  1. Why not? It's not like it's never happened before. Staff members even used to post full transcripts of LPU chats on the LP.com messageboards.
  2. Nope. It's been played on the radio 3 times (that we know of), but only one of the broadcasts (the 2nd one) was recorded by anybody, and that's what we have. DJ Ravok made a mix of it that removed the radio advertisements during the song, which is commonly mislabeled as the "album version," but that's the only other version that exists.
  3. This pretty much reinforces something I've been suspecting for a little while now...I think LP is going to surprise us and have the new album out a lot sooner than most people expect. I thought for a long time that the album would be out Fall '09 at the earliest, probably not even until 2010. Over the past week or so though, I've been hearing little bits of info from various reliable sources that seem to indicate that the album is a lot closer to coming out than that. I think we might hear an announcement about the album in as soon as a couple months, and it'll probably be out by summer.

I'm curious, where'd you find this information?
  5. Your links don't work. The Kick the Bass music video leaked almost a full year ago. There's a lot of nudity in it. That's why it was deleted from Myspace/Youtube/pretty much anywhere people tried to post it.
  6. Probably not, I mean there are a few random samples floating around out there that are usable, but there's really no way of isolating them from the songs. Even the songs that are on games like Guitar Hero don't have the samples isolated from the rest of the track in the multitrack files.
  7. Joe uses Scratch Live, he's been using that on stage since MTM came out. It allows him to store all his scratch samples on his laptop in the Scratch Live program, bank up/down from sample to sample during the set and use the Scratch Live control record to scratch them, which is a lot easier than having to switch vinyls all the time. LP creates all of their samples themselves and loads them into their samplers. The M-Audio pads that they've been using since MTM came out don't even come with any samples on them, I'm pretty sure. Rob uses the same kind of samplers that Joe does, he has 5 triggers on his drumset (the 3 Pintech pads, a digital kick pedal next to his regular bass drum pedal, and a trigger on his snare drum) that each have different samples routed to them. I think his sampler might actually be part of Joe's rig and Joe switches the samples for him, I've never seen a sampler anywhere around his drum kit.
  8. Easier to Run was not performed at that show either. The last time ETR was performed was April of 2003, Reading/Leeds was in August. Furthermore, the b-side to the BTH single was Crawling from the Reading festival. Your Russian mp3 site quite clearly has no idea what the fuck they're talking about.
  9. And he said a million fucking times during the last couple years that he was going to release it between the end of the MTM touring cycle and the next LP album. He owes it to his fans to release it before the next LP album if he doesn't want people like me to think he's been lying to us for the last year and a half. I think that's a perfectly legitimate question to ask, because I've always held the opinion that if DBS doesn't come out before the next LP album, it will never come out, period.
  10. A lot of Chester's parts are different, specifically. He sings in some spots that he doesn't sing on the album version, and vice versa.
  11. FM, SOB, and Holly Brook were the only 3 artists left that were signed to Machine Shop, right? I'm wondering if this might finally allow Holly to get out of the mess she's in with Warner, because last I heard she was still stuck with them. I'm sure the current economy probably factored into Machine Shop going on hiatus too.
  12. Easier to Run is from Worcester 2003, that song was not even played at the Reading Festival. All the live bonus tracks on LP's iTunes releases are songs that were already released as single b-sides in the past.
  13. Completely different drum track, different vocal parts, louder bass? This is WAY different than the album version.
  14. It's probably some independent mix that found its way onto a promo mix CD and/or vinyl. It may even be the In the End "White Label" club remix that's been around for a long time. There's several remixes like that out there, not really worth spending money on.
  15. I like this version a lot more, it's got a harder edge to it. I wonder if there's a CD promo of it around somewhere...would be nice to hear it in something better than Myspace's crappy streaming player quality.
  16. Open show: Don't Stay (summer '04/PR04 intro), or No More Sorrow. Close main: Faint (2007-present version). Open encore: Crawling (w/Reanimation intro). Close encore: One Step Closer (w/Reanimation bridge).
  17. http://lplive.net/shows/20010602.php http://lplive.net/shows/20010603.php I think that for these 2 shows, it should be noted that "In Yourself" is also known as "Be Yourself." I know there's always been a lot of debate on what to call it (I personally think "Be Yourself" is what Chester's singing), but it'd probably be best to recognize both titles. http://lplive.net/shows/20010602.php - It should be noted that Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit came out at 3 points during this show: First during Crawling, he started pouring beer over Chester's head (causing him to laugh), and rapped/repeated a couple of Chester's lines. Then during Runaway, he came out and tried to pour beer on Chester again, prompting Chester to yell "FUCK YOU!" right in the middle of one of his lines, before continuing. Finally, he can be heard yelling "Fuck the guitar, let's do this shit!" right before the bridge in One Step Closer (referring to Brad's guitar which had quit working in the middle of the song). http://lplive.net/shows/20010608.php - In Yourself/Be Yourself was also played as an interlude at this show, right before In the End (Rob didn't play drums along to it at this show like he did at the other 2 though).
  18. If One Step Closer had the Reanimation bridge in it, the MK version would be my favorite performance of it ever. Other than that, meh...lots of good/decent performances at the show, but none that really stand out as being amazing.
  19. It's kind of hard to predict this, because a lot of this stuff has been done before. Accompanying video/movie for the entire album = Pink Floyd: The Wall Graphic novel for the entire album = Coheed and Cambria: Good Apollo Volume 1 Video game based on the album = Kiss: Psycho Circus LP's said that the album will be something nobody's done before, and specifically that the method in which you recieve the album will be something new. It'll be interesting to see what that entails, and if they're actually doing something that's never been done, or just building upon something that somebody else did already.
  20. I seem to remember him saying something like that somewhere during the Chorzow '07 show.
  21. Well at least in my case, I ATTEMPTED to record the entire show (or as much as my memory stick would allow), but my batteries didn't last for nearly long enough. What I did record isn't "clips," it's a complete video from the beginning of the show up until where my batteries died. I mean, not to be biased toward my own recording or anything, but I don't see how you could say that's not a worthy source but list stuff like this on the live guide: http://lplive.net/shows/20040903.php I do agree that a lot of stuff isn't worthy of being listed though, in particular pretty much any cellphone recording.
  22. Translation: "Our label sucks balls and we can't really do anything about it. Sorry."
  23. http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopi...post&p=7768 The only cut during the entire recording is about 10 seconds during the intro to Crawling, so there's no possible way Forgotten could have been played.
  24. Lockjaw has to be the final name because the song isn't going to be on the new album. Not really.
  25. Probably because the community of people who record in movie theaters is pretty seperate (and a lot smaller) than the community of people who record live concerts. It's a lot harder to sneak a camera into a movie theater than a concert venue most of the time, plus you face a lot bigger consequences if you get caught. I know all kinds of LP fans who tape concerts but I've personally never met anyone who's recorded something in a movie theater before.
