  1. Oh yes. They could incorporate elements of mariachi, big beat, death metal and surf rock, among other disparate genres.
  2. Phoenix seems to be one of the most musically adventurous members of the band.
  3. If Blackout had heavy guitars, it would be just another heavy LP song, rather than the more groundbreaking song it is.
  4. The only songs on ATS that I feel could be improved with more guitars are When They Come for Me and Wretches and Kings (though they could have mixed the guitars on The Catalyst a bit louder.)
  5. A UK Date? If it could include on the main stage- Linkin Park Korn Deftones Hollywood Undead Innerpartysystem I'd be happy. Though none of the other bands bar IPS really sound at all like LP do now.
  6. +1. Whatever it sounds like, there'll be cosmic levels of bitching.
  7. Robot Boy. I'm starting a crusade against setlists without Iridescent in them
  8. By writing "does has skills", your whole argument sort of falls apart But anyway, this sounds interesting. Corey Taylor's going to be on this as well, so there are quite a few good vocalists all in all.
  9. Well, my two favourite songs in the election are gone In Pieces must die! And everyone stop saying "(Insert Song Name) needs to win", the whole point of this is that we VOTE.
  10. I meant in terms of music, not singing. Mike wrote most of the music for ATS, as opposed to MTM which was more of a group effort.
  11. Similar to ATS, but with more aggressive hip-hop songs a la WaK/WTCFM. I think the next album will be more a group effort, opposed to ATS (essentially Mike's album).
  12. I MUST GO. If there's anything in the world better than a free Linkin Park show in a 3000 capacity venue, I've yet to find it
  13. Just a request, annare, could you post the links to all the remaining setlists on each "end of round" post? It would save us time traipsing all the way back through the thread to find the setlists again.
  14. It really doesn't. Singing is far more difficult than screaming.
  15. A ) That is a completely ludicrous setlist. B ) IT'S TOO LATE.
  16. This has become extremely confusing. I'm just going to vote for Hawk and be done with it
  17. The definition of a chorus is a lyrical phrase that is repeated with the same melody. So no. And The Catalyst was edited for broadcast. If they try to edit WTCFM it will sound awful.
  18. That was the second round. I shall vote for In Pieces.
  19. Because Blackout has possibly the most radio unfriendly structure of any LP song, ever, and When They Come for Me doesn't have a chorus and is too long to be a single.
  20. QWERTY would have been horribly out of place on MTM. And Blackbirds isn't good enough... Across the Line and No Roads Left, they should have included.
