I think LITE is one of the better songs from LT, but the problem is that LT overall is some pretty weak shit, a year removed from its release.

Oh man, I love this topic! No, wait, I meant this one. ;D (I'm just messing around; that topic got buried a few pages back, it's understandable that you didn't see it.) I'd use that same list from the old topic, except I'd swap out Iridescent for UNTIL IT BREAKS, and this is why: LP showed that they could break their usual verse-chorus-verse format with The Little Things Give You Away, and then again with A Thousand Suns's general format, but UNTIL IT BREAKS is definitely the band's most experimental track to date, owing to the fact that it was cut together from three different demos. The rapid shifts in tone elicit visuals of a battle between Chester and Mike; Mike is throwing down a sick FM-esque verse, and Chester cuts right in with a smooth, piano-driven hook, only to be forced out of the way with an even more fierce verse from Mike. And then, both of them give way to, not Brad's guitar, but his voice - surprisingly soothing and even, bringing the song to a quiet, fulfilling close. UIB gets a lot of shit from people on LPL, but it's definitely my favorite track from LIVING THINGS, and I'd even go so far as to put it in my top 5.

Okay, it was funny to make fun of Doug on the forum, but actually tweeting that he was fucking up the live stream is a huge no-no and makes us look like a bunch of entitled fucking children. Again, that stream was not for us to watch. It was the live feed for assembling a news package that'll probably air tomorrow, or as bumpers for some sort of broadcast of the show. The guy was doing his job as a reporter, and tweeting at him to get the fuck out is childish and fucking stupid. You want to know why people characterize LP fans as stupid teenagers? This right here is why. Leave the guy alone. The way he addressed the messages was also surprisingly professional, especially because he was probably like "fuck these stupid assholes" in real life. That's how I'd be, anyway.

Well, that's the end of the Doug Stream I guess. Man, this was just as fun as the Roxy show stream earlier today.

All inconvenience aside, this is a pretty cool glimpse into how news packages are put together. I don't think I've seen a news station make this sort of uncut feed available before. Doug's gonna be an LPL in-joke after this, though, I can feel it. "How's my package?" Lookin' good.

This stream is pretty obviously not meant for continuous watching. It sort of feels like we're seeing an unedited feed that's meant to be cut to when he starts talking, as part of some sort of other news cast. Honestly, I don't know why this is available for public viewing.

Every time I see "with Chester Bennington" it annoys the shit out of me. These are practically the same (essentially inaccessible) places that NIN is hitting in October, and I'm much less enthusiastic about seeing STP live, so that's a no-go.

Usually I'd wait until new music or artwork popped up somewhere, but I highly doubt we're going to get either of those, because we already have full scans of Demonstrate and Stereo. A complete set of lyrics would be an interesting project. If someone did it, I'd add it to the archive because that's a lot of work to go unrecognized for.
