Good fuckin' luck to you guys trying to get it on RSD. I always hear horror stories about trying to get RSD exclusives, stories like people grabbing records right out of eachother's hands, cutting in line, threats... I'm going to go spectate at my local store that day but I sure as hell am not going to try and buy anything.

I don't know if this has already been brought up before, but has anyone considered creating a buy/sell/trade thread? Going through eBay is a little frustrating at times.

What's surprising is how long that page has been active. Did you guys see the Valentine's Day post? It's like whoever runs this shit isn't even trying to make it seem real.

There's probably a lot of reasons involved - declining sales, the difficulties of organizing such a large scale multi-act tour...plus, they reached a point where touring under any name besides their own didn't bring in enough money to justify the increased production costs. I guess.

Two bucks is a pretty awesome deal for a promo vinyl. It might not be worth an incredible amount, but you could still make some decent money if you ever decided to sell it.

Well then, that's refreshing to know, that we're essentially done. Anything you guys want added to the main post? I should probably throw the audio download of the show in there soon.

The lack of a tour for the next few months wasn't entirely unexpected, but this entire cycle has been pretty disappointing. I really hope that soundtrack makes up for it.

Very, very nice. Just got done watching it, tracklist is accurate. I'll add a link to the main post, and if anyone wants to rip the audio then go ahead. EDIT: YouTube link added to the main post, also linked to Energy's post for the tracklist. The band mentions that they're selling a sampler of music recorded in December - perhaps that's the January EP, which I think would be enough to consider it an official release. Unless that was the fan-made sampler, in which case we already have it. Hm. Another mystery, I suppose.

Chester probably completely forgot about this one. He only did it because Warner was being a bitch about letting Jonathan Davis sing on it. He probably recorded it in a couple hours and left.

The song was interesting, but I certainly wouldn't have wanted to hear a whole album similar to this. Maybe a four-track EP for experimental purposes.

Wasn't DBS supposed to be him, Ryan, and Amir working together on his solo material? I thought that was the entire point of the thing. That was why Brandon and Elias (and Fu to a lesser extent) were basically treated as hired help for the tour.

Can't fault the guy for actually putting the topic in the right place. That fan survey has almost nothing to do with the live show, so it shouldn't be in the live forum.

Some of the questions were interesting - asking about a new Fort Minor album, new DBS, Mall (I guess there's further confirmation it's still being worked on), etc. If I win the skate deck I probably won't keep it, I'll sell it or something.

It's both. The HT vinyl is for RSD, the reports in the original post just conveniently neglect to mention that. That's what I gathered, anyway.

It was initially reported that HT would be the Record Store Day release, but now it seems that's either no longer the plan or never was in the first place. Hm. I'm not going to bother with this anymore. The full album + this single would be worth it; otherwise, nope. Got other shit I'm hoping for on RSD.

Which chat was it? I'm shocked the forum's not fucking blowing up right now. As long as he doesn't choose shitty artists to feature on it (not that he did last time, just as a general thing) then I don't really care what it sounds like. It'll probably outclass whatever LP puts out before it.
