  1. And the forums come alive! Haha Big week ahead, hopefully. Not even fussed about a single, just a snippet of new music would be awesome at this point.
  2. I'd love this, as much to see more "mainstream-minded" fans react with utter confusion as anything else.
  3. I liked the first two Mars albums, it all got a bit U2 for me after that. Not my cup of tea really, but I don't begrudge their success, they've done well to create fanbase as passionate as theirs.
  4. The promoter will have chosen the bands, but it's very likely they'd have consulted Linkin Park on who they were booking underneath them, to ensure they'd have no problems. So LP had no say in picking them, but would likely have "vetted" them, basically.
  5. If ever we need to create a musical loosely based on the works of Linkin Park, we'll get COG on the line.
  6. Taken from the Time Newsfeed: http://newsfeed.time.com/2014/02/25/here-i...-favorite-band/ The Echo Nest provides a music intelligence platform to hugely popular services like Rdio, Spotify and MTV, so they have a ton of data on what people across America like to listen to. By digging into this well of information they were able to discern what states listen to specific bands more than other states and created a map that displays that data. Most interestingly for our little community, Linkin Park are apparently most popular in Arizona. Because of the Chester connection, perhaps? Anyway, here's the full map:
  7. Yeah 'cause the average Linkin Park fan also loves Status Quo and Behemoth, didn't you know?
  8. I almost forgot they were doing the Mall soundtrack. Will be interesting to see how that contrasts with album 6 - maybe they're satisfying their electronic urges for Mall, and so that's why the album's going in a more rock direction? Time will tell I guess.
  9. "Trent Reznor spends too much of the new Nine Inch Nails album whispering" Mike hits the nail right on the head
  10. LPA has about 11 and a half thousand users, we have about 7000. On the other hand, I think a much bigger percentage of our users actually frequent the forums regularly.
  11. Optimism at its finest. YOU ARE NOT ALOOOONEAnd yeah, agree with this. Chester's vocals on New Divide and Crawling are a bit poo live, they're just too high.
  12. I may be alone here, but I reckon Breaking the Habit should be dropped, or at least played less regularly. It's so bloody monotone live and Brad must get bored to tears when they do it.
  13. Phoenix because as a fellow bassist, he bores me to tears.
  14. The way that they're describing things, I reckon late summer will be most likely for a release. Sounds super exciting, can't wait to hear the results!
  15. I though the start was good. But dat second encore...
  16. Bit out there, but I'd genuinely like to hear Chester cover Feel by Robbie Williams...
  17. It's also my definition of trash, but I'm not sure that's what you meant
  18. "thrash part" "thrash part" "thrash part"
  19. This I did not know. Explains lpliveusername and Usman's low post counts...
  20. Either that or to get keyboard-warrior Facebook fans as angry as possible and asking "WHY LINKIN PARK MAKE EDM? SHOULD MAKE NU METAL LIKE OLD DAYS", then anything vaguely more rock-ish will bowl them all over and make them love the band even more. /cynicism
