  1. I don't know what you guys expected from a festival crowd that had just sat through Taylor Swift. They were guaranteed to be a dead, bad crowd. No way around that. Also, I wasn't feeling this performance at all. There were a lot of errors, Chester sounded like shit more often than not, and the energy wasn't really there. But, again, this was a 35-minute festival set. So whatever. That shit about Billie Joe, man...puts a mega damper on his freakout.
  2. oh wow I don't even know what I was posting I hope we get something interesting from this show.
  3. Just a little bit of time though, better hurry up
  4. Shit, that wouldn't be creative at all. I feel like they'll have singles interspersed with a couple rarities and covers or some shit.
  5. I'm pretty sure with a radio-friendly giant like LP that would never happen. We'll always know when they're writing for a new album, when they're doing it.
  6. Oh shit. That's a really useful resource. Thanks, Hahninator.
  7. The versions of both songs on the Studio Final are sufficiently different, aren't they? I can't remember off the top of my head.
  8. The way I have them ordered is this: - Hybridtheory.com Demos - 9-Track "Demos" CD - 8-Track She Couldn't CD - 7-Track She Couldn't Omitted CD - 2-Track Demo - May 8th 99X CD - Plaster Mix 1 of 4 - Studio Finals - Ozzfest 2000 - Raw Power (? I don't have this one so I don't know what it sounds like) And of course the Xero demo and HTEP go before all of those. I have no idea if this is even remotely right, but it's what I'm going with.
  9. That could be true, too. If the Studio Final disc was internal-only, and had just been pressed the day before, the label probably wouldn't have wanted to send those out to a local radio station so early, so they put together a disc of earlier demos on May 8th and sent that out instead. It just bothers me because I organize the demos by the dates printed on the cases, so the Studio Final is sitting above this 6-track. Oh well. Doesn't matter too much. It's interesting that With You didn't appear to have an actual name at the time, considering "Dust Brothers" wouldn't really work as a song title.
  10. Wait, hold up. This demo is marked May 8th, 2000, and it's obvious that the songs are still works in progress. But wasn't that 12-track Studio Final disc marked May 7, 2000? Unless the 5/7/00 actually meant July 5th. I dunno. Can someone help me out here? In any case the demos are pretty cool. That Papercut ending was weird though.
  11. Maybe with these people will be able to actually make interesting remixes that aren't of BID.
  12. Eh, I thought it was an interesting idea. The storyline was really really vague, though. I didn't really get it whatsoever.
  13. Finally people can stop asking about this. I've been wanting to know for months, too.
  14. Oh awesome, cool shit. We're probably going to get MTM-era stuff for the rest of LP's career because there was so much shit for them to pull from.
  15. Personally I'd love for some more pre-HT demos that we haven't heard. There are obviously more than we thought in the vault, and if they're interesting like Slip and Blue were I'd love to hear them. I dunno how many LT demos there even are considering how short the cycle was this time around.
  16. That damn intro, holy shit. They really know how to make a song sound good. I dunno how long Chester can do those screams on this tour, they're pretty damn intense.
  17. Oh come on I literally posted this right before you did. The balance of demos has never been equal like that.
  18. Mike tweeted earlier that we're getting ten "never-before-heard" demos this time around. That hasn't necessarily been the case the past few go-arounds, but one can always hope.
  19. Was there any mention as to why LP cut two of the songs in half? Great set otherwise.
  20. Thanks for the post. Thank God there will be other remixes besides BURN IT fucking DOWN. I'm already sick of that song. Interested about LPU12, it better be a good one.
  21. Oh great, another fucking remix of BURN IT DOWN. This wasn't even a good one, either. Paul Van Dyk's winning so far. At least he made it interesting.
  22. Am I the only one here who thinks it's a shitty remix? Adam Young just isn't a good musician.
  23. If they're using it as an incentive to buy the PC then it's not going to show up on LPU12, I bet. It'd be nice, though.
  24. If LP goes back to those worthless live LPU releases then I won't bother with it.
  25. I only shuffle my Mike playlist. I like having an order to my music.
