They can't link it. If Mark says he has it, but the forum doesn't, then there's a reason. I hope that reason is that the official release is set to be announced. The instrumentals will be awesome of course, but I really want the acapellas as well.
Imagine how crazy it would be if, for one night only, they had an entirely new setlist full of their heavier tracks from all their albums.
There's no chance it'll happen, but still...we can imagine.
That BS intro was so bad live that I honestly wouldn't have been mad if they had just used playback for that part.
Either way though, I would personally rather see NCSM live when I see them later this summer.
That would be hilarious. I always kind of figured that the whole "lyrics first" thing wasn't the case for the entirety of the OML sessions though. Good Goodbye is a prime example of a song where I think Mike probably made a beat that he felt was cool, and decided to turn it into a full song.
That's terrible. I hope LP does find a way to reschedule the show instead of canceling it altogether. I know it would take coordination with the arena and the band, but as of now LP don't really seem to have anything scheduled for September.
The point of FM (and DBS for that matter) was to make music outside of LP's scope. If a FM comeback does happen, it would be pointless for Mike to make music that could easily be made by LP.
I think if you're going to charge someone $10k for footage, then they should be able to do whatever they want with it. That's an insanely high amount, and then to not even be able to share it??? No way.
I agree. They can't drop Numb or ITE because there are casuals who I'm sure may say "Hey, LP is playing. Let's go see that song live!"
I doubt there's nearly as many people who see New Divide as the selling point to buy tickets to their show.
The stars seem to be by the singles, or most popular songs from whatever album they're on. For example, there's a star by Heavy on OML, ITE on HT, Numb on Meteora, etc.
