Sex Art was founded in 1989 by: Jonathan Davis (Korn) Dennis Shinn (The Drug) Dave DeRoo (Adema) Ray Solis (Juice) Ryan Shuck (Orgy, Julien-K and Dead By Sunrise) With that said, it should be noted that Ryan Shuck helped write the original guitar riffs for the song Blind, which was reworked and made famous by Korn. I'm surprised that no one from LPL has contacted the band and attempt to confirm what the hell they are saying in the Esaul (1999) video. I was always 99% sure on the breakdown, Chester said "Soon, the aztec moon will heat my room - heal my wounds". It makes no sense, but I have no idea what else he could be saying there. It's one of the least important things but I remember it being a huge discussion back in the day and it was just...forgotten. (No pun intended)

Sounded pretty awesome man! Each one was epic. The only thing I didn't think matched was the Michael Jackson track. His vocals sounded out of tune with the track you used but yeah dude... I give it a 9.5/10

I find it quite amusing that you guys are worried about Chester's singing abilities farting out. This is why auto-tune is in existence. Astat even kindly pointed out a while back that it was clearly used in Crawling when Chester was still early in his game. Which brings up another point in your defense though, you can't really auto-tune a scream I don't think. Maybe I am wrong. The screams on Given Up sounded pretty brutal though, comparable to his early work. Live? Not so much. He's getting older guys. He's still a badass frontman, that's not gonna change anytime soon.

There have been cases where bands aren't allowed to even stream from a webcam during a festival show. For example, Korn streams their shows on Modlife often and "streaming live performances" are part of the premium membership. Let's just say there were a lot more shows "not allowed" than expected. I will never know the reasoning, but it's definitely there.

That's why I said they could have been pissed off about it ahead of time, while hoping they would have changed it when the song was released. I'm sure someone could have easily told them news such as: "Hey, I heard there is a fundraising with Miley Cyrus and other acts on it, using "Download to Donate" as their slogan." Edit: Just trying to find something more credible instead of just assuming they disliked the people involved. People might look at that as "Wow, kinda selfish if they truly care about helping others".

Who's the wise guy who claims I am not a 'true true LP fan' for not liking Minutes to Midnight? Edit: Here's my input on why they didn't join the "We are the World" campaign. One, you guys might be right that they didn't want to be involved with Miley Cyrus or Justin Bieber...but I think it's more to do with the fact that they use the exact same "Download to Donate" liner to help get their recognition. After all, Mike said himself "Music For Relief is not affiliated with the We Are The World 25 campaign. I hope they change their tag line to avoid confusion." It's plausible that they pissed them off ahead of time, and I can see why.

To back up my claims even further, I noticed Chester posted this on Twitter following the questions. "So late last night I asked you guys some questions about DBS. I got alot of great feedback and I want to thank all of you. Most of you guys like the record. Some don't. What's really interesting is that almost all of you said that it wasn't promoted very well. So. With that said. Help us do the job that our record company was supposed to do. Tell people about the record. If we know people are listening than we will tour, and make more music. I'm really proud of what we created in DBS" Mmm... I'll drop it now. You guys know I like getting under your skin. Don't take it to heart.

Lower Definition (Pointed out by FaiNt) There are a lot of great bands out there that you shouldn't shut off simply because they are pre-2000. Most of the bands I REALLY love started out in the 90's and still put out great music.

I had actually talked to Hahninator once about running an extension to the website specifically for "bloopers" but I don't think it appealed much interest. I think it's a great idea though and hopefully more people will chip in.

As much as I dislike a handful of songs on Minutes to Midnight, I think they were well constructed. It was more of a "I dislike this" instead of "This song is pretty annoying" which is what Forgotten always was to me. I love the verses and the breakdown, but I have always hated the chorus. It just sounds extremely weird. I hate to diss anything off of Hybrid Theory, that's my favorite album from them but damn....even the "HOO HAA!!" makes it worse.

To be fair, the original members aren't even there anymore. There's a lot of truth to this regarding a LOT of people. They listen to the radio and assume that's what rock music is about. Anything that's hot on the radio is usually easy listening to sell to the public, if you are wanting something with more soul to it, you gotta search. Damn dude! That song is sick!

I just listened to your Part of Me mix more in depth, and noticed at about 2:50 on the breakdown, Mike is on the right channel and Chester is on the left. I don't know if it was always that way but that's sick!

You judge music based on how old the members of the band are? You are right, sad indeed.
