  1. He mentioned drugs, lying, cheating, and other things. I'd say those are all pretty good reasons to get off the road.
  2. I'm about halfway through the album.
  3. How should we go about discussing the songs, AndOne? I'm not trying to be snarky, I'm just curious. Are there spoiler tags here? My copy's downloading now. This is the first time I've legitimately bought the LPU CD since 2009.
  4. They might've just been loading up stuff in the background in preparation for the switch.
  5. Probably gonna be two ATS demos. We only got one last time around, and the album cycle has since passed, so LP will probably start using ATS demos in the LPU releases.
  6. Memberships are 12-month deals. I joined LPU11 in March; my membership, then, should last through to next March.
  7. That could mean that those eight songs are songs we haven't heard a single second of, while the other two (? there are going to be ten tracks, right?) are demos of songs we've already heard.
  8. It's funny because of all the things wrong with that post, the one that upsets me the most is that QWERTY is in there.
  9. Are you guys forgetting that South Africa is different from stereotypical "tribal" Africa? WTCFM should've been played because it's a good live song, not because it has a "tribal" feel.
  10. DBS and Julien-K are two sides of the same coin, so I'd say any lineup changes for one half would be reflected on the other.
  11. No, LP learned their lesson about what the fans want from the LPU CDs, I think. They're probably going to be demo releases until they either run out of demos or the fan club folds.
  12. August? Really? I think Chester was spewing out hot air in that interview; he himself said he doesn't give a shit about the singles, that he doesn't do any of the picking (he'd probably choose VICTIMIZED or some shit). I dunno, man.
  13. How long ago was that?
  14. "Overproduced a bit" is an enormous understatement, and Ryan understated it in the interview, too. That album's production was some of the worst shit I'd ever heard. I could honestly care less about another DBS album. I know people here are sick of hearing about DBS v. FM comparisons (especially because they're not even in the same genre), but I greatly enjoy Mike's non-LP work, much more than I enjoy anything Chester has done outside of LP.
  15. I doubt we'll be getting an international release for Powerless. Blue_Spring said that AL:VH just now was released in Japan, so the single is likely just another stage of the tie-in for that film. I'm still leaning towards IN MY REMAINS as the next single release. But I do love getting more single artwork, and goddamn that is a good cover.
  16. Awesome. If that's intended as the release/start date for LPU12, we should be getting a tracklist this week, in theory.
  17. How old is that info? Whoa, I hit 1000 posts here. Nice.
  18. Yeah, that was probably my favorite one so far.
  19. How many more are we getting? Two or three? I think the pre-order said eight months of songs, so that should equal out to nine tracks (because of the two-track one last month.)
  20. I'd prefer for last year DBS show to be released as opposed to this performance, really. But either one would certainly be nice.
  21. Exactly. Like, the only reason half the forum is foaming at the mouth to hear the song is because it's attained this "legendary" status because we haven't heard it ever and the name's been known for over ten years. If the song was amazing, we would've heard it by now. But it clearly isn't/wasn't, so what's the point anymore?
  22. All the songs that I like. Anything that's not a single always runs the risk of being on the chopping block. I'm pretty sure the vast majority of ATS is never going to surface again, either, with the exception of Iridescent (full version), The Catalyst once or twice, and When They Come for Me (it's sufficiently heavy IMO).
  23. You're like my favorite person on this forum right now, kid.
  24. I still cringe sometimes listening to Hybrid Theory. Now that that's out of the way, I'd say my favorite song from the album is Pushing Me Away. No real reason why. The piano version is a beautiful arrangement live. High Voltage really should've been on the album, though. If it had been, that would take the number 1 spot in an instant. Live, I'd say that the 2012 arrangement of APFMH is my favorite right now.
