  1. Aw yeah, Ballad Medley continues to live on. Suck it haters.
  2. I hope it's as close to the studio versions as they can get. Those are always the best full-album shows - makes it a real spectacle.
  3. Maybe that means that Daron subbed in his version of whatever they'd written, but that he didn't want to radically change or add anything else.
  4. No way they change the order of the album tracklist. Absolutely not. That's a terrible idea. They'll just play one or two typical set closers to keep the momentum going. Or maybe they won't. Ending a set with the album version of PMA seems like it would be pretty cool, with the lights going off as the last little synth noise plays.
  5. I was always under the impression that when they said they'd play the album in full, that it would be cover to cover in order, not scattered throughout the set. Doing the latter would be quite a huge copout, IMO, because when you hear "playing an album in full" you usually think it's going to be all together, in order.
  6. It'd be pretty cool if they just go straight into Papercut and play the whole album with no warning, after a few songs to open the show.
  7. Wow, the site looks great. Much more modern feel to it. It'll be fun to poke around and see all the new/re-organized content. And finally, thank God, a central downloads page.
  8. Oooh, I like the idea of listing them in order. 1. A Thousand Suns 2. Minutes to Midnight 3. Hybrid Theory 4. Meteora 5. LIVING THINGS
  9. It's fascinating how well ATS is doing. I never really thought ATS was so popular here - not that it's shit on or anything, but I just feel like there would be a much heavier slant towards HT / Meteora, with MTM close behind.
  10. That preview was really cool to see. I hope we get more of that, the LPTV-style glimpses into the process.
  11. ATS, definitely. That album is the best cover-to-cover album they've ever done, and I loved the direction it took.
  12. No, no. I was thinking more like the songs from the 9-track demo, or 8-track demo (ones that can actually be released, meaning NOT She Couldn't). Maybe even the Chris Williams sampler. The In the End demo is identical to all the old versions of it except it doesn't sound like shit and has a random bass note, though, right? Same for Points of Authority - it's the 8-track version or something. I forgot that Esaul is the 1999 rehearsal lyrics one, not the 9-track. Oops. Maybe I actually just have no idea what I'm talking about. Oh well.
  13. I remember 17 being thrown around quite a bit before the album came out, but I don't know what the candidates for those last five (six?) tracks would be. I remember that being a popular topic here for a long time. It's interesting how Wake isn't counted in that list.

    ATS Sucks Live?

Wow, where the fuck was I for that? Must not have left a huge impression on me.

    ATS Sucks Live?

I think a lot of it is contextual. The Catalyst never really sounded all that great in a live setting to me, but I think Iridescent and Waiting for the End both sounded great, especially Iridescent. WTCFM is, of course, a monster (as was Blackout) and The Messenger sounded fine because Chester realized that the album take was fucking awful. Wretches and Kings was a decent show opener, too. Was Burning in the Skies ever done live? I can't imagine that would ever be good in a live setting. I have a particular love for the live version of The Radiance, because Mike's vocals always sounded so great with the effect on them. The album, though, is really dependent on existing as a studio piece overall, though, and I completely understood dropping most of its tracks after the ATS tour.
  16. Oh wow, really? That's pretty cool.
  17. I think it would be cool if one spot on each LPU album was dedicated to replacing the leaked demos with high-quality versions, like the Untitled and Esaul demos from LPU 11 and POA from LPU 12.
  18. ATS+ calls it The Radiance.
  19. I never knew there was an index for all those guides - that's the real LP wiki right there.
  20. Alright, cool. I had a feeling, but I figured I'd throw it up here to confirm. And, considering you're the one confirming, it's pretty much case closed for me. It's a shame, too - wikis can be really valuable tools, but if they get off on the wrong foot it becomes incredibly difficult to redeem them.
