  1. nice longer episode. (although I still await the Pez verdict ) has that COG remix not been released yet? I'd love to hear the whole thing. other than that, NOTES: thought Chester would jump over that bin Mike does a better (but still bad) aussie accent than phoenix I have similar issues to Chester re: photo-sensitivity (and I live in the uk...) they look like they really enjoyed Aus/NZ - so props to the crowds that showed up for LP
  2. my thoughts exactly - it's plain odd that they haven't played any non-festival dates in europe after LT's release. also if they do come back to the UK I predict that yes, only england will get shows. they haven't played Cardiff, Edinburgh/Glasgow or Dublin/Belfast in ages...
  3. Somewhere not near me had 23 copies, but it is a bigger store
  4. yes, i agree with the others, it's nice that you're giving away something genuinely limited as a prize - good for the community
  5. in my town it was ~£20, not sure what that is in dollars it had sold out here (they had x3 copies) but i was too late, I was wandering around with about 5 other people trying to find my local RSD, so I had fun nevertheless
  6. I think AndOne can be forgiven for thinking the FB requirement was about page likes/publicity. most contests relating to social media are about this.
  7. Chester Bennington is left handed
  8. http://lplive.net/chesterbennington/1993xxxx.php "Now that whole area became the parking garage for U.S. Airways Center." the grammar here is a bit strange, "Now that whole area is..." or "now that whole area became..." would be better http://lplive.net/chesterbennington/19970315.phpwrong year date on the page: "Date: March 15, 2000 and Earlier" I can see how this mistake was made, I do stuff like this all the time the "and earlier" can also be removed if the show card in the pictures confirms the date!
  9. I think that's what Mark means. I had a friend from HK back in college who'd get all technical on your ass if you said he was "from China"
  10. haha true I would assume that it referred to their general conduct onstage, not just in the songs
  11. I hadn't really thought about the fact that some programmes would calculate run times differently but thank you for clearing this up, I was convinced that that wouldn't be a mistake in the guide and my files had something up with them
  12. ok. I'll leave it for now. this thread isn't a place for discussion anyway, so any further info/questions on this, I'll make a different thread somewhere else for it. I'm not hugely bothered if I do have different files, I'm just trying to check what I have against the guide - it seemed odd that the same source could have a different run time to what I expected. -- end of Koln '08 comparison discussion --
  13. I would assume that Mike said "Sorrow", but this is a just a guess. I'd need to see the clip

  15. if you totally ignore the words though, Given Up is a much more agressive sounding track than BIO (Victimised doesn't include swearing, but it's still a fucking violent sounding song!) . but I agree it's odd that Given Up was restricted and then allowed again in different years though. maybe different individuals were making the decision in the respective year, and it was up to their intuition?
  16. until Camp Freddy announces they'll be playing the event, no. Slash and Chester have played with Camp Freddy before, but tet are always listed as guests of the band, not the band itself
  17. my copy of Wake is 1 second longer. that's the only difference between your times and mine. so why on earth is my iTunes showing this up as being 87m56s!? particularly if my track times are longer than yours, and your version is showing up as being 8 seconds longer? seriously, I am so confused by that EDIT: no joke, this is what I see on my iTunes - https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hpho...965368343_n.jpg
  18. http://lplive.net/shows/20071022.php If chester did a singalong part in BIO, this should be included in the song notes in the setlist. on both the DSP and s1, the From The Inside intro sample seems to be working fine, why do the show notes say it was faulty? are we sure that the run time for source 1 at this show is 90m? because my version of source 1 is 94m 56s ... I'm downloading the whole FLAC now to check I don't have a mix of rips http://lplive.net/shows/20080116.phpcan we put the taper notes with the source they apply to? I know they are the same taper but, for example, which source had the mic slip? also "...opportunity tu use his..." <- spelling mistake http://lplive.net/shows/20080121.php we already have In Between debut mentioned in the "Debut" section, we don't need this fact mentioned in the "show notes" anymore also, what exactly was the nature of the "mess up" on In Between's outro? can someone confirm the run time of the DSP for me, because my copy is not 88m 8s but 87m 56s. I am 100% positive that none of my tracks are from a different source, but why is mine cut slightly? http://lplive.net/shows/20080629.php new supprt acts section mean we dont need the list of other bands that played the show in the "notes" section anymore. can we add in the workprint to the sources - "A0b", perhaps?
  19. if older DSPs were released in the same format as the current ones - paid service, web hosting - then I would guess not, they would be covered by the same "no links to anything bought on downloads.linkinpark.com" rule. if they were released publicly for free, then I think that'd be permitted on here. however I cannot imagine that they would be released without some sort of financial pre-requisite
  20. let's not be silly. China is not alone, Malaysia '03 for example - "There were strict regulations in place by the Malaysian government for this show. The band couldn't spit on stage, curse, throw things into the crowd, jump around violently, wear short pants, or scream excessively." yes it's not song censorship, but China is not the only place to have put restrictions on them
  21. haha true, I just like having weird CDs like this on my shelf. it really wasn't at all expensive to get
  22. on the subject of C. Bennington's show pages. on the shows where Chester performed with JK, is it possible to add in an extra "Back to Chester Bennington" link with the "Back to Julien-K" one? I know the database code might not allow that, but it'd be handy for lazy people (such as myself) to have that there
  23. there are two known versions of the LOATR demo. the "2nd" released on LPU9 but the version Mike plays in the Making of MTM has the line "the sun was still sinking, and after it'd gone...", which is missing in the version released on LPU9
  24. it seems funny now to think that the band left something off their CD with a view to only playing it live. these days it's the stuff they have on record that they refuse to play
  25. Strained relations between the US and China, yet you can see the band going to Seoul to play!? I am aware that SK isn't the problem, but still, that just made me giggle. Back on topic (I hardly think a show thread is the place to discuss international diplomacy) Yes, come on LP - keep the cool stuff in the set, but give us Powerless, *ahem*andsome2013DSPs*ahem*
