Projektion Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 I'm liking TTM a bit better than he other songs, and it's giving me a little bit of hope, but I'm still not that optimistic. Quote
kiq fLP Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 ATS was leaked a week or two before the wordwide release. Unless that date was an official release, then I've never heard of it. WaK was a ATS "Promo Single" (in same manners of LGM for Living Things). The people who made the ATS pre order received an email with the download. Quote
Astat Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 by the way intro before OSC is exactly same as 2007 except gun shots Not even close. Synth samples are different, guitar part is different, underlying chord progression is different. Quote
leftshoe18 Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Post Meteora era: QWERTY, No More Sorrow, Wretches?, Lies Greed Misery?, Wastelands?, Talking To Myself I remember hearing a live version of Given Up before the studio version as well. Quote
martinez Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 (edited) I remember hearing a live version of Given Up before the studio version as well. They premering No More Sorrow and Given Up on the same show. Edited May 7, 2017 by martinez Quote
castro78 Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Better than the other 3 crappy songs, but not great. I guess I should wait for the actual recording to be released, but my expectations are officially at rock bottom. Quote
Astat Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 I think this song sounds a bit more like what the average person would probably expect from the "Linkin Park goes pop" description. Probably would have been a more "safe" choice for a first single, but that might have led to a similar situation to MInutes to Midnight, where What I've Done didn't really give people a good indication of what the album sounded like. hahninator Posted May 7, 2017 Author Posted May 7, 2017 I agree that this single would have been received much better. Where is the track by track review? It appears no one has reviewed the album in full yet. Quote
SerioDrew Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 pretty good, cant wait for the studio version, hope intrumentally its close to the live one Quote
RhinestonePT Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 It sounds good live. Probably my favorite from all the songs we got from the new album Quote
lpplus Posted May 11, 2017 Posted May 11, 2017 Here it is opening the show. Awesome AUD shot. video/audio quality is great. great zoom in & out. and looks like he recorded the whole show. can someone talk to him to share the original files?! Quote
JZLP-Benningstrong Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 Weakest opener in their entire career that's a song that belongs to the middle section. Quote
Justin Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 It's a great song, but I wouldn't have that as an opener. I look for the opener to be really high energy like OSC or something. TTM is better in the middle as a breather. Quote
Broman Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 Seems fine as an opener. That crowd definitely enjoyed it Quote
Stranger Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 Seems fine as an opener. That crowd definitely enjoyed it +1 Quote
Justin Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 Seems fine as an opener. That crowd definitely enjoyed it Well that's what matters. I certainly can't say I would be disappointed in person. They could open with In Between and I would still love it just because I was seeing LP live LOL Quote
linkin_boss Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Well that's what matters. I certainly can't say I would be disappointed in person. They could open with In Between and I would still love it just because I was seeing LP live LOL TTM isn't a great opener, but between the excitement of the crowd and the fact I saw it open for the first time I got really pumped up. In my case, it was mostly because as they opened with it I inmediately thought about how many setlist changes they would introduce in comparison to Argentina. However, after 7 years without having a show they could have opened with Heavy and still would have got a positive reaction from the crowd. Quote
