  1. And so was Frat Party. Anyone who bought Frat Party but is complaining about this CD is a hypocrite. It's a sticker.
  2. You know, this IS the first LPU CD that's made up entirely of new, previously unreleased content. And I'm slightly confused...everybody's been begging for a Frat Party 2 or a full version of The Wizard Song for years, everyone loved Barack Your World, everybody loves the silly shit on LPTV, what's so bad about a CD of joke songs?
  3. I think they're talented too. I just think they'd never have gotten noticed if it wasn't for Chester.
  4. HBO Reverb. It's actually more like: Linkin Park feat. Marky Chavez from Adema and Wes Scantlin from Puddle of Mudd - One Step Closer Also, same show: Linkin Park feat. Rakaa and Evidence from Dilated Peoples - High Voltage
  5. Actually, all the backstage footage that was shown before the Clarkston show was recorded at previous shows. The backstage PMA video and the part about the syrup shots were from Cuyahoga Falls. Some of it apparently wasn't recorded by anybody who ripped the webcast though. I remember watching it live and there was one part where Phoenix was messing around with his mic stand during soundchecks for Hands Held High, saying stuff like "I only get a microphone on 2 songs, I have to make the most of it."
  6. http://lplive.net/shows/20040118.php - Mention that Sonny is from P.O.D. http://lplive.net/shows/20040123.php - Sonny from P.O.D. came out on One Step Closer http://lplive.net/shows/20040124.php - Sonny from P.O.D., Doug from Hoobastank, and Dan from Story of the Year came out on One Step Closer http://lplive.net/shows/20040129.php - Sonny from P.O.D., Doug from Hoobastank, and Dan from Story of the Year came out on One Step Closer http://lplive.net/shows/20040202.php - Sonny from P.O.D. and Dan from Story of the Year came out on One Step Closer http://lplive.net/shows/20040205.php - Sonny from P.O.D. and Doug from Hoobastank came out on One Step Closer http://lplive.net/shows/20040315.php - Sonny from P.O.D. and Dan from Story of the Year came out on One Step Closer What's the deal with almost the ENTIRE Meteora World Tour missing info about collaborations? o.O Also: http://lplive.net/shows/20011116.php - Info needs to be changed. Jeanne was not pulled up on One Step Closer, she was pulled up on Crawling and stayed on the stage for the rest of the show. A different girl was pulled up on One Step Closer. And the info about Chester's oral sex comment needs to be removed, as that took place during Dead and Bloated in STP's set (as mentioned on the Chester page for that show).
  7. He came out at NUMEROUS Meteora World Tour shows. The info pages on here for almost that ENTIRE tour are missing information on collaborations for some reason. I posted about it in the corrections thread.
  8. Not long at all. LP posted how to access them on LP.com right when the DVD came out.
  9. I'd say 80% of the people who know Julien-K exists only know about them because of their involvement with Chester/LP. I'm certainly one of them. Being on PR07, doing the MSI and Morning After remixes with Chester, the DBS project, etc...just about every big project they've been involved with had something to do with Chester/LP. I mean hell, they remixed an Avenged Sevenfold song, and even my friend who is the biggest A7X freak in the world had no idea about it. The only reason Julien-K was on the main stage at PR was because they're such good friends with Chester. The only reason Julien-K got on a big tour with Evanescence was because they were on a big tour with LP. The only reason Julien-K toured with MSI is because MSI discovered them while touring with them on PR07...you see where I'm going here. I mean hell, even WITH Chester's support, they STILL haven't gotten a record deal! How are they supposed to "make it on their own" when they can't even get signed with one of the biggest singers in modern rock supporting their every move? The remaining people who know about them are Orgy fans. And from what I've seen, a LOT of old Orgy fans HATE Julien-K and just want Orgy to get back together. Julien-K does not have that big of a fanbase, and what they do have is mostly made up of LP fans or people who know about them as a direct result of their involvement with LP. I firmly believe that had Chester never gotten involved with them, Amir and Ryan would have gone back to Orgy a couple years ago when they realized that their side project wasn't going anywhere. They'd be playing in little clubs for a couple hundred people if it weren't for Chester.
  10. Yes, it's true, that was at the Detroit show of Projekt Revolution 2002. It was actually several members of D12 and not just Eminem, I don't know if Eminem was actually even one of the members who came out. *Edit* And it's already in the list anyway. Also: Linkin Park feat. Dan from Story of the Year - One Step Closer MWT shows had various combinations of Dan from SOTY, Sonny from POD, and Doug from Hoobastank on OSC every night.
  11. It's just the CD mastering. Commercially released CDs these days are pushed to be as loud as possible (check out the Wikipedia article for "loudness war"), so when they're mastered, they put a ton of compression on them to make the quiet parts louder, but in the process, the loud parts clip - they hit the level where sound waves get squared off at their highest peaks, which results in distortion. Here's some comparison screenshots of One Step Closer from the DSP vs. the RTR CD: DSP: CD: As you can see, the CD is much more of a solid wall that's constantly right on the maximum, which is why it's so much more distorted.
  12. Chester's voice has been doing nothing but getting worse since 2006, in my opinion. 95% of the editing done on RTR is pitch-correcting his out-of-tune vocal parts. The only time on the entire Minutes to Midnight cycle that I didn't think Chester's voice sucked was the middle part of PR07 (roughly Phoenix through Toronto), and the first few Europe shows in January of '08 (Hannover through Bercy).
  13. I find it pretty hilarious that Julien-K fans hate Chester when they wouldn't even have a career without him.
  14. I didn't flame anybody. You can't get any of these songs by joining the LPU anyway, none of them are from the LPU7 CD. Once a year of the LPU is over, the "exclusiveness" of any of the songs from that year or any year before it is completely irrelevant because they're no longer part of the LPU package anyway. If I felt like it, I'd throw the LPU 1-6 CDs up on Demonoid right now and have absolutely no regrets about doing it. And once December 4th rolls around, I'd do the same with LPU7.
  15. The CD is mastered really poorly, it's all distorted. The DSP of the Milton Keynes show sounds much better. The audio on the DVD is a lot better than the CD though.
  16. It was the 10th.
  17. SONGS FROM THE UNDERGROUND IS NOT THE LPU8 CD. When will you people figure that out? Jesus fucking christ.
  18. That's on both LPTV and Making of Meteora, nothing new.
  19. WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. You change your opinion about LP-related stuff all the time, but Kerrang isn't allowed to? They're not allowed to give a good review of a DVD/show that took place in THEIR OWN COUNTRY, but it's perfectly alright for you to proclaim any show that takes place in Atlanta as the "best show ever?" I guess that makes you a hypocrite by your own definition. You're obviously still being bitter about Linkin Park taking Projekt Revolution outside the US. Let it go already.
  20. Alright, let's say 5,000 new LPU members sign up via the LPU8 package, and 5,000 new LPU members sign up via Songs From the Underground. Are you saying that the people who buy the LPU8 package are somehow going to be less annoying or do less damage to your chances of getting a M&G? Because you're being completely delusional if you think that. Every new LPU member has equal potential to be an idiot. Every new LPU member decreases your chances of getting a M&G by the same amount. Doesn't matter one bit where they sign up from. You're basically trying to say that statistical probability is somehow more biased toward one type of LPU member vs. another, which is absolutely untrue. I can stand not being right. I've been wrong before. What I can't stand is when people like you act like you know what you're talking about without even stopping for a second to think about how fucking ridiculous your thought process is. You're letting your elitist attitude do all the talking for you, rather than actually using your brain.
  21. Nope. There's an overdub that fixes an out-of-tune guitar part on the intro to No More Sorrow, an overdub that fixes a Mike lyrical mistake in From the Inside, and multiple instances of pitch correction done to Chester's vocals on From the Inside, No More Sorrow, and Lying From You. I've now compared everything through Hands Held High (not counting the 4 tracks that aren't on the CD). Yes, I know the DSPs are edited. I'm saying that RTR is MORE EDITED than the DSP.
  22. Refraining from being a dick and flaming you, I'll simply ROFL.
  23. I'm assuming the photos are the ones in the booklet, but I'm puzzled as to why it would mention the full performance AND "hidden bonus features."
  24. I don't get it. Why would Phoenix say that they were "still working out what the bonus features will be" when the 3 missing tracks is all that's on there in the way of bonuses? What's the point of cutting up the tracklist in the first place if you're including all the songs on the DVD anyway? Oh wait, this is Linkin Park we're talking about here. They think we're all stupid and will twist the meaning of the word "extra" to get away with not including anything on the DVD other than the concert and assume nobody will be wise enough to call them out on it. And if anybody cares to know, I've started A/B'ing the RTR tracks vs. the MK DSP, and I've already found substantial editing in both From the Inside and No More Sorrow (Mike said that RTR is unedited on Loveline - he lied). OSC and Given Up appear to be unedited though.
  25. I'm still kind of holding out hope that there's some kind of hidden feature somewhere, like on Frat Party. Has anybody actually ripped the DVD to their computer and confirmed that there's no extra chapters in there anywhere?
