I know that when it launched in 2012, there were a bunch of demos included, like Chicken Basket. Apparently, a demo from the MTM Era entitled ''Episodes'' (as seen on the making of MTM as well) was released alongside a bunch of other demos or seeds or whatever you call them. Has anyone ever put this track together? If so, is it possible to be shared here? "Wednesday Was A Good Day" was a parody of Ice Cube's "It Was A Good Day" created by Jawbone (american technology company). It was part of their campaign for the JAMBOX Bluetooth Speaker. The concept of the video is described in their YouTube channel: What would happen if Ice Cube's "Today was a Good Day" was fast forwarded 18 years later and set in a modern-day start-up? ...in a world with no pagers or drop top convertibles, just Foursquare check-ins and beach cruisers. You're about to find out. Basically, Mike Shinoda watched the video and liked it but decided to add a few more elements from Ice Cube's original song to their song. It sounds like a board mix from a studio session where the engineer was randomly muting/soloing various tracks during playback to check on levels and the overall quality of individual performances. I'm working on a minor in music production alongside my guitar degree right now, and this literally sounds exactly like what I do at the board while playing back mixes before making decisions on whether to re-record anything or not. There are no currently circulating stems for these demos, and quite frankly, I can't imagine any reason something like this would exist...but there's no way FOR anything like this to exist without someone having access to the stems in the first place either. The version you're talking about comes from the 9-track demo CD from February 11, 2000: http://lplive.net/downloads.php Thankyou, that must annoy you guys that the majority of people are going to live their life thinking that it's called "Under Attack" i just wanted to know what it's name was because there is a clip i have of Mike's whisper stems from that demo but it i think the echo's are different http://picosong.com/Ts38/ And i read all of the details on those Demo releases and gotta say i like how you guys gave such a good description for it all.
