  1. Just type in "@phoenixlp" in the Twitter Search field, and then you will know
  2. My favorite moment was the live debut of DBS here in Europe, of course.
  3. DBS did not come out in Spring 2009 because the guys from Julien-K released their debut album at that time, and Chester always said that obligations with both their other bands always come first. I actually would have loved it if Julien-K played as support act for LP on the European tour and maybe the Epicenter show, and played like 5-6 songs. After that, Chester should have come out for the 3 DBS songs, just like they did at the Club Tattoo show in 2008. That would have been the ideal solution, I think, because then Julien-K also would have had the chance to present their main band to an European audience (which I'm sure would have either liked them or just ignored them, since it is a support act - but they wouldn't have booed, as they did when DBS came out as an encore) and they would not only have made the overseas trip to play 3 songs a night. To me, this short appearance every night sounded a bit ridiculous at first, to be honest.
  4. I totally agree with what you are saying. And I totally love the instrumental playing in the background - it's really kickass!
  5. There will be one in fall, probably just after the release of the album They announce it in that behind-the-scenes video at Sonisphere Festival.
  6. I'm a bit afraid about that, too, even though I'd be very interested in getting to know more about it. Another question that I can think of is: Chester has often stated in the past that he doesn't like the internet and is actually quite computer-illiterate, etc. I would be interested to know how he has changed his mind on that issue, because you all know he's now into Twitter as well etc. And in this connection: I mean, he has made bad experiences with a stalker before, and I find that his wife and him are very open on Twitter, and let fans get to know a lot about their private lives on that platform... So isn't he afraid of stalkers again while he is that open in the internet? (Maybe that question is also too touchy? I dunno! I'd just be interested in knowing!) And yeah, you should definitely ask about Club Tattoo and Ve'cel... Maybe if Club Tattoo is gonna expand even further in the future (maybe also to Europe??) and what the future holds for his clothing line. Another one: Why did DBS or the label abandon the idea to release "Let Down" as first single here in Europe? Because now they are going for CBI here as well! I'd also like to know in what kind of way he was involved in the production of the Julien-K debut. What he exactly did, etc. And please ask that one, if possible: Is it true that he is making a vocal appearance on the Brandon Belsky remix of Julien-K's song "Maestro"? Because to me, one can clearly hear him singing at some points in that remix! Maybe also a Camp Freddy question - if he will ever play with them again. And will there ever be a Bucket Of Weenies revival?
  7. Check it out here - it's funny stuff: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogPuoqZV2sg In it, they also basically confirm that they are gonna tour Europe after the release of the album.
  8. Now it is right And as far as I know, "Let Down" was supposed to be the first single here in Europe but now they are gonna go for "Crawl Back In" as well. We can even get CBI at iTunes now, so yeah, I think the label has changed its decision to release two different singles for the different continents.
  9. Umm, I'm gonna go for.... Chester!!
  10. Haha, nice
  11. Wow, there is hardly any show where he doesn't do that He's known for knocking over the mic stand, rubbing it, playing with it, smashing it against his forehead,...
  12. Hahaha, that's awesome that you thought the same I thought this comparison was quite weird but "My Suffering" was first played at the Club Tattoo Anniversary 2008, and by that time, I was listening to a lot of Iron Maiden--especially to their song "The Trooper." So yeah, when I heard that DBS song, I was like: "Am I crazy, or does this INDEED sound a bit like Iron Maiden?" *haha*
  13. That was really interesting - thanks for sharing I love the interconnection between music and art in general, and it's amazing how Mike is able to accomplish all those things and how he can really express himself as an artist in these different ways. I'm also really interested in the concept behind his two art shows, so I'd definitely be in for buying his book about it.
  14. I seriously think Chester should sing on Slash's upcoming solo album, at least in one or two songs. Slash brings in so many musicians, and I think he should consider Chester as well, since they are friends anyway.
  15. Yeah, I mean it's just natural that a musician is heavily inspired by other music as well. But being inspired doesn't mean that he/she starts copying something 1:1. And if something sounds alike, then yeah--these things happen. It's inevitable nowadays with these song masses, as I have stated before.
  16. Would be awesome if they had some more live collabos with other musicians again. I always LOVED what they did with Aaron Lewis, Chris Cornell, Jonathan Davis, Marky Chavez,... you name it! I'd also love it if they included their NIN or Deftones covers again but I doubt that this will ever happen again. The OSC Reanimation bridge really needs to make a return, though. I just love it, as well as the Reanimation intro for "Crawling."
  17. I really hope you will consider my Celldweller question then. I'm a huge Celldweller fan and that collabo song with Styles Of Beyond just kicked ass. I love how they are really open to mixing styles like rock, hiphop, and electronica together.
  18. And since most people use a certain kind of AdBlocker, I'm sure it also wouldn't bother them. They could just click the ads away *laughs*
  19. Couldn't agree more with what you said!!
  20. Then you could also say the intro riff of "3's and 7's" kinda sounds like Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit." It happens quite often that riffs are sounding similar. With the gigantic amount of songs that we now have in the world, it comes as no surprise that some parts of songs might sound similar or even the same.
  21. How did the Styles Of Beyond collabo with electronic rock artist Celldweller on the song "Shapeshifter" come about?
  22. But the length of a Metallica song is normally a lot longer than the length of an LP song, so I'm sure LP could play like 25 songs in the same time span that Metallica need for 21 songs.
  23. I'm gonna ask them right now who played it on the studio version
  24. Well, I think it is Amir who did the solo in the studio version since he was also the one who played the solo live!
  25. I just love this song! I already liked the live version but now I prefer the studio version even more. The production is ace in my opinion, and I like the raw vocals of Chester that are really different from what he is doing in LP. He's doing a great job, and in general this is a straight-forward rock song that might surprise a lot of LP fans. One can also definitely hear the JK influence, and I really like the riffs and the different layers and effects of the song. Now I'm gonna listen to it again and I'm even more looking forward to the album!! Oh, and I forgot to say that the guitar solo also rocks But it's from Amir, so yeah, this guy knows how to rock the guitar
