FearOfTheDuck Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 The LP Facebook page says that this will be the band’s only North American show in 2013 (aside from the Grammys, one would assume). That's depressing for US fans. Quote

Coizu Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 What the fuck is wrong with them? 20 US dates for a touring cycle? I wouldn't be suprised if there won't be a europe tour for living things anymore... Quote
Geki Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Haha wow. One tour for the US? Their home country? I don't know about LP anymore... Quote
1996_LP Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 well they better come to the UK then! otherwise its 2005-2006 all over again! Quote
FORTsunrise Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 I'm really not liking the minimal touring the band have done lately with both this album and ATS. Granted, it most likely frees the band up to release more albums, but considering how much touring they did for the past albums, this is very underwhelming. You got to think if this is a Warner thing to get band back in the studio because Living Things isn't selling as well as past albums or if this is LP's choice or if in fact they've just grown a disliking for touring. Numbrocker Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Anyone been to this venue before? Is it all seats and no pit? Quote

Precisely, they've been saying since 2010 that they started hating touring for so long after touring til death during their first album cycles. Watch this interview, for example: I think it's great that they want to keep themselves busy creatively. One tour per continent plus an album every 18 months or so is completely fine with me. Quote
[AndOne] Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Anyone been to this venue before? Is it all seats and no pit?If it's the PH Live and from the pics i've seen it seems to be all seats. capacity 7k. Quote
marzo23 Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 yeah... for MTM the USA got 3 tour legs and than only 1 for ATS and 1 for LT.... really hard for you... but we will get another one here in europe they ant to earn money... and money is in germany to get LOL Quote
[AndOne] Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 If I recall right the Honda Civic Tour was ranked the top grossing tour of 2012. All shows were sold out and a total of a quarter million people in attendance. That was probably their most successful tour in years. Just saying. Quote
Jgrosk Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 (edited) Am I the only one here happy about short tour cycles. Edited December 10, 2012 by jare0674 Quote
