Until a few hours ago it redirected to ms.com (was like that since forever). DNS record for fortminor.com got updated about 3 hours so it seems like they are in the process of updating the webpage.

I just want to know what we can expect and when we can hear new stuff. But I guess this game will go on for a few more days (at least Monday). Can't wait anymore :-D

He could have created them to get the attention there and create some hype. Then just rename them or merge them together with his regular social media accounts

Wouldn't be surprised if he comes out and says he won't call it Fort Minor anymore and just go with Mike Shinoda or something like that. All the Fort Minor stuff was maybe just for gaining some attention again and for recognition.

Fort Minor is Mike Shinoda. If there was someone of SOB in a song they always got credited extra. At least that's how I remember it and how it is on Spotify right now. I somehow think Ryus tweet isn't serious.

That intro is even more boring than the GATS intro. Didn't thought that was possible. ALITS sounds pretty awesome live though. Didn't expect them to pull it off that good. Chester also seems to be on fire. Always nice to see.

I just want to throw in my opinion here: A dedicated mobile app makes no sense. Why? It's just a shitload of work for no benefit. There is nothing to gain from it. To come to your points: Easier to navigate: If you have problems with navigating the site it's either a personal preference or the site really has a bad navigation. I never had any troubles navigating on the mobile version though. If you are thinking about off canvas navigations or some other type of navigation stuff you mostly see in native apps: these can be done on websites as well, no need to develop a native app for it. Won't crash as much: Absolutely invalid point. First of all if the site is crashing it's probably a problem with the browser on your smartphone and not with the site itself. LPL doesn't use any fancy features that should blow up your smartphone. Also I've never encountered a problem myself with my old ass iPhone 4 which has problems on a lot of sites. Also developing a native app would probably lead to even more crashes for you since then you have two things you have to maintain: the website and the app, so you need more resources. Also the app has to be a self developed stuff which is most probably not as well engineered as the software LPL uses for the forums (IP.Board) which had years to mature and a company behind it that knows what they are doing. The only benefit from an app is something like a notification system for new posts on threads you are interested in, or when you get new messages. But as far as I know the same can be achieved by activating mail notifications. So yeah, a native mobile app is just a shitload of work with nothing to gain.

Even if it's true I wouldn't care. If I pay for something I expect it to run and don't accept excuses. Especially since there are free streaming services that do a way better job.

I am really into electronic music and I like the Aoki stuff (I love Neon Future 1) but this song is one of the weakest both artists put out in a while. Astats words are spot on. It seems like they had this small idea that they stretched into 4 minutes without any love for variation or details. That the song was in work for such a long time and they hype they made about this song makes it even worse. The song has absolutely no highlights, just 4 minutes of the same boringness all over again. The best part about the song is the last chorus with more Chester in it but it's not worth to go through all of the song for the last 30 seconds (and them again, still nothing breathtaking).

Without any opinion about the discussion: Being good at singing/playing an instrument doesn't make you a good songwriter. These are two completely different things.

They could make it much more interesting if they just alternate between two songs on some of the spots. I think the ones I listed below would be pretty realistic and make it much more entertaining to attend multiple shows. Before people start bitching about the song: It's a live recording/version. The actual studio version can be vastly different. It seems to be highly remixed for me so I'll wait until the studio version is out before I form my opinion about the song.

I think the twitter account is legit. I was kinda surprised that the name fortminor was still free so I was digging around a bit. Seems like the name was actually taken before.
