Doesn't anyone read the main page anymore? I feel for the mods, but LOL at the "you will be banned" in giant font rage. I haven't read through all 3 million posts asking for PM's, but if you beat the game does it unlock an MP3? If not, pretty lame, but hopefully there will be some instructions floating around here on how to get it from iWhatever to PC.

So... since the only versions floating around right now are "crappy quality", that leads me to believe you don't unlock an MP3 of the song when you beat the game? I was planning on purchasing 8BR, but not if I can only listen to "Blackbirds" within the app. I'm sure that LP will eventually double dip and put it for sale, like they did with the Haiti stuff on iTunes and the Road to Revolution bluray.

Just listened to Blackbird on YouTube and think Mike and Chester killed it. Mike, in a great way, and Chaz in a "I'm going to edit out his parts" bad way. I loved songs like "My December" because it was unique at the time. But after "Little Things", "Not Alone", and the piano overkill of the live shows, The mellow side of LP bores me to tears. Botom line: Chester Bennington needs a new popper stopper.

LP should do 21+ USA-only chats, and International all-ages chats. Or best: an LPlive only chat! It would present a great opportunity to avoid stupid questions and "come to my country" spamming. Kidding. Kind of. Cool that Mike is becoming more active with the fan interaction, though I don't see it lasting too long. After 10 minutes he just gets flooded with 95% stupidity.

Reanimation-style remixes, new songs, b-sides or acoustic versions. Any of these would probably make me pretty happy. LPU 9 did a good job of raising expectations, so I assume we'll get a live CD of all the singles from the Summer 2011 tour :-p

It's just weird to me that LP never did anything with the concert/bonus footage that was in theaters. It wasn't their best show ever, and the extra studio stuff wasn't mind blowing, but it definitely is something even a casual LP fan could enjoy. They sell sneakers, video games, etc, but pretend the concert/bonus footage doesn't exist. Strange.

Chaz collaborated with STP on "Wonderful" and LP toured with them too. Has just as much to do with Linkin Park as Julian-K does. Nice to see JK post a good update. The watered down "nothing happens" LPTV vids have numbed my brain for a couple years now.

Maybe they just don't have anything to update us on. What do you expect? Monthly video blog saying, "Yep, still writing. Still recording." At least the updates are coming from the studio, and we can assume (?) they're actually working on this thing.

Simma down, JK fanboys. Make all the excuses you want, but random JK b-sides have nothing to do with Linkin Park. And you can't compare it to DBS or FM, because Linkin Park members are actually IN those bands. JK are 2nd cousins to LP, at best. If Chaz produces a record, or plays a live show, that's cool. But just because the admin have a hard on for Ryan Shuck doesn't mean we need to know every time he takes a shit. If you're going to suck the teet of JK based on their supposed affilitation, be fair about it, and cover all of the other irrelevant news from LP's past. Mike remixed tracks for Depeche Mode and Metric, but I don't see any info about either of those bands here. There's not 40 updates a week about Holly Brook or Camp Freddy, either. It's cool that you guys are passionate about JK, but dont bait-and-switch LP fans who come here for LP news. Make a seperate forum, or a seperate site. Please and thanks. I'm sure you'll understand all of my points, and ban me as a result lol .

Shouldn't this be on JKlive.net? I'm sick of reading about these bums. Their association with Linkin Park is like when your Dad's best friend comes over and you call him "Uncle." At least start a sub-page or something.

The setlist thing is kind of a drag, but I consider them to be only a part of the whole that is LP Live. Setlist.fm doesn't exactly deliver breaking news or exclusives like "She Couldn't" or "QWERTY proshot", so hopefully it doesn't give you guys too big of a headache. Just a side effect of being the best LP site out there. As for the DSP's...I definitely preferred it when they were freely passed around the forums here, but it makes sense that LP (or whomever) want to be paid a little. LP are a big enough band that I think it won't be too hard to track DSP's down on Demonoid or somewhere around here hopefully. And the fan club is, for better or worse, better than most others. I've been charged way more just for pre-sale ticket access and nothing else. The fan club model as a whole needs to be overhauled before we can really have a legit gripe with what we're getting for the $$$. At least they haven't given us one of those shitty "exclusive Linkin Park lanyard laminate" yet lol

What a complete shock! LP release a "teaser" of things to come, hardcore fans get their hopes up, and then dissapointment. LP should be more straightforward and upfront, instead of Adam having to be the bad news bear of the board. So much for LPU tour ever coming to my hard drive.

Can someone remind me of what DSP's will be made available? I really only care to know if they'll be releasing stuff from the LPU or Meteora US tours...

How could it NOT be a b-side? LP are all about exposure, and I doubt they would release brand new, anxiously awaited material via a medium that only a fraction of people (iPhone/iPod touch owners) use. Unless, of course, the game is playable on LP.com, too.

After looking at the picture of Chaz recording vocals, I'm pretty sure whatever he was singing was decidedly gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

311 - "India Ink" = Best Song on the album. Just bought it along with DBS

LP shows are so generic you really only need a couple DSP's from each tour. Or when they do something special, like a rare song over "POA" or if it's a show you went to. My only complaint is that you can't purchase any show you want, but I assume that will change in the future. LP are in the game to make $$$ and that'll simplify the process.

I like Hahninator's reasons, and would just add "No US tour" to the list. It seems like they just threw 20 darts at a world map and went to those places in random order. I want a damn club tour, FM style. It's almost as if they want DBS to fail quickly so LP can resume "as is." That's what happened with Scott Weiland & STP. He put out a double album a year ago, did a tiny tour, and then cancelled STP dates so they could get the big "we're going back to the studio! new album soon!" press release.

QWERTY pro-shot & "She Couldn't" pretty much lock in LPlive as the best Linkin Park site ever. Thanks for everything you guys do. Sometimes I shake my head at how enthusiastic everyone is for anything/everything LP, but you guys are awesome. Anxious to hear "Morning After", too, but doubt I'll like it. I hate the "acoustic" version of "Let Down", and assume it'll be in the same style. Why can't they just do a straight-up acoustic song with one guitar and a microphone? Damnitt. It's fun to care enough to be picky

311 & Muse back to back sounds pretty awesome to me. Cool that Chaz and Hot Topic By Sunrise will get to rock some eyeliner again on night one though. KROQ is pretty cool for hosting the webcast, though I'm still pissed they didn't show TOOL last time.
