hahninator replied to LPUemo360's topic in Everything Linkin Park
That's been up there for well over a year and a half. It's registered yeah but I will put $10 down right now that says it's not on there. -

I did too but Mike at an album prelistening event said it was an MTM demo that was later finished up. Weird. -

Highly doubt Pictureboard will make it. Yeah that's true, they did say that they aren't demos of known songs (like LPU9). LPU9 I guess would be demos of stuff we've heard (with an argue for ATL being the only one not like that). I guess LPUX is stuff we've never heard. Pretend To Be is on it as far as I know. The demos will cover all albums - Hybrid Theory, Meteora, MTM and ATS. I wonder what they have left from MTM (lol). There's one that is pre-HT (maybe Xero?). Along with everyone else, I am praying for a full Meteora unreleased track. -
Woot for all 6 members. @ not getting all 6 last year for my M&G. Hope I get one on the USA tour.

Edited the post. I sent him a question and asked him about his use of samples on ATS and how he expanded his use of things to make samples for the album.

Actually, not to be an ass or anything, but I'm not really sure they're increasing it yet. I'll wait until I see it. Fallout, The Requiem/The Radiance and Jornada Del Muerto I'm sure are counted as 3 of those (back down to 21), and those could easily fit into the time frame of an extended 'Bleed It Out', which we're not even sure if they're doing anymore. The longest setlist I've seen them do I believe is the Set B / "Set D" on Projekt Revolution 2007. I'm going off the top of my head here, but check this show: http://lplive.net/shows/20070903.php That is 21 full songs, then Wake. Intros/outros are scattered throughout. Total length was about 97 minutes. I'll put my bet down right now that LP doesn't play over 97 minutes on the world tour and won't play over 21 full songs (no interludes or anything). 24 sounds perfect because I'm sure he means that includes the interludes from ATS in there, and that should be 20-21 songs, which is really good for LP. I just hope this means they leave 1-2 spots open in the setlist (hopefully they rotate too) for an older song they rarely play. 20-21 songs is great and that's what I'd expect at a show, so this is great that Chester is confirming it. 2009 seemed a bit short to be because of the Dead By Sunrise songs; glad to see LP is lengthening it out again. I doubt they'll ever really do more than 100 minutes live unless they play 95 minutes, talk a lot and do interludes, which will push it over 100.

We definitely cannot promise them by Europe but we can certainly try. We want to take our time and make sure these are done well. There's another Euro tour next year as well. I'll keep you updated. We are not aiming for gloomy looks/colors...we want them to be a solid color with a design but nothing like black or dark grey or anything.
-
Yeah I can get these done before Europe if Overkill can get us a design this week. No problem. Chester already confirmed there's another European tour next summer and another USA tour after that, I assume Projekt Revolution.

Wow that's crazy he took it down lol

We'll go through several designs for the LPLive shirt. Hell, we can even have a contest for the designs. Why not? Let's do it, lol. Sotrix has hosted LPLive $ free since Christmas 2005 when the project first began.

Forum members and site visitors, please head over to this thread: http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=5726 ...for discussion on shirts for LPLive. I've created a poll and hope to get some good discussion going. Thanks!

Depending on the design and the price, we are looking to see how many people would like to buy an LPLive t-shirt. Prices would be between $5-10 a shirt + shipping. Good quality, good design. Pricing would be for the shirt ONLY + shipping. Legally we can't earn any money on these so this is as non-profit as it gets. We just ordered some staff shirts but we want to do ones for the actual members of the site now. The staff ones look BADASS; we're currently designing ones for the general site members. We can't do a presale and get funds then because something could happen to us like the Nine Inch Nails video project "This One Is On Us"...their Paypal account was frozen for some stupid reason because of this, lol. The questions I have for you are: -Would you buy a shirt? -Would you buy anything else like a long sleeved shirt, a tour poster or a hoodie? -Would you support $1 added to every item sold for Sotrix (LPLive host)? I have to do a poll like this first before I order them so I know how many to get. If I order 100 and only 50 people want one, I'll have 50 LPLive shirts sitting around, LOL. So this is to see how many people want them Hopefully some good discussion comes out of this! Thanks! We also need to give a huge shout out to our user Overkill for designing the shirts and posters. His work is just awesome! The design of the shirts will be done by Overkill as well!!!!!!

Today is one of my good friend's 22nd birthday...Fabio! Fabio goes by 'Nameless' on LPLive and was a mod here for a pretty good length of time. He runs linkinpark.it and does a damn good job at it. Fabio does a LOT of work for the community, and that's even evident by how many people have nominated him in our Gift-away thread. Thanks for everything you do Fabio! Happy Birthday man! Hope you enjoy your special day. You can see Fabio here (dead center) with LPL staff SpikeMinoda (left) and Stefano (right). They're sporting the ever classy LPU 8 MMM...Cookies t-shirts!

Highly doubt it. He's always at rehearsals lol. Projekt Revolution 2007, Winter 2008, Summer 2008, Summer 2009, 2010 promo, 2010 World Tour.

How do the Portugal proshots for LP work? Are those shown live?
-
If I had to guess for the DSP, I'd say we'll get it at the same time as the first South American one.

The Julien-K European Tour is over, but the show pages have just been finished up. View them at the bottom of this page. Major props to [AndOne] for the nice work on them and thanks to BlackChester (the official tour photographer!) for his great photos. On September 4th in Berlin, Lee Adams (aka Wilderness) from LPLive got to play guitar during soundcheck on "Technical Difficulties" with the band. Check out the video from Tiefdruck Musik's (Julien-K's European record label) Daniel Heerdman. Also, here's a video from September 2nd from Schwäbisch Hall, Germany of a brand new song "Cruel Daze Of Summer". Thanks to "Death To Anal Productions" for the video! This is the most extensive tour coverage we have ever had on LPLive. From setlist pictures to show pictures to immediate show reporting, etc...the Julien-K Euro Tour beats them all. Hopefully a Linkin Park tour could be done as nicely as this one someday! Anyway, enjoy!

Yes. for them to change the setlist it's a huge fucking hassle lol, huge

Chester Bennington vs. Ian Watkins?
hahninator replied to LPjahova808's topic in Everything Linkin Park
How the fuck is it disrespectful when the idea for DBS to play in the LP encore came from Mike Shinoda? -
My December was recorded in Nashville. LP worked on parts of songs at other studios, like in the ATS booklet it says the studio names of where they worked in Prague and Berlin. I don't think that happens very often though (maybe for ATS only). lol @ We Made It in Taipei They recorded all these Meteora clips in the back of the bus while touring in 2001/2002, so heck, the SIB intro could've been written anywhere on the road

Where are the other South American dates? And he said New Zealand too.

C&C last year was TERRIBLE. Worst opening band I have ever seen. That shit in Stuttgart was unbearable. I was really close in the pit for FFAF but during C&C I had to leave and go walk around the venue. I sat and ate a bratwurst, explored the place, talked to random people, chatted with the LPU M&G folks. I was SO bored. In Grafen I sat down for them and boo'd them endlessly. They were terrible, lol. FFAF in Graz played a nasty, long set. 60 minutes for them to open and they were GREAT. I wish I would have taped them. I loved that performance. I only caught the last two songs in Zurich. Stuttgart and Grafen they had the crowds rocking. Especially Grafen, they had hands up everywhere, trying to yell in German to the crowd. It was a fucking blast. They blew C&C out of the water. I'd love to see them again. Hopefully the USA gets good opening bands instead of the emo stuff they've been getting. My Chemical Romance, Coheed And Cambria, Chiodos, etc. How about Shinedown, Three Days Grace, Papa Roach or something badass like that?

Fact of the matter is, the news is there. I'll take a look at Got News? and see if I need to move over anything else. I apologized for the problems lately because I know the staff (including me) is really busy. I wasn't starting anything with LPA. I have no problems with them right now. If you saw the thread, you'll see I made an innocent comment saying multiple LP fansites got the Hot Topic email and was immediately attacked by their staff.

Contrary to what I posted this morning.... "A Thousand Suns" takes the #1 spot on the charts 1 - LINKIN PARK, WARNER BROS., 253,685, "A THOUSAND SUNS" 2 - TREY SONGZ, ATLANTIC, 244,103, "PASSION PAIN & PLEASURE" Source here. Congratulations to Linkin Park for another #1 debut!
