they don't, it's not like every other big band isn't charging at least $30 just to buy a jacked up concert ticket. The state of the industry kinda sorta sucks.
