LPFreak64 Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 I keep throwing my credit card at the screen, but I still don't have the new album.... Quote
Mohnaryl Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 Damn. I wanna hear "Castle Of Glass" right now. Awesome Quote
hahninator Posted April 12, 2012 Author Posted April 12, 2012 I keep throwing my credit card at the screen, but I still don't have the new album.... Ready to be victim to the 2012 Atlanta plot twist? Quote
DogFan_LP Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 Awesome! Haha When I read: "tribal drums", I thought about "When They Come For Me". Quote
LinkinMark Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 Didn't really want or expect a collab on this album and I'm glad it's only strings Anyway, this is a great article! I can't wait for Monday and, more importatly, June! Quote
Borellus Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 This article definitely got me super stoked for this album. I can't wait to see how it turns out, leaving the ATS era behind. Lost In The Echo and In My Remains sound sick. Quote
nikolajlaulp Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 Fap Fap Fap Fap.... Shit this is awesome, sounds like some of the best shit ever Quote
LinkinParkHotspur Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 Unlike ATS (where I had little to no expectations on how good the album would be or how it would sound), I actually do have an expectation for this album. And my expectation for this album is that it's going to kick ass. The more I hear about this album and the more I don't hear (the lack of information we've had), the more excited I get. In some ways, the lack of information up till this point has increased my excitement. I know it's done the opposite for most people because they don't have anything to get excited for. For me though, knowing less is sometimes more exciting. It's exciting because it means (at least in my mind) that the possibilities are still endless and it could sound like anything. Not sure if I ever felt that way with ATS (due to the type of album it was among other things). Now that we're getting some more solid information though, my excitement is still very high and I still feel like this album could go in many different directions, all of which are good ones. I haven't really heard one thing yet that makes me worry. Quote
lgr Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 Awesome! Haha When I read: "tribal drums", I thought about "When They Come For Me". snap. absolutely, snap! Quote
FearOfTheDuck Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 OH MY GOD THIS HAS GOT ME SO PUMPED! Lost in the Echo sounds absolutely amazing. When I get this album I'm gonna be blasting it on repeat for weeks. Quote
danielpsoad-09 Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 This sounds awesome! Can't fuckin wait! By the way, the lyrics posted on this article confirms (if some people were still doubting) that the Burn It Down leak was legit. Quote
splitmyDNA Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 Wow this sounds amazing. Let's hope it's a worthy successor to Meteora - MTM & ATS just didn't quite get there. This sounds EPIC. WANT to hear Castle of Glass... Quote
Qwerty18 Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 Seriously, I think I have never been that excited for a new LP record since I'm following the band, around pre-MTM era. All of what has been said so far regarding the new record (more up-tempo, mixing old and new, heavier electronic elements....and the descriptions of 5 songs right here) have really got me pumped. Can't wait !! Quote
MONDREUS240 Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 I have a feeling that this is going to be LP's return to mainstream audiences. Kind of like their "comeback album" in terms of popularity and sales. ATS only went gold in the U.S., and it was not as popular with the casual fans, even though it's songs were deeper, more complex, and better written musically and lyrically. Quote
GraDoN Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 im a big fan of arcade fire so the collab, although unexpected, sounds AWESOME Quote
maik_gianino Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 Castle Of Glass, i will cry with this song for sure xD Looking forward with this new album... looks like LP looks like esteban did a good job in less time than the spected... Quote

Kind of like their "comeback album" in terms of popularity and sales.Yep, I had the same feeling some days ago. And this feeling was empowered by the poor quality leak and the super-catchy chorus in it. Guess it's good news for LP if it turns to be true Quote

lakersfan13 Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 ATS was a failure. I welcome more LP music to wash that bad taste out of my mouth. That's unfortunate. I wasn't really ready for the changes at first and didn't appreciate the album much, but it's my favorite now. Just one man's opinion though. Quote
