  1. I was right down the front for Hybrid Theory, then ended up moving back a bit for the rest of the set to prevent being completely exhausted by the end. One bizarre thing I noticed was that the people around me really got into the Apaches intro to WFTE, more so than the actual song
  2. I'll be recording it if nobody else is, but they usually appear on YouTube after a while.
  3. I wondered if that would be anyone from LPL, awesome man! I myself was SO close to the CD Mike threw out.
  4. Mate... you haven't seen the pit I was in during By Myself and A Place for My Head haha. The crowd where I was was brilliant, singing along to every song from the album - even the "let's try something else" part from CFTI! Went mental at various points, for the big singles obviously but the bridge of APFMH was a highlight as well. I should also add, it was so rammed down the front that at times jumping was pretty much impossible.
  5. Every little tidbit of related stuff is making me more and more excited. MOTHER OF SHINODA, IT'S TOMORROW!
  6. I won't be getting on site until about 1:00, so no barrier for me. I prefer being in the midst of the crowd anyway. (My word that smiley is angry)
  7. #nocapsnothing I'm so glad they discontinued it on this album, it annoys me so much...
  8. I will be there, and I will be losing my tiny mind. Nice little write-up, got me even more excited!
  9. I'm definitely not expecting them to end on Pushing Me Away, so there'll 100% be stuff after Hybrid Theory. The question is whether they'll kick off with it right off the bat then a long encore or do a few songs, the album then a few more at the end. From the general idea of most interviews, it looks like they'll do the former, though I think the latter would be better.
  10. Decent video, Chester metamorphosing into a hedgehog was a highlight.
  11. Yeah, from the two listens I've had Until It's Gone came off as the weakest song. Having said that I personally didn't really like Mark the Graves, but maybe it just needs more time.
  12. I'd love to hear War live. Live punk rock is pretty much the most fun thing in the world.
  13. Download is far more likely. If they're planning on announcing it in the next few days that'll be how they do it as Live Nation basically use the festival as a massive tour promotion platform.
  14. After two listens yesterday I'm holding off until I get the CD. It feels like ATS in that it will take a little while to properly process.
  15. Oh that's what it was. I don't really think either sound the same, similar yeah, but very different at the same time. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Final Masquerade got a proper single release, seems like the obvious one to me.
  16. Only listened once so I won't go into detail, but a few thoughts: - From now on I'm going to refer to it as The Hunting Party: Rob Bourdon Strikes Back. - Guilty All the Same sounds a hell of a lot better in the context of the album. - This is the first time I've listened to Wastelands, probably my favourite on this first run through. Such GROOVE. - Chester sounds more aggressive on War than he has done since the Hybrid Theory EP. - A Line in the Sand makes me think of Game of Thrones.
  17. UK people, you can listen if you follow the iTunes link posted by Hahninator. I'm going in...
  18. Magnificent news, cheers mate. Hopefully this does actually end up happening.
  19. I'm not listening to anything other than GATS or UIG until the record comes out, but I briefly previewed myself the opening riff of this, and it was pretty much exactly what I expected - though I am a System fan so that's no bad thing.
  20. I'm sure I read somewhere that Harry was an LP fan as well. Plus, this means that the future King will be a Linkin Park fan. Evil plan hatching, begin!
  21. 2007, though it was Hybrid Theory (or more specifically In the End) that drew me in.
  22. Considering how much Hammer have slagged off LP in recent years, this is very interesting and has me very excited. Unlikely that Dom Lawson will like it, mind
  23. I too am yet to listen to this, as two songs is my limit before the full album release. The descriptions people have given make m optimistic I'll like this more than the previous two released songs.
