  1. Can't find any videos from the show, but if you listen at 43:47 from the Charlotte show., it's the exact same starting as 44:27 in the Dallas show. Charlotte DSP: Dallas DSP:
  2. Charlotte, NC August 8th, 2007 http://lplive.net/shows/20070808.php - In The End was dedicated to someone named Tera (Terra?) who we can assume the band met at the M&G - Very interesting note here. On the DSP for this show, Breaking the Habit is NOT from the Charlotte show. It is actually the same recording from the Dallas, TX show a few days before. You can hear the same guy yell "Fuck yeah!" at the piano intro on both recordings, and the entire performance is from the Dallas show. After the song however, once the band starts talking, it goes back to the Charlotte show. Not sure why this is, could be that the part of the recording got messed up in taping or editing?
  3. I guess that's that for the webstream. At least we got to see Shinoda being a fucking animal on that stage.
  4. Don't forget POA apparently. I've always known Chazzy loves FTI, gives me hope for it to come back someday. (My personal favorite LP song)
  5. Agree with everything you said and everything we talked about last night. It's the fact that LT followed up experimental and jamtastic stuff from MTM and ATS that makes it feel much weaker when compared. Skin to Bone has an awesome sound and could have been much more than it is had it been a bit longer. The end of the song is when it feels like it's about to pick up into this awesome finale of sorts but then just falls flat and ends. I'll Be Gone suffers from the same issue. Powerless is perfect, the over 4 minute time gives it what it needs to fully flesh out and build up into the epic song that it is. Had a few other songs been done this way, I think the record would be A+. LITE is fine for what it is, the bridge for IMR makes the whole song, and I've grown to appreciate BID a lot more recently (a lot of cool layering going on in the song). CoG is great as well. I understand what the band (or maybe just Shinoda) was trying to do with this record, they said time and time again they were going for that "firecracker" sound for these songs. The problem is that we now know that LP is capable of mid length, bombastic shit with songs like Catalyst, WTCFM, and so on. We don't need another ATS, I think we just want the energy and fun of LT combined with the effort and creativity of ATS.
  6. Very good interview. Pretty cool to learn all this. Also, Papercut ftw.
  7. Why the hell might I'll Be Gone not happen?? What's the problem? Also, Skin to Bone definitely cannot be as hard as Robot Boy to translate live.
  8. I used to think Mike was black before looking up a pic of the band. I thought Chester sang on Red to Black. I thought Hardly Breathe was a real song. I thought a lot of the fake LP songs that popped up on Limewire and what not during the start of the MTM era were real. I thought the Step Up and It's Goin' Down part of the hip hop melody were covers because I had never heard either one before watching RaR 04.
  9. 'nuff said haha. Completely out of the blue! That track is awesome though.
  10. Not really anything new besides the fact that we MIGHT get to hear snippets of new music in a little while. I hope they tour the shit out of whatever new record they put out.
  11. Not like I can go, but still pretty cool. Was expecting some type of non show news though.
  12. Well yes, so whoever has the money to put in a big amount of entries has the best chances. The others who can't really afford to shell out money, even though it's for a good cause, aren't going to have to best chances to win.
  13. Wish this contest was more random, seems like it just goes to whoever donates the most money.
  14. Got mine on Saturday. It's awesome.
  15. Brad says "We should bring up a kid who speaks German during the bridge" or something along those lines.
  16. No way they would just play an album in full and that be the show, lol. A full album is only a little more than half of a set. They play an album in its entirety, then play a bunch of others.
  17. I really really liked Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, where I saw the first show of the HTC. It's on top of a big ass hill.
  18. I feel like this will just turn into favorite shows, not venues haha.
  19. Oh my god that fits both of them AGAIN. Payphone and Numb / Encore. Shoot me.
  20. No really. LP would definitely open for Maroon 5, the same way that Incubus opened for them.
  21. Okay, I'm convinced its LP now. Another clue that matches them, and another photo of them.
  22. LP aren't really ones to "surprise" everyone by suddenly announcing a big tour like this after saying over and over again that they're not doing any shows besides Summer Sonic.
