  1. That's sad! R.I.P.! The X-Ecutioners are one of the few hip-hop groups that I really like. Especially their collabo with Mike Patton was insane!
  2. I can't believe people are comparing DBS with FM and almost get into an argument when the article is kinda announcing such an AWESOME thing as a DBS CLUB TOUR!!!!! That would be like the best thing ever! I really feared they would only play big venues with DBS but I just think the music really fits best to a club atmosphere. So that's damn awesome! I can't wait to hear the cover song and the acoustic tracks as well!! Great times ahead of us... Yay
  3. WOAH, if they really play the whole record, I envy all of you who can be there *laughs* Sometimes it REALLY sucks to live in Europe Let's hope someone will be able to record this, or it will be recorded professionally! Julien-K already played at Wasted Space in Las Vegas and the people who went there said that the sound and atmosphere was great, so I'm sure we can expect something extraordinary!
  4. Oh my God, this sounds awesome! Now I'm even more excited for the album *laughs* "Walking In Circles" really seems to be epic. A progressive rock solo, and also epic background vocals in the chorus (by Ryan?)? This sounds AWESOME! I'm also looking forward to "Inside Of Me," "Let Down" (OMG, another Amir solo *laughs*) and to that industrial-influenced song!! It's also really cool that they want to do acoustic versions of the songs. Maybe they'll release it as a kind of unplugged session that might also be aired on TV? That would be brilliant! Oh, and I can't wait for them to come back to Europe. I'm sure if they are playing a show in London, they are also gonna play one show here in Germany around the release of the album. Or maybe they will be performing at an MTV show or stuff. Anyway, I'm looking forward to anything by DBS that is to come, and I'm counting down the days to October 9th!
  5. Yeah, I actually thought Mark was maybe referring to the surprise that Amir is planning *laughs* However, as far as I remember Amir said on the JKMB that it might have something to do with JK, not with DBS!
  6. Yep, we already knew that I just wanted to stress the fact that Amir said that this was the FIRST show, so we should not expect any tour dates in Europe or the USA before that late October date!
  7. Amir confirmed on Twitter that the Ulalume show will in fact be the first full DBS show (Oct 23). This means there won't be any European tour dates or any other tour dates BEFORE that date. I have no idea if the Ulalume show will be the start of a US tour or if it's just the first single show, and after that they might be heading off to Europe! ... So I think we can expect tour dates for like November/December, but not until the end of October!
  8. I'm actually sure that "Let Down" is gonna be the next single! They planned on releasing it as the first single in Europe and then as second single in the US. The label then changed its decision and also released "Crawl Back In" in Europe first but I'm quite sure they will still go for "Let Down" as the next single both in the US and Europe!
  9. I think the Sonisphere one is the best so far! Rob's drums sound killer in it, and Chester actually sounds good
  10. I'm looking forward to seeing them here in Germany again soon!
  11. So will be band (or just Chester, probably) also be there for the listening session or is it just you fans who get to listen to the record and then write a review about it? I knew that when LP did that listening session once, the whole band was there and there was also an M&G!
  12. Amir actually replies a lot!
  13. Haha, and he still makes fun about his red hair that he had back then! That's awesome! Well, I must say I liked his colored hair back then a lot!
  14. Does anyone know if the appearance at the Austrian TV channel will be live?
  15. Hahaha, and Ryan used to have long dreads as well at some point In general: Chester + Ryan = most epic combo ever!
  16. Okay, right... Chester sounds horrible in the verses of "Shadow Of The Day," and Brad's guitar sounds horrible on "New Divide" *hahaha* I don't think the performance of these two songs was that good, but whatever! I really loved the "New Divide" version from Sonisphere Festival, though!
  17. How about tweeting one of the DBS guys about it?!
  18. Maybe it's a tribute to THE one and only Church!
  19. Yep, I thought so, too. But I already noticed these unnatural (mouth) movements in the videos for "New Divide" and "We Made It." He always deformed his mouth as if he was screaming constantly *hahaha*
  20. *lol* Mike's being a real tease but maybe he's just playing with all of us! Anyways, it would definitely be cool if they included some electronic influences. It doesn't have to be hardcore techno but some Julien-K influences would be awesome
  21. Seems like a professional marketing sheet. Ana, are you sure that you are allowed to post that here?? ^^ I mean, there are details on there that I'm sure the public should not know about. I have already seen one of these sheets before (not for DBS, though) and know what kind of a big deal it is for the labels. No offense to you at all, by the way, because you could have found it on a public site but I just wanted to state that disclosing these infos to the public might be a bit dangerous!
  22. There was definitely a track-by-track commentary for Meteora, done by Mike, as far as I remember. I need to look that up! It wasn't really about the lyrics' meanings, though, but more of a description of the sound and their musical development. EDIT: Okay, found it! That was easy... http://www.shoutweb.com/features/linkinpark0303.phtml
  23. Love the pics! "Amir of the desert!!!" *lol* (This quote might only be understandable for hardcore Orgy fans, though! )
