RogueSoul Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 It was only recently revealed that 'One More Light' will be released as a single on October 2nd and 3rd, but the band has decided to launch the music video today! The brand new video is directed by Joe Hahn and Mark Fiore, and is an emotional tribute to Chester. 'One More Light' made it to the airwaves in the days following Chester's passing and managed to do remarkably well on the charts, so this nice gesture to him works on all ends. Linkin Park seems to be gearing up for their triumphant comeback, and we'll keep you updated on everything. Follow us on Twitter and Facebook for updates. Quote
nikusha Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 i won't be able to listen to this or watch it without tears in my eyes ever again. Quote
Geki Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Love all the old-school shots from LPTV, etc. in the video. Pretty cool. I'm glad they added that to the video instead of just a live performance of OML with the studio version playing. Shows thought went into it, and to remember Chester for all the years they have known him. Quote
sian18 Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 That was hard to watch all the old vids in it I remember all the lptv i grew up with it was like watching my childhood friend Quote

sublimeric Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 I didn't want this to end, from the second it started. I hope that by releasing this video, and the song as a single, it will reach people that it may have missed, and it can help them. RIP Chester. Quote
RickLPL Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Damn this was the hardest and most emotional music video I've ever seen. Brought me to tears. It was great to hear Mike's voice again though (KROQ), I admire him for talking about this on the radio Quote
xxHybridXeroxx Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 just watched it... Cried my eyes out, and I thought I was fine... Quote
RogueSoul Posted September 18, 2017 Author Posted September 18, 2017 Just got home and watched it... I'm devastated. Already been sad about other things today, and seeing Chester just makes me realize that my mind just hasn't fully accepted he's gone. Incredibly video. Simple but so very, very effective. Rest in peace, my hero. Quote

Mesck547 Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Wow. It was definitely hard to watch, but it's a beautiful tribute. I'm glad they did it. Quote
Kilmer Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 (edited) I can't imagine how hard it was to make this video, choosing from the lptv episodes and so on. I cried a lot just watching it. It's really a nice touch when the camera zooms in Rob writing "sincerely, Linkin Park". Edited September 18, 2017 by Kilmer Quote
Justin Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 That bridge........ I saw the flashing images, and when I saw the WFTE video flashing past.... for some reason that's when it all hit me at once. Quote
JozM Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Haven't watched the video yet but I'm tearing up already just reading the comments here. Quote
