  1. ^ That looks rather unfinished.
  2. Good to see LPLive continuing it's tradition of reading far too much into things
  3. It be Iridescent. Unless Joe be foolin' with us, of course.
  4. Ideal Europe Set The Requiem/Foreword Don’t Stay Wretches and Kings Papercut Given Up Lying From You Burning in the Skies No More Sorrow Jornada del Muerto Waiting for the End Blackout Numb Leave Out all the Rest What I've Done Breaking the Habit Iridescent The Catalyst In the End Bleed It Out/A Place for My Head ========================== When They Come for Me Crawling New Divide Faint One Step Closer
  5. Well, actually, you must be better than Brad, if he keeps asking you to play Faint for him...
  6. Actually, on second thoughts- Mike > Chester > Brad > Dave > Joe > Rob > Pez
  7. That sig actually made my day. "Try ketchup motherfucker..." Classic.
  8. I reckon we'll get new sets, but I doubt there'll be significant differences from the US ones. Aside from incorporating Burning in the Skies more, and maybe 1 or 2 different old songs.
  9. No he didn't. What really annoys me is when people think Hurt was written by Johnny Cash... and then refuse to believe it when I tell them it wasn't.
  10. Too far. The LP version is awesome, but you can't beat NIN at NIN.
  11. Yeah, but that song's kinda limited. It could only be played on a Friday... Much as I think it's unlikely, I would love it for them to play And One again. That song kicks so much ass live.
  12. I saw in an interview with Chester (don't know where it was), that said they still DO write heavy music. They'd written really heavy songs for both MTM and ATS (Qwerty being a case in point). They just felt for whatever reason that the more melodic music they wrote was stronger. Maybe, this time around they'll write some heavy songs they think are excellent and put them on the album. I love their downbeat stuff, but they still have the potential to write heavy music.
  13. I've probably mentioned this before on other threads, but I get the feeling A Thousand Suns will be revered far more in ten years time that it is now- much like Radiohead's Kid A, or Metallica's Black Album. At the time, it was like, "WTF are they doing?", but both album's quality and originality stood the test of time, much like I think (and hope) ATS will.
  14. Ah, the sweet and innocent Rick Rubins... In all seriousness, I'd like a heavier album this time around. I feel like a nice heavy LP album to blow the haters away...
  15. I doubt they'd drop Numb, it's too popular. They may well bring back some older songs in summer- particularly for more heavy-oriented festivals like Download in the UK. I'd say songs most likely to be played again more frequently are- A Place for My Head Somewhere I Belong From the Inside But I doubt there will be significant setlist change. Burning in the Skies will probably become a staple now it's been properly released.
  16. London O2 Arena, 29th February 2008. My first ever gig... the first of many!
  17. I chose Issho Ni. I love the ambience and simplicity of it, it's really great chill music to put on when you're stressed.
  18. +1 Collaborating with that waste of oxygen who calls himself an artist was the biggest mistake LP ever made. Just the other day my mate told me his favourite song was Numb by Jay Z
  19. This will piss Metallica off no end...
  20. I've signed up! And for people questioning the point of this, really singles have never been more important to artists- people just don't buy albums any more, so they need singles to be promoted as much as possible to boost sales. Plus, as leftshoe said, if it is successful, it increases the band's popularity which in turn increases the band's longevity.
  21. I'm thinking US Projekt Revolution in that gap. It's the usual sort of time, and if they got some good supports it could be a really successful tour.
