  1. maybe, but you could also have a few casual fans - cheap shows back then, supports for other bands, depends on the kind of show Mike was talking about. then again, look at our throwback broadcast - they were pretty quiet there too, all that way back.
  2. http://lplive.net/shows/20000905.php sold out show. Mike thanked the fans present for getting the band played on the radio (KROQ?) that day.
  3. ah yes, of course. I always forget about Collision Course and ATS+ is that all? I'm not asking with any real purpose, I'm just interested
  4. how many of the pro-shot videos (that we know about) were filmed specifically for use by the band? (i.e. for music videos/live releases etc., not just your usual TV broadcasts/webcasts) obviously, we have - Roxy 2000 (for use in OSC video, snippets in POA live video) Docklands 2001 (for unreleased live DVD) Houston 2003 (snippets, Live in Texas) Irving 2003 (snippets, Live in texas) EDIT: Roxy 2004 (Collision Course DVD) EDIT: Webster Hall 2007 (cinema showings) Milton Keynes 2008 (for RTR DVD) EDIT: Madrid 2010 (ATS+) Berlin 2012 (cinema showings) but are there any others?
  5. they would definitely take more time to talk back then, and I imagine that they would tune instruments in between songs (no guitar tech/fewer backup guitars). that would definitely fill up 30mins they don't need to do that now
  6. yes, Bristow VA has a particularly good audience shot, taken from right down in the pit. It's not a comp, but it is missing from the guide (probably because it has only ever been uploaded to youtube)
  7. Ok, there we go. Leave Anaheim off the list
  8. haha, I forgot to add the '/' I can't remember if it was comp or cellphone
  9. has filming finished for Mall? if not, then I'd say it'd be a 2014 thing - editing and promo takes ages even if filming is complete.
  10. Pori 2009 (finland) had a comp source, but the orignal upload is lost (megaupload), and I have certainly lost my copy since then. thread here - http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=7677&hl= Bangkok 2011 had a comp source too. it was also uploaded via megaupload and is therefore lost (or deleted by everyone who has the DSP ) thread here - http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=7828&hl= I think there was a comp cellphone rip (or some other crappy source) for Anaheim 2005 before the exclusive. I'm not sure if I still have it after everyone got the upgrade, and I'm on a device that doesn't have my whole iTunes library to hand. I'll get back to you on that one...
  11. with regards to RME, just going to leave this here -
  12. Exactly, but I'm not optimistic! Unless this is the thing we are all apparently going to go nuts over... Hmmm
  13. Call me cynical, I'm just used to being unsurprised Interested to see if we'll ever hear/see this "reggae" BID... It was probably some sort of one off joke, but still, it'd be funny to hear!
  14. BIO/RME as the only "we remember being Xero/HT" bit. I'm certain.
  15. eBay. By now, shops with stock will be trying to shift them - if they still have copies left now (months after RSD) stockists will reckon that the hardcore interest has faded. Buy from online stores or accounts that represent shops, you're more likely to get a better price than on auctions put up by the guy who bought 10 copies purely to make a profit... Mine is a legit, (previously) mint copy w/OSC 10", poster & sticker at 31.98GBP inc. shipping, which I would call a good deal seeing as I saw some go for £50+ around RSD time, some people even sold the 10" separately and were getting upwards of £20, ridiculous!
  16. Finally got my paws on the Hybrid Theory RSD vinyl package today
  17. man, I missed out, this looked fun! ^^ this would be cool...
  18. that hollowed-out effect used in the picture is a preset effect on MS Windows 7-onwards editions of Powerpoint/Word etc. I'm confident this is fake.
  19. ok, I stand corrected
  20. this is really a topic for the people in Red, not "everyone (including me!) submit your 2 cents" I was under the impression that we couldn't just take other people's photographs of posters or tickets and use them on the site without permission, but I admit that I may be totally incorrect on that. using photographs of live performances, taken by paid photographers without their consent is certainly off-limits. posters and tickets are designed to be seen and used by the public, and while it is true that ours is an 'educational'/encylopaedic website, is a personal photograph of a personal belonging (like an old stub or poster) different? at what point does the ticket or poster cease to be a public artifact? sorry, I'm rambling because I'm finding this weirdly interesting, but the only people who can answer this properly are the guys above me
  21. I'm sure we try not to submit others' images without consent, but i might be wrong. anyway, this is not a discussion thread ** back on topic**
  22. well, if it's next month, it's not long to wait. sit tight kids
  23. I really doubt anything new and/or exciting will happen at this. even if the promo and build-up has been pretty unusual and has thrown up some cool old memorabilia, I doubt we'll get somethng crazy cool from this performance. I will gladly be proved wrong, however.
  24. yes, I have this poster. I submitted a picture a while ago, but I don't think it was ever added to the guide. Also, i photographed it (my scanner is not big enough) so Skipees, your picture is probably more suited for the guide. sizing? I can't find the poster within my mountain of storage tubes but from what I remember, my version is between A4 - A3 size. it's an odd, slim size (I think), but It's certainly not what I would consider a 'flyer'. on another note, Skipees, are these your photographs of posters, tickets etc. yours? I seem to recall we can't upload images unless we have permission (they are submitted by the person who took them) due to copyright issues.
  25. yeah, I was having a laugh. like you say, I'm sure that the pissed off ones aren't a game-changing majority.
