  1. He books the Download Festival. Met him the other day, seemed like a nice enough bloke He'll probably become a legend among the LP community now haha.
  2. I really dig The Rising Tied, one of my favourite hip hop records (admittedly not that well versed in the genre), but would rather the EPs option so it didn't get too much in the way of Linkin Park.
  3. News so important Bliss has come out of hiding Excited to find out what bands will be playing under LP, aside from Fall Out Boy. Really hoping for Deftones!
  4. 01) New Divide (Moscow Intro) 02) Somewhere I Belong 03) Lost in the Echo 04) Given Up 05) The Catalyst 06) *NEW SONG* 07) Numb 08) My December [could see it being brought back] 09) Waiting for the End (UIB Intro) 10) Burn it Down 11) Bleed It Out 12) Cure for the Itch 13) Papercut 14) With You 15) Runaway 16) Points of Authority 17) Crawling 18) By Myself 19) Pushing Me Away 20) A Place for My Head 21) Forgotten 22) In the End ===================== 23) What I've Done 24) Faint 25) One Step Closer Mixed up HT a bit to make CFTI a kind of segue into it, put In the End at the end (haha) as it'll be the biggest crowdpleaser, moved With You and Runaway together as they are usually are and put OSC in the encore as a big finish.
  5. On a more serious note, I think this was a pretty shrewd business idea. If Linkin Park were to have played again in a "normal" capacity I think there'd be a lot more complaints, but the Hybrid Theory in full angle is making a lot of people very excited and will probably sell tickets very well.
  6. I will be there. I will sell my soul, dignity and all my possessions... but I will be there. AAAAAAAGGGHHHH. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA that's going in my signature.
  7. It's quite a common game among the yoof of the UK. They can be very amusing when done properly.
  8. Fun episode. Some of the effects were a bit... odd, but not too distracting.
  9. It's definitely not sampled, but it is similar. I think it's more likely to be a coincidence than anything else.
  10. In fact, just Other Music?
  11. I though the whole concept of the ATS cover art was that it wasn't anything in particular, and open to interpretation (like a Rorschach test). I myself have always seen it as a bird of some kind, but I've heard a few different theories.
  12. As far as I'm concerned, Recharged is a nice little stopgap before the 6th studio album. No, it's not the best thing the band have ever released, but it's not nearly as bad as many are making it out to be. As for new Fort Minor, yes please. But after LP6.
  13. Producers often help to write the music for an album, though considering how creative Linkin Park are, I definitely don't think they'd need that. To be honest, I really don't think they need Rubin at this point. Just let Shinoda produce the whole thing.
  14. Bravely surfing against the tide of public opinion, this one
  15. I say that because there's a very clear Refused influence, and as far as I'm concerned they were a post hardcore band. And yeah, this has the potential to go into very stupid narrow genre parameters. Linkin Park have made rock, metal, hip hop, pop and electronic songs, the majority of their music being a fusion of several of these.
  16. The Bronx being on the playlist pleases me greatly. Hopefully this means a more "rock" sixth album, but I'm not counting chickens yet.
  17. Victimized is more hardcore, or maybe even post hardcore, than metal.
  18. It will be interesting to see what kind of setlist we'll get for this show. Probably really similar to the LT tour, but you never know- nobody expected all the 2012 revivals.
  19. I actually find that little imperfection really cool, it's almost like a false start that takes you by surprise. It's cool for the band's music to not always be completely clinical, little touches like that add character.
  20. I can't stand stadium shows. The sound is always a bit rubbish and you feel like your miles away (the only band I've seen successfully counteract this is Green Day). Arenas are sooooo much more preferable, especially if there's a nice one nearby like the O2 in London. And yeah, I'm pretty lucky living near London that we get most of the tours that hit the UK. I agree with the fact that travelling a couple of hours to see a band is great fun, and that once you have to get a boat/plane to see a band it becomes less fun and a bit silly. xdespisedkidx has good dedication. My dedication extends to within the UK So yeah, the moral of the story is LINKIN PARK COME PLAY ENGLAND PLZZZZZ
  21. Assume they've leaked this a little early. Weird video. If anything it seems a little cluttered, like they've tried to get too much into it. There are times when all the projectiony bits are just an eyesore.
  22. "recommendations of NIN songs?"

March of the Pigs, Wish, Reptile, Terrible Lie, Somewhat Damaged

  23. They don't want to excite them any more. They play Coldplay to attempt (in vein) to put them to sleep.
