sckofelng Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 (edited) As I read this some minutes ago, I was just shocked. Roc Raida from the X-Ecutioners died this morning at the age of 37. Roc Raida took part on , an incredible collaboration with LP.Many can also remember him by the album Rock Phenomenon hosted by Mike Shinoda. We all feel with his family and friends and wish the best for them! Busta Rhymes on this Mike posted something on his blog about this too, with his thoughts and prayers going to his family. R.I.P. Grandmaster Roc Raida, we all love you! Edited September 20, 2009 by AndOne Quote
LPPRJKT4 Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 OMG!!! It's Going Down was one of my fav live songs, the X-Ecutioners were one of the few rap groups I could listen to, this is a tragedy.. Quote
DrSeus Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 X-Ecutioners and It's Goin Down were horrible but it's always very sad to hear of someone dying so young...RIP. Quote
LPKode2 Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 (edited) I don't believe this , this is sad X-Ecutioners collaborating with LP on "It's Goin' Down" was classic, i remember listening to it for the first time when it first came out & thinkin this is it was total dope lol. Was really sweet & interesting for them to collab with almost anybody n everybody on their albums, the music that they did was amazin...but "It's Goin' Down" always stood out to me cause it had two of my fav most talented artist collab on one great track that was awsome to hear live. DJ Roc Raida, talented DJ & turntablest R.I.P. Edited September 20, 2009 by LPKode2 Quote

MarathonMan Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Gawd dammit. It always seems to be the odd years where the good ppl pass away. R.I.P. - I hope both X-Ecutioners and LP continue to make music in honor of him. Quote
Astat Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 I gave Built From Scratch a spin earlier in his honor. R.I.P. Quote
DecanoLP Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Wow, that's sad =( Rest In Peace, awesome guy Quote
immortalsoul Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 That's sad! R.I.P.! The X-Ecutioners are one of the few hip-hop groups that I really like. Especially their collabo with Mike Patton was insane! Quote
SergSlim Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 All I found is this: The source refused to give details of his illness or injury, or even the cause of Roc Raida’s death, but did state that previous reports of an injury during karate class or a car accident were inaccurate. Quote
