  1. The removal of Iridescent from the setlist has blunted the awesomeness of this somewhat.
  2. I'm pretty sure the band would have had no say in song selection. I'm surprised MTV put When They Come For Me over Crawling or One Step Closer.
  3. It seems the whole point of the thread has been completely undermined. Oh well.
  4. Win. Though "Jornada" only has one d
  5. I see what you mean- you kinda miss that big, anthemic rock thing that LP are so good at. I'd also liked more noticeable, harder guitars- When They Come for Me and Wretches and Kings could have sounded a lot more aggressive with more distorted guitars, and I think The Catalyst and Blackout could have used some heavy guitars in pars.
  6. 3. Nobody's Listening- gets annoying after a while. 2. Robot Boy- too boybandish, very repetitive. 1. Shadow of the Day- MASSIVELY overrated, dull until about 2 minutes in then and then overly repetitive from there.
  7. Quite simply, "I'll bitch-slap your soul".
  8. Minutes to Midnight because it's the least cohesive and lacks spark towards the end (though Little Things picks it up well.) Also, it has two of LP's most overrated songs in Shadow of the Day and What I've Done.
  9. Put Breaking the Habit in place of Shadow and that set is damn near perfect.
  10. I think it's because Foreword is the intro to an album with no interludes, whereas Empty Spaces is merely a tiny link in an album full of interludes. I've actually put Empty Spaces and When They Come for Me together on iTunes because Empty Spaces just sounds weird otherwise.
  11. I was going to choose In the End, but then decided that it doesn't represent the band's heavy side well enough.
  12. If you had to sum up the band's sound in one song, what would it be? I know it's gonna be difficult because of the diversity of their material, but we might as well try. Funnily enough, I'd say Papercut.
  13. I'm not complaining about the fact that Robot Boy isn't original- I'm complaining about the fact that of all the bands it could sound like, it's Take That I still like the song (I like ALL of A Thousand Suns), but the thread asked what our least favourite ATS song was and mine is Robot Boy.
  14. The problem with Robot Boy is that it sounds too much like Take That. There's just too many vocal melody tracks and it's very repetitive. Shame, 'cos I like both the piano riff and synth solo.
  15. +1 Severely doubt it though, as they're playing Download. Damn that festival for being when it is! Hopefully there'll be a UK Projekt Revolution next year. The Download website doesn't say "only UK show of 2011", so I'm optimistic about that
  16. The fact that A Thousand Suns pretty much defies genre means it can't be nominated for a Grammy. It's not really a rock album, not really a rap album and definitely not a pop album.
  17. In Between with Chester's vocals. And I heard somewhere that And One was recorded for the Hybrid Theory album, but then dropped. A pro-recorded And One could be epic...
  18. A.06 is gone? THIS IS WAR! Once again I vote for Pale. It's time has come.
  19. Papercut When They Come for Me Don't Stay The Little Things Give You Away Numb Iridescent
