All guesses by us lead to the Xero eBay thing being fake. It's been a decade since that happened, we'd have heard something. Maybe it was real and someone affiliated with the band bought it. Who knows. I don't think it was legit.

TOTP 2003 is very unlikely at this point as the person with it has disappeared for years now. Smokeout indeed has very bad audio and would have to be remastered/remixed for sure. No way is that audio any good to release. Not basing this on any facts or anything, but I bet Smokeout gets released in some form by a fansite (hopefully us) in the next 5~ years.

Does anyone have the contacts for these fansites? The people that run them? (@LinkinParkArg) - ARGENTINA (@LinkinParkCN) - CHINA (@lp_indonesia) - INDONESIA (@LinkinPark_PH) - PHILIPPINES

Smokeout 2003, TOTP 2003 proshot, both of which Astat mentioned. We could crowdfund a Dragon Festival 2001 show release, but all of those prices are WAY too much for that stuff. Way more than we've ever paid for anything before, seriously. And we've released a LOT of stuff (check the wiki page), so you know it's expensive as hell. Anything manageable (can't give a specific monetary amount here, but PM me if you need to) has been bought by our staff or can be obtained by us. Phoenix 2003 is a good example of that, Camden 2004, Roxy 2000, Docklands 2001, MFR 2005, and the list goes on and on and on. There is indeed a list of stuff by our staff that is too expensive for us to buy and that is ridiculously overpriced for the LP community to even organize a crowdfund campaign to purchase. This would be the only footage I'd try that for, honestly. I'm in discussions with Ostrick right now, I'll let you know how it goes in June. And then there's a list of stuff we have already obtained for future release, a list of stuff we are working on obtaining now for future release, and a list of stuff we are going to continue to work towards getting someday. We can't give away all of our secrets like which shows or anything, or what we have in the "vault" (other than everything IS going to be released 100%, we have zero reason to ever "sit" on anything for a long time, seriously). There is a show I am working on releasing in June or July that is NOT a proshot show. Nor is it any Xero/Hybrid Theory footage, but it is something I think is cool. We always want to release as many shows as possible, for free. That's the goal.

You may have seen our older posts about Marc Ostrick, who filmed Hybrid Theory (pre-Linkin Park) rehearsing for 2.5+ hours in Los Angeles. We assumed this performance/rehearsal always came in 1999. The performance date is now confirmed to have been on February 24, 2000. After a little more research, we found where the band rehearsed in 2000. They were writing in Mike's apartment in LA and rehearsing at a spot between Hollywood & Vine and Hollywood & Ivar. Scott Koziol is on bass in this performance, and 2000 now makes more sense as he toured with them that year all the way up until October. In the videos posted by Marc, we can see a version of Slip that has a different arrangement than the one on the LPU 11 CD as well as versions of Esaul (A Place For My Head demo) and Rhinestone (Forgotten demo). Unfortunately, the full performance still remains unreleased as he wants $10,000+ for it and we've been unable to come up with a successful plan to get the footage or even get a full "set" of what they played, which would have to be done by an LP fan as Marc doesn't know the songs. We added this performance to our 2000 & Earlier page as it was a filmed rehearsal.

It's live! $20,000 raised in ONE day! https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/julien-k-ca-noir-ch-2-nightlife-in-neon--3#/ Great perks here and the album songs sound really good.

http://lplive.net/shows/thesnax Also the SNAX album release party will be in Westwood LA This coming Thur. 18th of May. For more info contact the SNAX at TSNAX@aol.com Do we know which year this was? May 2000 maybe? Where exactly is this info from?

Now that's an extremely unique piece of information. Very funny to think about.

Thanks for your help. I understand about not releasing it, it happens. Give it 3-4 years and post it then, which should be fine. This stuff is just time-sensitive. No one at the label or management gives a fuck about us posting Reanimation demos in 2012, because it's 10 years later. Come 2020, this Recharged stuff will be at the back of everyone's minds and you can just slip the remix out.

From Astat on Facebook: Left side: Out of Reach Sleepwalking Hands & Knees (Rest is pretty much impossible to read) Right side: Staring Back Lost My Horizon (Absolutely NOT "Lost At Horizon") ? Fire Escape (Blank) ? (Something along the lines of "Can We Go Back In the Future," although I don't think that's exactly right) Rival I Can't Outrun Locked Outside Heavy

They made sure to censor out the song titles in the LP account post but not in this one? Ha.

I think an accident. Otherwise he'd leave it up.

We are putting it in the wiki under FVT. On the year pages it was too confusing to have 3 Anaheim shows, 2 of them canceled. It was hard to explain that there were 2 different routings that were changed. On the year page it had like close to 40 shows for that tour, 13+ canceled. Too much. The wiki page for the tour will explain it all. -
We're adding a few pictures from each Fort Minor show to our show pages. If you saw an FM show in 2015 and have anything you'd like to contribute, email us at pics(at)lplive(dot)net, leave a reply here, or even respond with it on social media. 2015.08.26 Copenhagen, Denmark 2015.09.02 Berlin, Germany 2015.09.05 Düsseldorf, Germany (Rock im Sektor) 2015.09.08 London, England Setlists, venue pictures, performance pictures, anything like that. An example of what the show page will look like when finished can be seen here. Thanks!

I agree with your statement but our Facebook followers have actually gone up more in the past 6-12 months than they have in years. Our social media is doing great.

The album as a whole was underwhelming. The rock sound was good in the beginning and I still enjoy Keys, AFN, GATS, Rebellion, ALITS. Five quality tracks. Tossing in UIG and the interludes took away from it and the band didn't deliver that great start-to-finish product like they're capable of doing. For me, THP and LT are a bit subpar with their previous efforts. With MTM and ATS they delivered excellent back-to-back albums that were creative and stand the test of time. The last two I feel don't do that. And I guess a few of the other smaller things... the North American Tour getting cancelled and no mention of it ever again by the band to make it up when they had a significant portion of 2015 off AND Chester announces an STP tour directly after it...ouch. Lack of multiple sets on this tour probably took some interest away from the band by the online fans. I don't know how accurate it is to say that the dynamic is shifting to just social media from forums. We can easily get many viewers here per article we post, or way more if it's huge news.

With the release of each album, there are obvious highlights and peaks of interest such as the first single coming out, a tour announcement, the first show of the tour, an album leak, etc. On the flip side, when the band is in the studio writing an album, not much is going on with the online fanbase. We recently ran across some statistics from the past few years for the website. While our social media numbers have steadily increased since 2009, we noticed something peculiar about 2015. 2009: 35,243 Posts | 5,660,678 Views | New Registrations 616 (+ 732 from 2008) 2010: 71,485 Posts | 9,259,857 Views | New Registrations 873 2011: 30,148 Posts | 3,280,684 Views | New Registrations 323 2012: 26,253 Posts | 2,685,574 Views | New Registrations 694 2013: 28,278 Posts | 2,605,300 Views | New Registrations 528 2014: 32,779 Posts | 1,722,832 Views | New Registrations 852 2015: 18,976 Posts | 737,579 Views | New Registrations 433 Just glancing at the numbers, you'll immediately see one REALLY big year (2010) and another higher-than-normal year (2009). 2010's explanation is that it was the first studio album since 2007, and a highly anticipated album after the monstrous MTM world tour + New Divide release. Every single piece of news from the ATS era attracted quite a bit of attention. With 2009, the Summer Tour, New Divide, and the release of She Couldn't all brought a lot of visits to the site. 2012 and 2013 remained about the same during the Living Things album and world tour, even with Linkin Park taking MOST of the year off in 2013. Stone Temple Pilots ended up touring in fall 2013, but we can't count too much of that since the overall interest in the STP project was low amongst LP fans. 2014 was surprisingly lower than 2013, even with a full world tour starting and a release of The Hunting Party. Carnivores Tour was the biggest tour in years for Linkin Park but the year brought the lowest amount of visitors to our website in 6+ years. 2015 was even worse, bringing less than half of 2014. Linkin Park even played more shows in 2015 than 2013, a year that saw almost 2,000,000 MORE views to the site. And the Fort Minor comeback was also in 2015. So what could be the reason? Why the lack of interest? Obviously LPLive isn't the only place to get news about Linkin Park, but our site trends and visitor numbers tend to reflect the overall interest in the band by the online fanbase at the time. We don't have an answer for anyone here, we're just opening a discussion. For example, the band not rotating setlists on the world tour for The Hunting Party couldn't be a reason for people not visiting LPLive. Was the album less interesting to you as a fan than Living Things? Was it the band not playing much of THP live? Was it the world tour not visiting several large regions of the world? Or did the canceled tour play a part? Or was it none of these things? What do you think?

That's definitely real, it's for sure a studio version. Are there now two versions going around? When I started this thread I guess I was reporting on the radio version (the 2:47 of the 3:03 I ripped) and it seems like there is some other version going around with the longer intro/outro? I would assume they're releasing it as a single soon due to the artwork and song both leaking.
-
That's absolutely terrible. It has to be a mistake but it seems like it's too late to fix it now, even if we give the band a heads up. Wouldn't even consider buying a vinyl that's censored.

RTR is censored?

It was taken down before I even got the chance to post on Facebook, haha. It's out there, though. See if you can find it. NEW verse two lyrics by Mike: Sleepless nights have paved my way And this road is finally ending I've killed for just the chance to be in this place where now I'm standing The fear is creeping up behind on this curved (?) image I'm projecting I can't find order in my mind with this noise inside so deafening It's only one more day Lyrics from the live version: Verse one: Remember we were staring up to those peaks on the horizon I promised I would never stop it In your name I would climb them There's nothing I have wanted more The only one I've been waiting for So hold your breath and close your eyes The end is unknown but still we rise Chorus: Counting down, to the light Through the night, just waiting for tomorrow Almost there, almost time All my life Just waiting It's only one more day, it's only one more day It's only one more day, it's only one more day Waiting for tomorrow Waiting for tomorrow Counting down, to the light Through the night, just waiting for tomorrow Almost there, almost time All my life Just waiting for tomorrow Counting down, to the light Through the night, just waiting for tomorrow Almost there, almost time All my life Just waiting for tomorrow

It appears that the (partial?) studio version of Waiting For Tomorrow, by Martin Garrix and featuring Mike, has leaked online. The track title shows it as "Martin Garrix and Pierce Fulton featuring Mike Shinoda", with no mention of Chester as fans originally thought. Martin's new album has yet to be announced, so the leak comes as a surprise since we there is no information on even a tracklisting or a release date. You can listen to it here. Thoughts? EDIT: Taken down IMMEDIATELY! Links are out there, you can find it. 6/13/17 EDIT: Garrix says the song will be released soon.
