  1. Here are some really great videos from the show. Bleed It Out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RkpnzmY-Qk Papercut: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLDhn-62anE Castle of Dance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aS6G3KjIkMU Lost in the Echo / New Divide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R57texnJbqM In The End: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPLeYc4O_eI Mike Solo / Numb: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHbpcLF4WsM Robot Boy / Joe Solo / Burn It Down: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OM6sETN13Tk Here's a video of Mike switching up the rap verse transition into Wastelands. Who recognizes what he's rapping here? Skip to 5:00. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3MyHRPC3yUM Could possibly be something he came up with before the show.
  2. Joe was late for his solo. He ran up to his spot after the song had already begun. You can see here's not there when it starts in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJBoLG4tEGg
  3. The show was really really fantastic. Band was on FIRE. Complete turnaround from the West Palm Beach show. Chester is a lot better, he was at 100%. A cool note to add is that Mike and Chester came down to the pit after the show and took a selfie with the crowd. Chester also spent almost the entirety of Bleed It Out down in the pit taking photos and hugging people down in the front rows. Mike changed tr transition rap verse between Runaway and Wastelands a little bit. He changed a few of the lines but I didnt recognize what he was rapping at all. Hopefully a video will pop up soon. GREAT show tonight though. Very excited for the rest of the tour.
  4. If Chester feels as bad as he did last night I can guarantee that we'll see the same abbreviated set tonight.
  5. Alright, here's the rundown for exactly what the fuck went down last night. 9:20 is when the band usually always hits the stage. The crowd is left standing there til 10:05 when the show finally starts. A solid two hours after 30STM ended their set. Nobody knew what was going on. I am a big fan of this new intro with the drums for GATS building up more and more but then the song starts and it is so damn quiet. Sounds like speakers broke or something. They need to change that, not a fan of how quiet the start is. Song gets fully underway but absolutely nobody in that crowd had any idea what the song was. Everyone was standing still. Song ends, Mike comes out and apologizes for the long wait, they go straight into OSC and the place goes off like a bomb. Blackout rolls in and nobody knows what's happening. Papercut comes in and people are excited again but shortening that song is a horrible decision. Nobody knows what's going on during Rebellion or Robot Boy or Joe's solo. BID sets the place off again , WFTE sounds fantastic. Mike's solo is my favorite part of this set, sounds awesome. Crowd completely loses their shit for Numb, ITE, Faint in a row. Faint ends at 11:00 on the dot so we figure the show is over so the band doesn't have to pay the fine for going over curfew. Chester walks out after awhile and apologizes for the delay and that nothing hurts him more than making the fans wait for a show. He says there is a reason they were late but that he wasn't going to go into details. After another couple minutes Crawling starts, then that god awful placement of the random With You verse, UIG (also stupid to shorten it), WID, BIO. People in the pit tell us that Chester hurt his back. It's definitely noticeable in videos, he looks like he's in terrible shape. Limped off the stage really slowly at the end of the show. Really hope that he gets to feeling better soon, he was going nuts at the rehearsal so this is pretty disappointing. I imagine they might shorten the set the exact same way they did last night if he's not feeling up to it. The full version of this set needs some serious revisions. If you're going to shorten songs, shorten the hits that all casual fans wanna hear and play the jams in full. How in the hell are you gonna shorten UIG but keep BID and Numb in full? I really just don't know what the band is thinking right now.
  6. They made us leave during Robot Boy but we stuck around outside the venue and listened in on the rest of the set. Final Masquerade sounded just fine. Chester was messing up his Rebellion parts without a doubt but he knew that he did and made a face at Mike after it. The new intro is much shorter than the one they used earlier this summer. Small part of The Catalyst's "Lift me up, let me go" is in there. It's more of a buildup into Rob starting the GATS drums. Very happy to see that Points stayed in the set. Papercut should absolutely be in full, Mike even fucked up and started rapping the second verse when the rest of the band went into the bridge. Need it to be in full. Chester added a line to the Runaway into Wastelands transition with his "Never say goodbye!" bit. Whole set falls apart once COG starts. I would prefer the studio version more than the experience version. Ballad medley needs to be axed ASAP. That encore was the worst thing I have ever heard. LITE starting the encore instead of the epic UIG intro is weird, and it didn't even have the intro they used during the LT cycle. Plus the song has been cut even MORE than before, no bridge at all. First verse, chorus, into the last chorus. New Divide needs to be taken out of the set completely, shortened or not. Why the hell they extended Crawling and cut UIG? Makes absolutely no sense. The random With You verse after Crawling is also just plain weird. Feels out of place. There's no instrumental stuff from With You being played there, it's basically Mike doing it acapella into UIG. Very odd. This set is a mess.
  7. Really don't think that the band is playing 3 different sets. Just not enough evidence of it at all.
  8. Pretty disappointed. I was there, and the entire first part of the set really really jams huge. Once CoG rolls in the set starts to get stale. Mike's solo is really really great but other than that the set falls apart. No clue what they were doing in the encore. Hope this gets fixed along the tour.
  9. Purchased a Carnivores shirt. Thanks for this!
  10. That Carnivores t shirt is fucking awesome, I need one ASAP.
  11. Fucking love seeing the Reanimation video playing on the screen for Points.
  12. Rihanna is a fan of the band. She's said before that she has / had a crush on Chester. http://www.people.com/people/videos/0,,20054360,00.html Motocross Superstar Travis Pastrana is also a fan. http://lplive.net/shows/db/2008/20080219
  13. The M&G process is different sometimes depending on the venue, but when you get your LPU membership go to the shows page and request a M&G for your show. You'll get a message saying whether you got it or not near the day of the show. You will probably miss the opening band, and if you bought pit tickets you probably won't be able to get in the front once you're out of the M&G.
  14. How did the band decide how many hits they would do after Points of Authority at every show from 2007 through 2009? Did they just decide on the spot or did they just decide before the show and expect everyone to remember?
  15. Until It's Gone was made for the new Transformers movie, ended up being for the game instead.
  16. I can see the sets being very similar to what they just played over in Europe, with stuff like Runaway being taken out in favor of more Hunting Party songs.
  17. I definitely see why it was needed to have Page on the song because the song is directly influenced by his band and LP wanted him on it, I just think that the end product wasn't as good as it should have been.
  18. Great review, Astat. Definitely enjoyed it. Thank goodness there are people out there who agree with me that All For Nothing's chorus is a weak spot on the album.
  19. Given Up, Crawling, New Divide, Burn It Down, and A Light That Never Comes. Toss em. Chester has a bad day with these.
  20. I really like A Day to Remember and several other bands that fit the same bill as them, but I agree with Astat 100%. Almost every single person who's a big fan of bands like that and go to Warped Tour every year are really just horrible people. They're EXTREME music elitists who just love to shit on every single band that gets radio play and does huge tours. The hipster / scene / hardcore / indie crowd is what absolutely DOMINATES the music fan base at the moment, and most everyone involved in it is just a complete dick and / or not even genuine about the music they like. It is the most ironic thing in the world that all these kids are "rebelling" and going against the mold through the music they listen to when, as Mike even said himself, all these bands are what is big nowadays. None of these guys are small time and they all want to be just as big as LP, is that not what most musicians seek out to do? Christ, all of these bands on Warped pretty much sound exactly the same too, with a few exceptions. That said, this set was epic and I loved the guest collaborations. Thank god APFMH showed up, I need to see it played on Carnivores.
  21. Weirdest thing ever. No way in hell are there any LP fans at Warped Tour.
  22. I'm sure it was just some audio clip from a movie or show or something like that originally, but similar to what happened to Wisdom, Justice & Love there were legal problems.
