Gee, maybe that's because I hadn't been seeding for about 14 hours? Read the comments on Demonoid. I share a computer with 4 other people and can't leave torrents seeding 24/7.
  2. Maybe I'm just a lot more critical of Chester's voice on LP performances, but I've always felt like he sings at his best when he's doing other people's songs. Whole Lotta Love is probably my favorite vocal performance he's ever done.
  3. Chester is charismatic enough as a performer that I think he'll consciously try to find some way to make up for his lack of jumping in the future. I mean, while we're talking about NIN, Trent Reznor pretty much uses a mic stand on every song and doesn't do a whole lot of running around, but he has an incredibly intense, commanding stage presence anyway.

DVD has been uploaded: http://www.demonoid.com/files/details/1671669/33376806/ Also, source info: Source 4: Video - PROSHOT (WOWOW Japan) Time: 72 mins Format: VRO / 939 MB Comments: Incomplete, only "One Step Closer," "From the Inside," "No More Sorrow," "Wake 2.0," "Given Up," "Hands Held High," "Leave Out All the Rest," "Breaking the Habit," "Shadow of the Day," "Crawling," "In the End," "What I've Done," and "Bleed it Out." LP recording doesn't begin until about 15 minutes into the video. And, if you want to add my DVD version: Source 5: Video - PROSHOT (WOWOW Japan) Time: 57 mins Format: DVD / 3.91 GB Comments: DVD conversion from Source 4, with the 15 minutes of non-LP stuff removed.

Converting to DVD is about 60% done. Good news though, I managed to get rid of the first portion that wasn't LP. The DVD is going to be substantially bigger than the single .VRO file (over 3 gigs as opposed to just under one), but .VOB is a lot more of a friendly filetype than .VRO is, so it'll be worth it.

.VRO is a pretty ugly file type, I'm converting it over to actual DVD format right now. Also, the taper started their DVR/whatever they recorded with early, so about the first 10 minutes isn't LP. I'm gonna try to split that part off.

I'm downloading the video right now, I asked YiLong to not post the link solely because it'd just slow things down for everybody if a bunch of people jumped on and started downloading it at the same time. I'll torrent it as soon as I finish downloading it, don't worry. And I THINK this is a DVD-quality rip, or at least high quality MPG or something like that. It's 883 MB, and that's in a .zip file.

Uhh...they didn't change the order. May I kindly ask you what the hell you're even doing on a Linkin Park website?

Here's the songs that are actually missing: 03. Somewhere I Belong ---- 05. Papercut 06. Points Of Authority ---- 09. Lying From You ---- 12. Numb 13. The Little Things Give You Away ---- 18. Pushing Me Away (Piano) ---- 20. Numb/Encore 21. Jigga What/Faint This essentially confirms that Wake 2.0 WILL be on the DVD, as the other 3 missing songs weren't shown, but that one was. Also, I'm pretty sure this is the final edit for the DVD, because the video clip of LOATR in this is the same one that was already posted. So as far as the DVD goes, it should essentially be the same thing as the TV broadcast, just with 6 more songs (all of the above except for SIB, Papercut, and POA). Also, I ripped the .FLV's from Youtube. I know they're pretty crappy quality, but they're better than nothing. If the uploader doesn't wind up sharing the original files, I'll post them.

Uhh, no it's not, it's in the Part 3 video. Parts 2 and 3 are just mixed up.

Someone needs to message the taper and see if we can get the original files somehow.

That's not what a concept album is AT ALL. A unifying theme does not mean all the songs will sound the same. Look at Hands Held High and No More Sorrow, those 2 songs deal with essentially the same subject matter, and they're musically as different as night and day.
  13. Uhh...High Voltage IS on the setlist: http://lplive.net/shows/20010916.php You were probably looking at this show: http://lplive.net/shows/200103242.php The videos on HBO Reverb are from the show on 9/16. The 3 live tracks that are found on the In the End: Live and Rare EP are from the show on 3/24.
  14. Because Brad messed up.
  15. No? It's not like Mike's going to be featured on it, he's just helping to produce some random indie artist's song.
  16. This certainly gives me hope that the DBS album will see a release relatively soon, seeing as DBS/Julien-K are in essentially the same situation with their albums.
  17. I just don't get how people can complain about the long-duration shots in this video. It seems like EVERYONE complains about how LIT's editing is too jumpy and the camera never stays in one place for long enough. You get the opposite of that, and you still complain.

    LPU 7.0 But SBDs?

I said I was going to a long time ago, but I never did. I'll try and get around to it after I finish my HT live CD I'm working on.
  19. Let's see, if you would have actually READ THE THREAD, you would know that Brad and Phoenix aren't even on the fucking stage until the last 30 seconds of the song. Once they come out, there are shots of both of them. There are plenty of shots of Mike and Rob.
  20. Found some more information about this show: http://lplive.net/shows/20001128.php LP opened for Unified Theory, and the show/event was 102.1 FM The Edge's New Music Night. Found this in a list of shows by an uploader on Dime: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=214104 UNIFIED THEORY - Nov 28/00 @ The Horseshoe Tavern / 102.1 FM The Edge "New Music Night" - w/Linkin Park - Toronto, ON (INCOMPLETE) Also could potentially mean a second source for the show, if that's not the same one that already exists.
  21. It's kind of hard to show shots of the whole band throughout the song when Brad and Phoenix aren't on stage at all until the last chorus. I think it's just fine, other than the only shot of Joe just showing his hand, lol. I'm glad there's finally a proshot video of this song that actually has a shot of Phoenix playing guitar. Although don't hold your breath just yet, guys. This may not be the same edit that appears on the DVD. The LIT promo video for Numb had a ton of different shots from the actual DVD. Sounds way better than the DSP to me.
  22. Nevermind on the vertical color bars, changing to the IP.Board Pro skin fixes that. The other 2 things, particularly the lack of a "View First Unread Post" button, really bother me though.
  23. Why is the forum I'm looking at right now completely different from the one I was looking at earlier today when I saw you make that post, then? The "View First Unread Post" option is completely gone, having to hit both the Quote AND Reply buttons to quote someone is stupid, the vertical color blocks going through each post is incredibly hard on the eyes...to name a few things.

  25. I think they need to like, schedule themselves for the Hultsfred Festival for next year right now and spend the next 8 months making sure they're all healthy so they can actually play it. {SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif I'm sure they'll head back to China eventually, they've said many times that the '07 Shanghai show was one of their favorites. They probably won't make up all 5 dates, but they'll definitely play Shanghai/Beijing again in the future, and they always hit Taipei on their Asian tours anyway.
