  1. 2009/2010 a result of my quest to find a recording of Sonisphere UK '09. I just kept on picking up bits and pieces on my way, it just all kind of built up. I'd say I got hooked on the music in 2009, but I got hooked on the band in 2010. I'm terrified of counting how many LP songs I have on my iTunes their music means a ton to me proof? woke up in the tent at Sonisphere, the day LP were due to play. this was my first time seeing any big bands live - particularly one that I'd been so captivated by. I wandered out of the tent, took a look over at the arena and I actually vomited out of sheer "fucking hell, I'm so damn pumped!". nerves, adrenaline, excitement - proper "imma take you by surprise", body-jerk, you-can't-get-your-hand-to-your-mouth-to-stop-it-fast-enough vomit...
  2. I'm pretty sure there's art for the fort minor militia stuff - as in a scan of the cover it came in. I don't think there's special, specific art for the others, I assume most people (like I did) simply included those in the CDs for which they were a bonus
  3. I'm pretty sure that all of those pages under the "site" tab are in need of an update. i guess that's coming for whenever work starts on 5.0
  4. the Projekt Revolution Breaks is a vinyl - http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=1821 not sure if it counts as pure LP/LP-related since it only features a few samples of songs (as explained in the thread) but i'd that under "misc"
  5. BRAD'S DANCING @MFR SHOW '05 not a fail as such, but it's a thing to behold 'nuff said.
  6. ok, true I guess LP has it's LPU to consider. I think I'd be more pissed off to pay for a yearly subscription only to find out the band was only planning one date in my countr- oh wait, sorry US fans! ...
  7. meh! early news is early. plus, all this talk of the new album, is holding up the release of the new album. I'm calling this as the first of the post-LT "X is holding up Y" posts...
  8. do you think My Chemical Romance have money ...? it's the same label, but their system has worked flawlessly. plus MCR are much less popular on a global stage than LP these days, how can LP be messing this up so majorly while other bands do a similar thing without any problems?
  9. or just work like fuck to have it done properly. i guess they simply have an automated database that sends out emails to logged addresses? is that sort of thing really that hard to make work properly!? MCR's Conventional Weapons has worked with no problems for me whatsoever (I can't speak for others though) and they're on the same label, why is it so hard for LP (arguably a bigger band) to get access to similar, functional software...?
  10. for a moment there I though you were using a Malcolm Tucker meme. i was sorely dissapointed...
  11. Figure.09 maybe, but PMA is such a dull song, in every version - reanimated, piano, studio original - they all bore me to death live. sure they were cool to hear, but they're not something I'd kill to hear done again
  12. in the long-run, if they stop using guitars and don't bother with Brad, he can at least join the circus in all seriousness nice episode, much better than the ATS ones - they feel much more encompassing and complete than prior ones. glad to see they made a big point of addressing the accident at Johannesburg
  13. "has announced they will be playing a show" it always amazes me that a lot of groups don't tour to promote a record. this is one performance for a vaguely new album, think back to LP's Hybrid Theory promo days... crazy! I guess it's different for bands who don't play with amps, drums etc. but it's still funny how promotion works differently for different genres
  14. yes you can. I am not an LPU member, I am working off a trial version. the file format is WAV
  15. oh for ****'s sake!! I too got messed about by donna! for future reference, it's "scat"
  16. by the descriptions and titles of the samples that Astat identified, then likely yes. I know LPA has a link to the copy of the program. I do not have an LPU code, so i don't know if I have a substandard package to the others (no innuendos folks) gut I can find most of what Astat is talking about by his file-path instruction. I'm late to the party since I've had problems connecting to the site, but thank you Astst, this has been a great find!
  17. yeah this confused me too, who's Donna...?
  18. lulz. glad you didn't use my wording though, I phrased that rather rudely
  19. haven't listen to enough of the '12 ones to make an informed decision, but I've been raving on about Cape Town for days now so guess who gets my vote...
  20. tell them they should "like" LP's facebook page, it lets you get official updates and news direct from the band! https://www.facebook.com/linkinPark/posts/10151363420686788

    Recommend me a DSP

yeah I admit, Porto Alegre is too much at times, but i like that atmospheric vibe

I'm not seeing what people see in Bucharest. I like being able to hear the crowd a bit more in the mix, and that tiny bit of echo when the crowd mics pic up the guitar and vocals from the PA - this is why I like Cape Town. Rio 1 & 2, Porto Alegre are pretty good in this respect too. it feels more like listening to an actual show than the just band in session
  23. anyone else notice the words "w/ Sabotage bridge [to be retired]" under the scribbles on those setlists (most noticable on Brandon's picture) I guess Bleed It Out is going to get a revamp by the time we get to Soundwave. I hope they'll keep APFMH and Papercut out of the BIO bridge, and maybe debut something new in there
  24. minor point: the band name is "Static-X" so this should read "Static-X - Push It"
  25. will get round to it, should get something up here later today made some a while ago. my version is awful so I would welcome someone else's go at it not even going to upload it, so bad it's not worth it!
