  1. "Robot Boy" reeks of interlude. It's kind of like the ugly half-brother of "Jornada Del Muerto". I love the live version of "The Messenger", but Chaz' voice seems too strained and hurts my ears on the album version, too. Good voting, LPL
  2. Now we're onto something! The past is old news. LP need to be playing new stuff, b-sides, and demos they're working on before the show. Anyways, back to the reality of loving a mainstream band
  3. Great, insightful review, "Mike fangirl" or not. I'd like to see more (or all!) of "A Thousand Suns" played live, too, but will take what I can get. Summit sounded great
  4. To get both in Boston would be insane. I'm with you on this!
  5. What the hell is up with that encore? If I detect even the slightest hint of this setlist in Boston, I'll be leaving after "Bleed It Out". (which, BTW, is an excellent closer if it has the extras like APFMH included) Thanks for all the show notes Astat. Jealous you got to see/hear BITS!
  6. Awesome news. Fuse will censor the audio, but the DSP and some quick editing will fix that. Hopefully we'll get alot of ATS stuff and not just the normal "greatest hits" routine
  7. Pretty genius marketing by LP. They know I want to see "Burning In The Skies", so of course they won't play it regularly till the NEXT tour. I wonder if there is an option to just auto-transfer my tax return into LP's bank account? Seriously though, swapping around the order of the songs does nothing for me. 3 completely different setlists (you know, with DIFFERENT songs?) is the impossible dream of the hardcore LP fan.
  8. Surprised they didn't do a better job cross-fading the tracks, being the trigger-happy editors LP are. "New Divide" fades to silence then "Waiting For the End" fades back in. Just weird for an official LP release. Wish the release had a different conclusion than "What I've Done", too. "Bleed It Out" was perfect on the satellite rip!
  9. I know Brad's sick, Equipment doesn't work, it's hot, Mike's hair was in his eyes, yadda yadda, but that setlist is old news and blows. I know it'll get better but ouch for a first show. Soundcheck sounded cool
  10. They need to collaborate with a big name like Kanye or Lil Wayne, not a has been like Busta or been-there like Jay. Ultimately I'd like "Reanimation" 2.
  11. I don't see LP getting the same treatment McCartney & U2 got, ie, performing any more than the two normal songs. I'd assume "Waiting For The End" is a lock, but unsure they'll play "Burning in the Skies" on TV if it's still as demo-y as the DSP's have been.
  12. No More Sorrow, Somewhere I Belong, Robot Boy Honorable mention goes to the part of "Little Things" where Chester just goes "woaaaaaaaahhhhh" for 14 minutes
  13. My fingers are crossed for it to at least make most of the US Tour setlists. I'll keep buying overpriced tickets and sitting through singles till it happens, damnitt
  14. Chester has a bad track record of collaborations not coming to fruition. Cool that we got the DJ Lethal track, but whatever happened to him covering "Head Like a Hole" with Korn?
  15. I've listened to Melbourne a few times and LOVE hearing BITS & Blackout live, but definitely hope they fix the little things, like Mike's vocal effect on the first verse of BITS & Chester's forgotten lyrics in Blackout. Love the vocal effects Chaz uses on "Blackout". I hope both stick around for the US tour, too. I'll be pretty depressed if I have to sit through "Wisdom, Justice & Love" instead of "Blackout."
  16. Picking a favorite Beatles song is like picking a favorite child. Impossible for me, and I'm not even one of their hardcore fans. I'd rather pick a favorite song by each band member, ie, "Something" is my fav George track, "Ballad of John & Yoko" is my fav John song, etc. Mike's choice is hard to argue with. Excellent song!
  17. I don't see why LP need Warner, or any major label, at all at this point in their career. Time to go independent.
  18. Thanks Narc! Great quality on the ATS debuts!
  19. This x10000000000 Thanks for the killer "Blackout" video, Narc! Great quality! Hoping you'll upload "BITS" soon too
  20. If the live tracks are mixed differently than the satellite (?) rip, cool
  21. Love the gray/white/light shirt, just not sure about proclaiming "THERE IS NOTHING WITHOUT LP". Still better than that "funny" year of LPU I've blocked out of my brain permanently though. Hope to see some of these shirts in Boston!
  22. I'd be surprised if "Wretches & Kings" or even "When They Come For Me" didn't make the cut as singles, considering they have the nu-metal rap 'n' rock vibe, albeit in a different way. For all the talk of "Iridescent" being a single, the first half is a snorefest and I don't see it holding the attention of the ADD generation of pop listeners.
  23. I rate this tour as a sucess if only for the live debut of "Burning in the Skies" and "Black Out." I'm also one of the few (?) who loved BITS live. Not as "epic" as the album version but raw and different enough to be a great pay-off to a couple months of teasing it in the "Bleed it Out" bridge. Can't wait for the DSP's and of course the US tour!
  24. Sorry to break the streak of "can I have the Mp3!?", but interesting timing on the chat, since it's exactly a month after LPUX "launched" for the pre-sale. In other words, if you signed up to buy tickets, your membership expired the day before Mike's chat. Killer marketing as usual by LP :-p
