Nice. I really like their lyrical approach so far this time around.

It means, if you love dance music, you would think The Catalyst is one of Linkin Park's best songs. It was a sneaky approach at bashing the song, without truly saying the hateful words I was thinking...because in the back of my mind I think it will be a cool song but it's not going to top their epic songs from the past. Hey, it's my opinion...don't judge me. D:

It will be played at all the high school dances, I assure you. XD I'm still going to buy the single when it comes out, it's an interesting approach.

If listening to dance music makes you purely excited, then sure.

The same reason there are people talking about how awesome it sounds. Not everyone will be happy.

Simple. They hire a handful of security to take out bootleggers, then they play live on Jimmy Kimmel where Melodyne software comes in handy and the performance sounds flawless. You never knew it hit ya.

Same here. Minutes to Midnight was a major disappointment for me but this new one sounds like it will blow me away.

This is where many LP fans and I differ, in the fact that I absolutely loved nu-metal. What's wrong with it? It was usually heavy as fuck. lol

The only awful part in my opinion is the melodic trance portion. The rest sounds like it will be very interesting and quite possibly amazing. All I can say is, this clip alone blows Minutes to Midnight out of the water...I really think I will like this album.

Yeah like on their official site they have 3 Digital EP's that are supposed to release every year (we only got one last year lol). A lot of the fans are asking them to put some of the tracks up for download but if they do that it will look like they are selling Sony's product through a premium membership on their website, so I really don't know. A total bummer as I have been waiting on this since I heard about it but I'm glad it is at least confirmed now.

It's a damn shame.

Last year, Fieldy (Korn's bassist), stated that the album, KoRn Kovers, would make an appearance some time after their new record, KoRn III: Remember Who You Are, was released. Jonathan Davis, was asked tonight on Game With Fame (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2) about the album seeing a release later this year. Sadly, Davis informed everyone that the album will not be coming out due to circumstances that are holding back the release. This is most likely due to royalty issues with, Brian Welch, former guitarist, and their old record label as suggested before. This confirms that we may never see Chester on a cover of Nine Inch Nail's "Head Like A Hole". Thanks to Tim Emanuele for the heads up.

Sickest shit I have heard thus far. Vocal levels could be raised just a tad but great job. I've been trying to go this direction but I can't seem to get the distortion right for the samples.

I'm more astonished at the Youtube comments regarding the clips, claiming they BECAME mainstream with this. In all seriousness, I really like the vibe of this new album thus far. Minutes to Midnight was a major letdown for me but I think there is some potential with this A Thousand Suns specimen...

I'm getting extremely pissed off at the Catalyst button though...

Holy shit...I'm really excited to see where their music has gone to inspire this new style of a theme.
