  1. There are no other special features. And we care because it's absolutely FUCKING POINTLESS to cut 3 songs from the show and make it incomplete, then move them to the end of the DVD. Why not just leave the order alone so it all flows together like it's actually, you know...LIVE?
  2. Session was the intro to all Linkin Park shows in February-March of 2003.
  3. It still won't flow together properly no matter what. The gaps where the missing songs would be in the main feature have been edited so the show flows together without them. Dumbest thing Linkin Park has ever done.
  4. According to the news on LP.com/LPU, the release of Road to Revolution has been moved up by one day, to the 24th. - Don't forget to vote for Linkin Park in this contest! You Don't have to sign up at all! http://www.fuse.tv/music/best-of-2008/#votePanel
  5. ROFL @ yet ANOTHER public, easily accessible source mentioning Third Encore as LP's rehearsal studio. I still can't believe LPU HQ threw a bitch fit about it being mentioned on this website.
  6. My thoughts: -The newsletter is pretty nice this year. Not really a whole lot in the way of new information, but it's definitely got more total content than past newsletters. The option of buying newsletters from all 7 years is nice too, I may do that to get the 2.0 and one of the 1.0 ones. -I'm glad the LPU guitar picks are making a return for LPU8. I missed collecting them. -The earbud things are at least a better idea than the shoelaces. It seems like EVERYONE has an iPod these days, so I'm sure some people will enjoy them. -The Songs from the Underground cover was actually already in the Best Buy ad for it, but this is a bit bigger/clearer picture than that one was. Looks cool. -I personally think the live versions of My December and Hunger Strike from Songs from the Underground will be on LPU8, along with the new remix of Leave Out All the Rest. As for what else will be on there, I'm not even going to speculate.
  7. There may not even be a What I've Done demo. It was the last song recorded for the album, after they'd already finished recording at Laurel. I've always been under the impression that they just went into the studio at NRG with a rough idea of how the song should sound, recorded it, and that was the final version. If any song on MTM doesn't have a demo, WID is it.
  8. Anyone can purchase an LPU membership if they want to. Anyone can purchase songs for the Underground if they want to. There is absolutely no difference whatsoever. Funny you talk about people being "n00bs" on LPU when you sure as hell still act like one yourself.
  9. The live version of LOATR is not from Milton Keynes, it's from Clarkston. Leave Out All The Rest [Live From Projekt Revolution, Detroit MI, Aug. 22 07] -From the Windows Media clip on the streaming site. So this is essentially the same single we got in July, with the remix replacing the live version of In Pieces, and 2 enhanced videos as a bonus.
  10. Newsflash: ANYONE has ALWAYS been able to purchase past LPU CDs on eBay. This is NO DIFFERENT WHATSOEVER. LPU music has never been and will never be exclusive. LPU music has never been and will never be exclusive. LPU music has never been and will never be exclusive. LPU music has never been and will never be exclusive. LPU music has never been and will never be exclusive. Grow a brain and quit bitching about it. Please.
  11. http://lplive.net/shows/20011020.php Setlist/info for this show is wrong. Forgotten was not played at all, and there's just a small cut (about 10 seconds) during the beginning of Crawling on the recording. Also, it was only 2 members of the X-Ecutioners (Total Eclipse and Mista Sinista) who came out and did a short DJ set after A Place for My Head. Info should be something like this: Setlist: 01. With You 02. Runaway 03. Papercut 04. By Myself 05. Points Of Authority 06. Step Up 07. Pushing Me Away 08. In The End 09. A Place For My Head 10. Crawling 11. One Step Closer Source 1: Video - AUD (Hi8: Sony 2300 Hi8) Taper: Lividz Time: 44 mins Format: DVD (M) / 1.48 GB Sample: (Pushing Me Away - 15 sec) - Download (right click & save) Comments: Right shot. Small cut during 'Crawling.' Show Notes: - Total Eclipse and Mista Sinista from the X-Ecutioners came out and did a short DJ set after 'A Place For My Head.'
  12. Don't Stay - Before Minutes to Midnight came out, I seriously thought this was one of those songs they would NEVER play anymore. I'm shocked it's survived as long as it has. Cure for the Itch - Nothing against the song, I think it was really cool that they dusted it off in '07. But most of one touring cycle is plenty enough for it, time to put it to rest and stick Session in its place or something like that. Pushing Me Away (Piano Version) - This was a really cool thing at the Japan shows in '06, and it was cool to see them continue to play it for the first part of '07...but it got REALLY old. Unless they do something cool like have the album version in one set, the piano version in one set, and the Reanimation version in one set, this song lasted about a year longer than it should have. From the Inside - I love this song, but they've been playing it with the same intro since late 2003, and it really just seems like filler when they play it live these days. Unless they give it an awesome new intro or something, time to give it a break. The Little Things Give You Away - Another great song that I love, but it's kind of similar to Hands Held High in that they've never been able to do it live in a way that really does justice to the song. It's also a total snoozer with the crowd whenever they play it. I also think it's time that they start rotating more of their older singles - In the End, Breaking the Habit, Numb, Somewhere I Belong, they're all so overplayed, there's no need for them all to be played at every single show. Leave Out All the Rest also did poorly compared to the rest of the MTM singles, they should rotate that as well.
  13. Those strings sound like they're in the album version to me. In order for a song to qualify as a remix, it has to have something in it that's not present in the original version, at least in my opinion.
  14. The LP version is the Hybrid Theory album version of One Step Closer. It's no different than how there's a promo CD with both the original and Reanimation versions of My December on it. This CD has been ripped before, the mp3 of the Radio Edit is fairly common.
  15. Yes, that's the Figure.09 demo. It's the same thing that's on the Making of Meteora DVD (same scene anyway, the DVD doesn't have the guitar solo part), and it says "FIGURE.09" right there on the screen just like it does with all the other demos. You can also tell it's the same beat. The website version of With You was probably the same thing as Now I See/the pre-final mix. The HT.com website was the only place the "stop the talk show" version of Points of Authority was released, it's not on any CD anywhere. So if the website version of With You was something different, we'd already know about it because it would be just as common as that version of POA. He was asking if you were joking because converting an mp3 to FLAC is just about the most pointless thing in the world. Converting a lossy format like mp3 to a lossless format like FLAC doesn't magically make it lossless. Lossy is lossy no matter what you do to it, and the quality of any file can only get worse, never better.
  16. That wasn't a remix. It was just the album version with everything but the vocals, keyboards, and strings removed from it.
  17. Are you preordering Road To Revolution? Nope. Will you be buying it when it comes out? Negative. What are your plans for the new CD/DVD? I'll download it when it leaks. Depending on what the bonus features are, I MIGHT ask for it for Christmas or something. I'm not going to spend my own money on it no matter what, though.
  18. Umm... http://web.archive.org/web/20000408172608/...bridtheory.com/ Click "music downloads." WOW LOOK AT THAT, WITH YOU AND POA! Once again, your 4shared link does not work. As I already said, this is the demo of Figure.09. Doesn't sound any different from the regular song. And you could at least correct the errors I pointed out to you already instead of re-pasting all your incorrect information...
  19. I think they'll spend the remainder of this year writing, while Chester simultaneously finishes the DBS album. It shouldn't be too big of a distraction from LP for him since DBS is more or less finished already anyway. I can see DBS coming out in March followed by a short U.S. tour to support it. The rest of the guys can continue working on the LP album during this time, and by May/June I'd anticipate them being in full-blown recording mode. There's been a lot of talk about there being a Projekt Revolution next year (it's even advertised by KROQ and a contest on Ticketmaster), but it's way too far in advance to plan a whole tour, so I'd anticipate them doing a Projekt Revolution festival thing like they've talked about in the past, maybe one on each coast (New York and L.A.), plus maybe making a quick trip to Asia to make up the cancelled MFR dates. That could be their little escape from the studio during the summer, then they'd come back, finish the album, and have it out in the winter, either the very end of '09 or early '10.
  20. Yep. And I've never knowingly purchased a single one of them.

At the time you had posted that, no. There are about 12 other seeders now though.
  22. Well, Paradise City is a no-brainer since it's a GNR song and Slash is playing it. He plays Highway to Hell pretty much flawlessly, and Whole Lotta Love is pretty good, although he trades sections of the solo back and forth with Joe Satriani, and Joe's guitar isn't turned up loud enough, so it doesn't sound right.
  23. It's incomplete. That's reason enough to hate it already.
  24. Ahh, forgot about that. That's probably what it is.
  25. Wrong. Hybridtheory.com had 4 different songs up at different points, in 2-song groups. At one point it was Esaul/By Myself, at another point it was With You/Points of Authority. Pre-final mixes can not be considered demos, as they're nothing but unmixed versions of the final album versions. Now I See and Plaster are more or less the same thing, but they do have SOME musical differences. I don't think any of the clips you listed have much of a point in being mentioned either. They're either incomplete, or not available at all. It doesn't matter if we know it exists if we can't hear the whole thing. Also: Enth e Nd (featuring DJ Vice) - This is a demo of DJ Vice's own remix, not a Linkin Park demo. sold my soul to yo' mama demo clip - Probably fake. talk to me (Clip) - Pretty sure this is fake, never heard of it. check it out (clip) - Incorrect name. This is referred to commonly as "Just Drag it Out," as that's what Chester sings in the clip. take away my breath (clip) - Another incorrect name. The first line Chester sings in this is "Thoughts that take away my pride." brad playing faint demo at 75 BPM - Brad's playing this at the same speed as the final version, it's just different chords. meteora demo beat 1 meteora demo beat 2 meteora demo beat 3 meteora demo beat 4 meteora demo beat 5 meteora demo beat 6 meteora demo beat 7 meteora demo beat 8 meteora demo beat 9 - I know there's several random unknown beats found throughout LPTV/Making of Meteora, but 9 seems like a lot. Some of them are probably beats from other songs (they use a lot from Reanimation). cant take this - This is also either fake, or you're thinking of the Figure.09 demo clip where Brad is playing guitar and Mike's rap vocals are in the background with different lyrics. And lastly, your 4shared link doesn't work.
