  1. Oh, no, I've tried to find proof that that one exists for like three years. Haven't found anything. I'm not convinced.
  2. Of Pictureboard? No, you haven't.
  3. Is this topic really necessary...? Also, whatever that thing is after Pictureboard is straight up wrong. We haven't heard a single second of it, as far as I know.
  4. Hahninator, do you think you'd be able to zip up whatever you're allowed to share (I'm pretty sure TRF said their whole discography is fair game, right?) and either post it here or send it to me? I lost most of my music a while back and this stuff has been eluding me for a while.
  5. Oh hey, I remember this. It's a shame he hasn't used soundcloud in forever.
  6. That sounded pretty damn good to me. I liked the camera work, particularly at the end when the four of them were singing.
  7. Asbestos sounds like it was completely done by Mike but just not shared, or maybe only shared once or twice, hence why Brad might not have heard it. Or, he performed the riff, and Mike took it and put it into a different song without showing the rest of the band. The notes weren't hugely insightful, but that's not really a big deal.
  8. I think we'll see a better DBS next time, if the new album rumors come true anytime soon. Perhaps the promotional issues were because DBS released an album during mere downtime for LP, as opposed to essentially a full-blown hiatus back in '05. That was also during the disputes with Warner, wasn't it? Makes sense that Warner would allow more visibility for Fort Minor, while suffocating DBS by not promoting them at all.
  9. Good luck kid, we talked to Mike about it a couple years ago and the track just isn't there. They're exactly the same. The nine tracks Mike posted were composed entirely by Mike. Lil' Jon composed his own tracks.
  10. Was DBS less successful because the music wasn't as good, or because Warner Bros. essentially refused to promote it? They didn't even tour in the U.S., I don't think an American band should expect any sort of success if they're not even fucking touring their home country on their first go-around as a band. Sorry, that just irked me a bit.
  11. I hope this doesn't turn into another Pictureboard thing. Bruiser would be cool to have, but it really just sounds like yet another "vocal song with no vocals" like half the shit we get in the LPU CDs.
  12. This thread is speaking purely in a hypothetical sense because in all honesty Mike will probably be the one to say "fuck this" further on down the road, and you should feel like a tool for making pointless post like this one. I'm gonna stand by my statement of "if Chester or Mike go, the band's done" simply because it's easy to replace members at the pre-success level, but there are bigger risks that come with replacing an integral member of a band after you've become nearly a household name.
  13. I doubt Mark would want to come back and be the replacement for the guy that replaced him.
  14. Linkin Park would be over, end of story. Chester and Mike are the two main draws for the band, and if either of them leave, the band's history. I feel like the band would dissolve if any of them left, honestly. It'd be a good excuse for Mike to move to solo work (not saying it'd be Fort Minor) or something.
  15. Don't bank on multiple pressings of this. I highly doubt 3000 people are even going to buy the thing.
  16. Ah, alright. Thanks for the clarification.
  17. I've always been curious as to how these get out of the band's hands in the first place. Could someone shed some light on that?
  18. Isn't it just going to be a little bit of performance footage mixed in with footage of families working through their lives with no electricity? That's not much of a music video, that's more of an educational video set to POWERLESS. Which I feel is pretty tacky, using that song of all things.
  19. The censoring seemed to run along the lines of when LP brought explicit lyrics back to their music. With the exception of LPU7 and MMM COOKIES, every release after MTM has been uncensored. Similarly, every official release prior to MTM was censored, with the obvious exception of Collision Course (good luck censoring that).
  20. I don't understand the appeal of listening to tons of shows anyway. I only have copies of shows I've been to, which, in the case of LP, is exactly one. Video of any given show, however, is a completely different matter.
  21. If they were individually numbered I'd be all over that shit.
  22. Or maybe Mike just sucks at dating songs so he gives them arbitrary, meaningless dates.
  23. That thing looks nice, man. Do you mind posting pictures of the outer sleeve? What else came with the vinyl?
  24. It's not boring to the hundreds of thousands of fans that have been waiting for a real US tour. The vast majority of us don't give a shit about what the crowd's like, we want to see one of our favorite bands in concert.
  25. They'd better tour the states next year. Honda Civic Tour was bullshit.
