  1. The Making Of deal is most likely to entice overseas buyers to buy locally as opposed to importing, especially in Japan, because the local prices are fucking insane. I see that they's completely given in to not calling Chester a full member of STP. Fucking Scott Weiland, this is entirely his fault. Jackass. Hopefully this EP will sell well. I'll probably buy the digital version.
  2. Shit happens. I'm sure we'll get a hilarious response from Mike soon. That is, if he even notices this "story."
  3. I'd say the five studio albums, the HTEP, the Xero demo, and maybe one of the two live albums in full, and then put together a playlist containing the songs you like, and sync that to the phone instead, so you don't have to deal with tracks you don't like. Or, you could just do the playlist for everything, so you can pick and choose from the main releases. That's what I do for my phone.
  4. The only reason people are so rabid for it is because it was played live more than once, and it's one of the better remixes from Reanimation. You don't see people begging for H! Vltg3 to be played live.
  5. And they both disappeared and re-debuted in the same shows.
  6. To you guys thinking all this bitching is new, or detrimental to the fanbase: It ain't. You guys should see what's going on in the NIN camp right now. You think you know bitching about new music? Ain't seen shit until you delve into Echoing the Sound for more than three seconds. Everyone's entitled to complain about the direction they think LP might be going in, even if their opinion is based on worthless speculation or interviews with random DJs. The fact is that we won't know what's going on until Mike, or Chester, or fucking Phoenix says something. And even then, well, in Mike's words, "we have no idea what we're talking about." Is the next album gonna be EDM-influenced? Maybe. Certainly wouldn't be new for LP to try out newer trends. Is ALTNC an indicator of what's coming for album six? Probably not, just like We Made It wasn't an indicator of ATS, just like QWERTY wasn't an indicator of MTM. But, you know, there's no need to shit in your hand and then throw it at other people, nor is there any need to ask people to stop, or challenge whether they're actual die-hards or not. Let 'em bitch, right up until they turn into a gigantic dick. That's when you lay the smack down on someone's opinion. Compared to the NIN fans right now, you guys are a sea of tranquility. Trust me. EDIT: Shit, this topic's in the Newswire. I thought it was in Got News. This is more exposure than I wanted for this post.
  7. I'm pretty sure that was Korn, from that covers album that never appeared.
  8. It's not that hard to make a song better than Hit the Floor. LP has done it...let's say two hundred times. Song sounds alright. We'll see in a couple weeks.
  9. You're god damn right it is. BITCHING © FINAL DESTINY EDM? More like erectile dysfunction music. Bam. Complaints over.
  10. Well, keep in mind that as much as LP says they do everything for themselves and for nobody else (especially considering their declining record sales the past few years), there's got to be some part of them that hates the box that critics have put them into for thirteen years. That's got to piss you off, doesn't it? MTM comes out, "Oh look, they're trying ballads, still teenage garbage." ATS comes out, "Oh, you're Pink Floyd now? Fuck off. Trash." LT comes out, "Ah, there we go, run on back to nu-metal." Surely it grates on them - so when they start moving in a new direction, Mike or Chester or Brad or someone probably says, "What will they think of this, eh?" And that's not the sole motivation, of course, but it still factors in. That could be sourced way back to MTM, where they intentionally did a 180 musically because they didn't want to be stuck in that box that HT and Meteora put them in. But, naturally, it was too late by then. They're never going to escape the stigma of being a nu-metal band for six years. By the way, this topic got fucking intense. You guys are mad serious about this stuff. Not that that's a bad thing, it just doesn't happen here all that often any more.
  11. Well, that's to be expected at a crowd going to a Weiland solo show. The fact that he and his band encouraged it, though, that's pretty two faced coming from a guy who made it seem like he didn't care what Chester did.
  12. I don't know where the hell either of you popped up from, but you've certainly made the forum more enjoyable.
  13. A-fucking-men. Those fucking nu-metal fanboys can go straight back to 1998, specifically the one week when nu-metal was cool.
  14. Oh, I like this 2 per album idea. A Place for My Head Pushing Me Away Somewhere I Belong Nobody's Listening Valentine's Day The Little Things Give You Away Burning in the Skies Iridescent VICTIMIZED UNTIL IT BREAKS
  15. Yo, if they release a Collision Course-like collaborative EP, I'll buy that fucker in an instant.
  16. Whoa guys, no need to start slinging mud at each other. Damn. It's just a non-album collaboration.
  17. Whoa shit, that's the whole song. Nice. And the third verse is a lot clearer in this one.
  18. I don't know how any of you people could vote for anything before LPU 3 and 7. Fuck those EPs. Don't Stay, LPU 3.
  19. You know, with the quality of the rips we have now, it kind of sounds like Chester's saying "I jizz my soul." That's a bit of oversharing, Chester.
  20. Ooh, looks like that first video was missing the first verse. Awesome. Even though Chester sounds off-pitch, his parts are still pretty good.
  21. Down as in it's being updated, or down as in too many people are playing it trying to see if the song is actually in it now? After a few listens, the track still sounds pretty good. I can't wait to actually hear what Mike is saying in that second verse.
  22. God damn. That sounds awesome. It's also pretty cool to see how much fun Mike was having. Dude practically jumped into the crowd.
  23. That shit sounds fucking incredible. And to think that when I went to bed people were already disappointed that the setlist was going to be a standard one. EDIT: Oops, talked out of my ass again. Didn't know that they played during Steve Aoki's set, not the other way around.
  24. The drums for The Little Things Give You Away. That pattern is sick.
  25. Nah, Chester would've wrecked that song, in a very bad way.
