  1. I personally would love a release like Music Bank or Chris Cornell. A mix of greatest hits, rarities and unreleased content. There are some Linkin Park tracks such as Not Alone, Blackbirds, Final Masquerade (Acoustic) and Rolling In The Deep that never received a physical release. This would be the perfect way to do that. As a bonus they could include some of those One More Light leftovers like Friendly Fire, What Are You Worth, Ricochet, My Horizon, Tidal Wave and whatever else. Hell, we know there are some Hybrid Theory-era tracks still unreleased like Ashes and Turn To Grey. Imagine what they could release from other albums too. Chicken Basket, Fire In The City, Left Right, The Glistening. They could even include the live version of Looking For An Answer to at least give the song an official release.
  2. Same folder as Mic, the one with the .snd files. http://linkinpedia.com/index.php?title=Hybrid_Party_Of_A_Thousand_Things#Disc_1:_Hybrid_Theory_Demos
  3. I can see how my choice of words can be perceived as aggressive and I fucking apologize for that.
  4. What the fuck are you talking about? Do you even know what nightcore is? It's basically sped up / pitch shifted music. lol It's closely related to the current hyperpop (see OSC 100gecs remix) trend.
  5. I hope this doesn't mean Mike will start making nightcore music...
  6. I'm going to start removing Grey Daze posts from unrelated threads. You guys sound like children. "GD is cashgrab" "no, it isn't" "yes, it is" "no, it isn't" "yes, it is" Everybody already knows you disagree with each other, just stop replying. If you want to continue this shit show you're free to do so in the privacy of your PMs where it won't bother other forum members. Please don't reply to this post either. Just end this discussion already.

  8. I'm just gonna leave this here: https://twitter.com/radiodisney/status/854892884432211968
  9. Just saw on Instagram. That tracklist is just this tape: https://lplive.net/shows/greydaze/19960218 Nothing to do with the album.
  10. It seems everyone forgot about Mike doing the same thing with Post Traumatic. He released an EP and said he might do more if it's well received. That's a sad statement and fits in the sellout narrative. It's like he won't release music for the fans, but for the masses with the sole purpose of making money.
  11. Yeah, there's no contradiction there. Mike said himself on Twitch: Mark wasn't a singer. https://lplive.net/forums/topic/14219-mike-qa-summary-6192020/ There's no reason to doubt the band's version either. Jeff Blue in his book even mentions how Mark was so nervous about recording vocals in the studio that he made everybody leave the room.
  12. Mike's discography pretty soon: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buckethead_discography
  13. They used Attached for the entire Street Soldiers Tour, it seems. You can hear it on the Las Vegas video too. http://linkinpedia.com/index.php?title=Attached
  14. The release date of another song from the ShinodaProduceMe initiative has been announced. 'I Can't Feel A Thing' by UK rapper and singer Judison was produced live on Twitch by Mike Shinoda on January 27 and 28. The original piano and vocal demo had two verses and a chorus without any real structure to it. Mike commented: “He’s [Judison] got his concept, he knows what his song is about, he’s got a hook, I like the hook, it’s very simple, and I want to be able to play with it and make more out of it.” On Friday (02/12), Judison announced a February 26th release date for the finished track along with a preview on Instagram. He wrote: “This is one of my favorite songs I've ever written and it really has been a real life dream come true to be produced by Mike and I'm so incredibly thankful for the opportunity and to connect with all of you! To my newest gang members, I'm so happy ur here and I love you so much. Thank you all for the continued love and support you show me you have NO idea how happy I am to have you here with me. We all go through it, we're all constantly tryna figure out why and what we are doing here on this planet.. But here we are, everyday pulling each other up and out of the trenches.... I wrote this song from an extremely painful place in my life, at a time where I was completely numb and pretty lost. While I'm here I'm gonna remind you that you are meant to be who you are, or you would have been born as someone else, so be you, fuckin own that shit, and never back down from what you believe in. So with all that said, the song will be out on the 26th February. I hope you love it as much as I do.” UPDATE: New release date, March 12, 2021, as confirmed by Judison on Instagram: "March 12th I Can’t Feel A Thing will be on all streaming platforms (apologies for delays and keeping u guys in the dark, wont happen again) 🖤🖤"
  15. Yeah, Mike said Slip was in the first batch of songs they did with Chester. If you read the book, when Jeff got that first CD with Chester, Brad told him they might record Slip with Chester. Apparently Jeff liked the song. It was probably right after that. Either Jeff doesn't have a CD with it or it is one of the CDs we don't have a tracklist. Note we don't have any tracklists with Flower or Stick N Move either. I believe the recording of Slip we have was in the same disc as Esaul, Blue and likely So Far Away. If I recall correctly, in the Hybrid Theory 20 book, Rob said the version of Stick N Move we got was recorded in early 2000 just so they could bring it to Don Gilmore. Something I noticed: Caught Out There by Kelis was released in September 1999, but according to the book, the demo of Crawling with a line from that song was recorded around August. The only explanation I can think of is that they got an advanced version of the album or single since her song was recorded in 1998.
  16. Oh, nice. Too bad it's album-only. I think it actually means the release is available in MQA, which is a format Tidal claims to be lossless but it's actually lossy. The result is a big file with low quality. There's a lot of controversy around it. https://tidal.com/masters https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Master_Quality_Authenticated
  17. No, I believe you can find the iTunes Festival EP on various digital stores now. I see you're from Brazil, so that means the EP is available on Spotify on your country. If you mean the single, I think it isn't available anywhere anymore. At least that's what it says here. The original version of No Roads Left is available on the tour edition of Minutes To Midnight, but no digital store has it anymore as far as I know. The new version was included in the Minute To Midnight picture disc that came out in 2017. The iTunes deluxe version of the album from 2013 is now available in other digital stores with that version. It includes Across The Line too, but the only place to purchase the original version of Across The Line is the LPU store.
  18. Why do you comment on every thread related to Linkin Park's early days just to say you don't see the appeal of Xero / Hybrid Theory demos?
  19. Jeff Blue is online right now on Reddit answering fan questions. If you have anything to ask him, head over to r/Music and leave a commentary!
  20. You guys can download the MPC software as a free trial and open the Stick N Move projects from the "MIKE MPC" folder to see where in the song those samples are used. I can't do it because my license has expired. https://www.akaipro.com/mpc-software
