  1. This sounds absolutely nothing like current pop rock...
  2. What is it with legitimate music videos having lyrics slapped over them nowadays? Song's alright, hasn't blown me away. Pretty much LP is as LP does. The synth stuff is fun, and Chester's vocals are better on this than GATS. The final screams are an absolute waste, mind. No it isn't, and no they haven't.
  3. Zane does pretty much all kinds of popular music. The main rock guy on Radio 1 is Daniel P Carter.
  4. Hopefully it'll leak before the premiere in decent quality so I don't have to listen to Zane Lowe...
  5. If they keep Lies Greed Misery on this touring cycle I'll make a sacrifice to the Aztec gods, asking them to make them stop. Probably the worst sounding live song they've ever done.
  6. There's a lot of little spelling mistakes. It's pretty obvious what Chester meant in that part.
  7. That bit with the phone is such a terrible metaphor Interesting interview, good to hear they'll be touring this record more.
  8. I feel like an echo... but DAT ART. Can see this being a more commercial track than GATS, aimed for radio play by the label.
  9. I've said "more interesting basslines" in several threads, but it's also applicable here. More audible guitars on LITE and BID. Leave the demo verses of ITE on the final version.
  10. Just for clarification, everyone, this is Disney Commercial Music: This is not: FIN.
  11. Would have convinced me to go see it. Recharged wasn't "Disney commercial music", though it was commercial music. However, I don't think it was commercial for the sake of being commercial, it was just a direction the band (Mike) wanted to explore. Now they're exploring a less commercial direction, on an actual studio album rather than a remix one.
  12. This is the band that gave us a bridge consisting entirely of "SHUT UP WHEN I'M TALKING TO YOU". (Don't get me wrong it's badass, but it's certainly a bit primitive, hell that's what makes it badass) I'm sure there will be some screaming.
  13. I remember reading somewhere that Oli has loved every LP record except Living Things. And yeah, I can definitely understand the idea of ATS influencing Sempiternal in parts.
  14. That album artwork <3 So the week after Download we're getting a new LP record! So. Much. Win.
  15. Oli looks so nervous, bless him, haha! Stoked to see both bands at Download.
  16. This. One of very few bands you can say it for nowadays, Muse being one other. MCR used to be too, obviously not any more.
  17. Very interested to hear the Cavallo track. He's produced some of my favourite albums (Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Shinedown) so can't wait to find out what he's done with LP.
  18. Got my Saturday ticket. Hoping to watch Bury Tomorrow, While She Sleeps, Upon a Burning Body, Marmozets, Killswitch Engage, Arcane Roots, Bring Me the Horizon, Fall Out Boy and of course LP. Hopefully clashes will be kept to a minimum.
  19. Ghosts is my favourite post-With Teeth NIN record, personally, don't really like the last two records. Nonetheless, working with Reznor would be great, some of the soundtrack stuff he's done lately is brilliant.
  20. I've come back to the song after a while of not listening to it, and I do really like it. If anything the Rakim section is my favourite part of it, so much groove and his verse is killer. The production does leave a lot to be desired, hopefully listening to it on CD rather than through YouTube will improve that slightly.
  21. It won't happen, but if it did: Linkin Park Evanescence Deftones Bring Me the Horizon Hollywood Undead Issues Would be who I'd put on the main stage.
  22. Day tickets will be going onsale THIS FRIDAY at 9am GMT, from this site. http://www.downloadfestival.co.uk/tickets?...wnload_20140324
  23. Just thought it would be an interesting question for the forums. Also, if LP aren't your favourite band, who are? They're a close second to me, my absolute favourite being Deftones.
  24. This could be for the European tour, with a few curveballs thrown in. By Myself (2003 Intro behind curtain, falls as song kicks in) Don’t Stay Lost In The Echo Wretches And Kings With You Given Up Guilty All the Same The Catalyst Somewhere I Belong Papercut Points Of Authority (And One rap over intro) Burn It Down Leave Out All The Rest Waiting For The End Crawling (Piano Version) Castle Of Glass Numb Bleed It OutENCORE In the End (Piano Intro, then piano transition into WID) What I’ve Done Faint One Step Closer ("Blood is pouring" bridge, usual outro) Found it difficult to get GATS in there, but that looks alright to me. Imagine the Catalyst pad starting right as the song finishes.
