  2. On the one hand I completely agree with this. But I also completely back this haha. Very interesting review Astat, I disagree with some of your opinions but share your love of Final Masquerade and the fact that you can hear the bass guitar on Mark the Graves in particular.
  3. You mean like the band's entire catalogue?
  4. Keys to the Kingdom I don't get the Wastelands hate, it's so damn groovy and awesome.
  5. A mostly quite straightforward Carnivores set, with a couple of curveballs. 00. The Summoning 01. War 02. Given Up 03. Lost in the Echo 04. All For Nothing 05. Papercut 06. Numb 07. Mark the Graves 08. What I’ve Done 09. The Catalyst 10. Crawling 11. Final Masquerade 12. A Place for My Head 13. Lying from You 14. Robot Boy 15. Wastelands 16. In the End 17. Castle of Glass 18. 6. They literally rip off EVERYTHING. Everything any musician has ever created. BUT MAINSTREAM. Coming in behind Lana Del Rey is unsurprising as she's huge, and this Sam Smith guy seems to have a lot of hype behind him. As other people have said, this is hardly a chart-friendly album to be promoting and in the current climate selling more than 100,000 copies in the first week is an achievement.
  7. Papercut Much as I love Don't Stay, it isn't quite as good.
  8. An obvious single, so unsurprising. Expect it'll get debuted live on Carnivores.
  9. This is more a moan than anything else, but the new restriction of not being able to post two things in reasonably quick succession can be very annoying, particularly if I just want to add to the Count to One Million thread or something. Not sure what I'm suggesting be done, or if anyone else feels the same, it's just rather inconvenient sometimes for me.
  10. Until It's Gone Which I will vote for... until it's gone! *groans*
  11. Drawbar Got no vendetta against instrumentals, it's just a bit dull ain't it?
  12. I feel like we've unleashed Astat's dark side. On the other hand, Tyler Carter singing the quiet chorus part after the bridge of Faint...
  13. Interesting little songs, the first one in particular is cool, pretty NIN sounding.
  14. To all those not at the show criticising the crowd, I will say this much - there were times I couldn't hear the band at all because the audience singing was so loud. I don't think I've ever experienced that to the extent I did at Download.
  15. 01. Iridescent 02. Numb 03. Papercut 04. Castle of Glass 05. The Little Things Give You Away 06. And One 07. Final Masquerade 08. Leave Out all the Rest 09. A Place for My Head 10. Don't Stay
  16. Final Masquerade for both, for me. It's funny, heavy rock's by far my favourite genre of music, yet most of my favourite Linkin Park songs are their softer ones. Are you sure you're not high?
  17. Haha this is brilliant. Brad seems so out of it, so funny.
  18. There's nothing in Mark the Graves that directly sounds like Blackout, but I definitely think it feels the same, in some way.
  19. War is the kind of song that would work really well in a small venue, but perhaps not really in the arenas they play.
