QFT. Back to topic. Question: Is the show with the BIO + No Roads Left and APFMH released yet? If so, people that have heard it, is it good quality?

They changed their sound, but they still have their core there. HT and Meteora were both basically the same cd's, but were indeed awesome. LP tried and did start to branch out and try different things to not produce HT3, and we get MTM. Process continues and we get ATS. I think the next album will be more of a fusion of everything they've done/learned over the past 15 years. (Personally hoping that it sounds like ATL and the vocal songs from LPUX)

I have people ready to go, now we just have to figure out the details of getting there and getting back. Mark and other LPL people - we need to meet up! If I go, I'll definitely be wearing my LPL shirt, will prolly get my friends to wear my other one and my ATS album shirt

Lady Gaga, Bieber, Nicki Minaj and hip-hop is what's popular. I no longer listen to the radio anymore because the ones I get in clear are all the above mentioned and nothing else. I have heard Linkin Park only on rock-only stations - even ATS stuff. Basically look at it like this: Popular stuff, all those clubbers go out, hear those songs, and: LP stuff, you'd have a hard time doing the same. Wasn't it said in the interview about them working with Rick Rubin for album 5 that HT and Meteora were to get their name out there and lay the foundation, Minutes to Midnight was to start experimenting and discovering they can produce music different than the first two albums, and ATS was the first album after that transition, where they did what they wanted to do. Soft rock is Eagles, etc. LP will always be that melting pot of different elements of music.

Was watching Zombieland on one channel, it ended, flipped through, and SpikeTV had "Action!" (idk) and it said featuring TF3. Caught it right as they had LP playing Iridescent in Moscow. It was pretty awesome, but still, give me album version over it everyday

Searches through past thread for my theory on the 60+ near completion songs that have a sound similar to Across the Line, What We Don't Know, and Pretend to Be, but they got lost on the hard drive January 2010 and ATS was created January to August I really think that this is along the lines of what is possibly happening.

I'm holding onto my "Late 2011" hopes. Last year, the first hints at ATS were in June, and the album came out 3 months later in September. I think there might be a November/December release possible. If not then, May 2012 or October 2012. It can't be in September though, especially not the day Julien-K's album releases. Otherwise, I may die from awesomeness.

But I see your point where the movies may've ruined the original story, however, they're saying that the third one is supposed to be closer to the first movie (source: read from sites run by original fanboys, etc). I'm not knocking it just yet. Also - yeah Iridescent may be referred to as "The Transformers 3 Song", but it's better than: The Catalyst - that Indian festival video WFTE - The blue video with the badger Burning In The Skies - the ........??wtf? video Those have been responses from my friends when referring to the videos, so this tie-in may not be all that bad. Plus, isn't the song supposed to be partially worked into the score of the movie? I'm interested to see how that turns out if they are doing that.

QFT Parts of this weekend were.......frustrating. Listened to the Transformers mix on my phone, my mood changed so fast I could literally feel the anger, etc, leave my body. Great song, either version (had mix on my phone to show to my friend). I absolutely love this song and am so glad it's in the movie. Got to watch the video, so excited that Iridescent may be used as a part of the score for the film as well
