  1. Dear god, please no... Also, yeah - "a hit single", "the band"
  2. Only 3 more days and we can finally put an end to all this speculation...
  3. Thanks, I'd forgotten half of the clues so I'd be a bit useless in that respect
  4. I've only seen them once, and I wasn't a LPLer back then, so I guess the whole thing was a surprise. getting to hear New Divide felt pretty damned special back then though. if anything, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked DBS, even if I thought they weren't really worth putting in the LP's encore...
  5. I would assume the promoters would use Wikipedia, not fan forums. but either way - neither band met fully in high school. can someone update the OP with the full list of "clues"? either way, anyone in the US might as well try and win tickets. you can either go see LP or sell them if we're all totally wrong
  6. it is not very polite to ask this question if the seller has not said it already. if someone is selling something they've spent a long time building up, then there will often be a good reason for it, leave it at that.
  7. a trade/sell thread could get messy quickly. with ebay you have legal coverage if someone mis-sells or deceives a buyer. we'd have a blood-bath on our hands if we had some sort of "LPL approved" section for that. people trade and sell here at their own risk.
  8. "first show in CA" and now, "West coast based" really? sigh...
  9. parts of the title sequence sound like variations on LITE. I might be making tenuous connections, but there are places where the melody would fit over the chords.
  10. do you think the documentary team filmed the whole show?
  11. yep. going to sit this one out, it's not too long until we find out for sure.
  12. they were getting shorter and shorter, it looked likely to happen - the "europe" 2011 one was only 4 dates! and yeah, as Ducko and SomedudeRemix said, I guess it's not economically viable, but on the other hand, the shed-load of big tours that go across the US now mean the band and their crew don't have to do it themselves, it's probably a bit less of a hassle and expense on their part to just say "yep, you do that stuff with accommodation, nation-wide promo and transport - we'll rehearse our songs and make sure our lighting looks pretty!"
  13. in all honesty, I only realised how to embed videos into posts by replying to other people who already knew how to, and seeing how they did the coding for that.
  14. that's because the code requires only the bit after the "...v=" section. the function doesn't take that into account for some reason. and the YouToob thing is a joke c.2008 regarding rappers...
  15. sweet. I figured you guys would have already thought of it, but still. I know that there are tour summaries for each year - maybe they could go there? but a whole page for all the various shirts would be cool too. it'd be nice to see everything in one place.
  16. who are you thinking of specifically? I don't know a lot about the support acts over the years
  17. include pictures of tour shirts on the show pages in a similar capacity to wristbands, tickets, tour promo etc. not sure how that would work since they're a tour shirt, but still, an idea.
  18. HA! true, but that doesn't change the fact that it's still not likely
  19. I can't see Black Keys playing under/with LP on tour.
  20. to be honest, it's looking highly likely right now...
  21. interesting, but still, seems rare to have the same band back again. most do it to keep the festival "fresh" haha, PR's don't count
  22. haha yeah, I'll take back what I said very true, it's a great way to force the band out on tour but still, having the same headliners two years back to back is strange. I know no other festival that has/would do that - apart from Sonisphere with Metallica, but this is across multiple countries so I think that's a bit different...
  23. really though? how much of HCT was sold out last year?
  24. I love the fact that this community is so "on it" that we can tell the exact show, hell, even the song they're playing on the basis of a photo. it's insane
