Chester's voice is just confusing to me now, lol. I'm listening to the Europe summer 08 shows, before Projekt Rev, and he sounds awesome. But before and after these shows he's not so hot. I think the man just needs to go see a vocal coach before every tour. I think that's what he did before the Summer Sonic shows, no?

Just a general question....why the heck did LP decide to film their live DVD on Metallica's tour? Why not a show they headlined?

Kinda weird hearing such a raw OSC. Nice job from Chester on it though, I love how he always sounds better when it's not an LP show, lol. Also really cool that they did the outro.

Interview with Mike

Won't know until something is actually announced, or not announced, but so far doesn't really look good.

I think Chester sounded great this year. For him. the KROQ performance he didn't sound that well at all though, which always happens to him mid-tour. I thought the early festivals and for the majority of Honda Civic he did well. He goes back and forth a lot nowadays though. His screams differentiate a lot, sometimes even midshow, I think it just depends on how much he's willing to put into them. We need to keep in mind to not judge Chester's singing ability just on his performances with LP though, a lot of that material is hard for him to sing, which is why it's odd that they(Mike?) keep writing hard songs for him, lol. Go check out the recent Camp Freddy show, or his DBS shows. He sounds great on those.

I'm sure Chester contributes much more than we actually think. Didn't get in part come up with the intro for SIB? And I always thought he and Mike went half and half on the lyrics, as shown in the Making of MTM. I think we can all agree that Mike does MOST of the song writing and what not, but we really don't have any way of of knowing how much each individual band member really contributes. Also, I recall that they each go and make a good amount individual seeds that they play for each other.

To get back on topic, I don't think anyone can replace Chester, and I mean that seriously, not just because this is my favorite band or anything. I don't feel like anyone in the band would feel like continuing on as Linkin Park, they'd most likely go do their own thing, or just stay together but become something new, but not LP.

Very nice. It won't win, but hey, a nomination is amazing in itself.

It's definitely mine. I threw it onstage at the Bristow show and I saw them pick it up.

I'm more for a summer amphitheatre tour than a winter arena tour.
