Huh? I don't see a lot of angry people around here. Most just state their displeasure about the setlist which is I guess a pretty major point of having a forum and discussion like this? I don't know why people expect that only positive things get posted in here. It's the same thing as with Heavy where every criticism was called hate and stuff like that.

Wow. I can understand if you don't like Snoop Dogg but calling him "one of the most overrated artists of all time" is just totally wrong. Snoop Dogg had massive influence when it comes to modern Hip Hop and I guess you wouldn't have a MGK in the first place if it wasn't for artists like Snoop Dogg.

Seems like I am in the minority but I don't like this setlist at all. Catalyst is not a good opener in my opinion, Wastelands and OSC are positioned pretty randomly, Battle Symphony sounds like a college cover band (might improve though), Numb and Heavy are not songs you should play in an encore. Highlights: Talking To Myself might be a decent song, Leave Out All The Rest seems to be pretty awesome.

Do we have any information on how safe the livestream is? I think there were some festivals before where they were scheduled for a broadcast even though it was unsure if they have the clearance until minutes before the show started.

I highly recommend NOT to use Hola. If you use Hola you automatically get an exit point for other users. That means that if you are living in the USA for example and someone wants to proxy their traffic over the USA, you might be the machine they will use to do that.

MMM Cookies was released after the shitshow that LPU 7 was. I think that was a major reason people were pissed.

The whole show was embarrassing and awful.

I already mentioned it in the shoutbox, but another problem I see with the two songs so far is, that they could be from any other artist. When I was listening to Battle Symphony for the first time, my first thought was: "This could also be a Katy Perry song". You don't have to change anything. Just replace Chesters voice. Done. I have the same feeling with Heavy. You can take any other pop artist, replace the vocal line and you have a song. While LP wrote quite a few "pop" songs in their career already, I can't imagine the same thing with any other song. The two songs sound so much like a product of the pop industry to appeal to the masses with no uniqueness and nothing outstanding.

Listened to the song two times and it is already boring. Once again it's not a bad song, but it's nothing special and absolutely average pop radio music.

I'm not an expert but I am pretty sure that's not how it works. Just because you don't earn money by using someone elses work doesn't mean you can use their work however you want to.

If they signed an NDA than they can sue them. If they just ask them to not talk about it I guess there is nothing they can do. Since they taped the song for somewhen later I would guess that it is the second single and it will air as soon as the song gets released.

Maybe my dreams of an unplugged show finally get real.
