  1. You need 6 or more participants for an orgy, just saying
  2. I see a new album as possible. If you look at things, they could possibly throw together an album with unused songs that simply need refining. Look at Across the Line, Pretend to Be, and What We Don't Know. They all have a similar sound to them that I don't see on the MTM or ATS albums. There's a possibility that there's an unknown stage in LP's sound that we don't fully know about. So, if they use the foundation of songs from that mini-era, LP will have another album with a different overall kind of sound. Also, Chester said late 2009 that they had so many songs that were almost finished, and they were picking their favorite ones and refining them. All those songs probably came before the "concept record, wait, let's do it a little different than a concept record" set of songs that became ATS. If there are these songs that have a good foundation to start from, and with the fact that they could possibly record/edit on the road (weren't some songs for Meteora recorded/finished on the road?), then they could conceivably put out another record in 2011. I absolutely loved ATS, but I'm ready for a traditional album with about 12 songs that stand on their own. /cent cent
  3. The 32 people
  4. I know this is a little bit nit-picky, but it just has been annoying me soooo much >.< July 18th 2008 - Burgettstown - can you switch it to Pittsburgh? It's in the "greater Pittsburgh area" and everyone from the area refer to the Post Gazette Pavillion as in Pittsburgh. It also says Pittsburgh on the 2008 Projekt Revolution sticker 18.07.2008 Burgettstown, PA Post-Gazette Pavilion Thank you guys
  5. BAN HAMMER BAN HAMMER BAN HAMMER!!!
  6. And that is why I love LP (Mike's face at the end)
  7. Dude, I blasted that CD, opened by ATL, everywhere I went for about 2 months... The only thing I could say needed improvement was LOATR - replace one of the verses with the demo one
  8. For some of the people here, it's like they're orphans, and you're telling them "oh, there's always next year" because nobody adopts them at Christmastime  /horrible person thought However, you are exactly right
  9. WIN thank you ree_ree for the info, and nice job getting Contributors status I think the cd sounds like it will be cool. It's new LP material.... I personally would've loved for B-Sides, but that was never really confirmed, oh well. Dealt with it, moved on. However, I would've LOVED for the songs to be like LPU9 where they were demos of released songs, because I remember leftshoe18 made a remix album "Rebirth" that basically combined those into their right spots in the finished songs, and it was FUCKING EPIC. But with the instrumentals, I bet some people here could put their own vocals over, etc....
  10. wait, the "LPUX site is launching TODAY" was the news?
  11. Is there anyway for someone to put "MrCinder" on the poster? That would be epic xP And Congrats on the three sites getting LP recognition!! It's really cool to see how "involved" we are with the tour (setlist changes), as well as seeing how much LP does for their fans. They could've taken the flag and just threw it in a room, etc, but instead they displayed in on stage for everyone to see. They went through OUR boards, saw what we were saying about the setlists, and not only did they change it up, they freaking dedicated APFMH specifically to us!
  12. Just need a plane ticket, and ear plugs to block out Katy Perry.....
  13. I know he had it for Empty Spaces, which actually was really cool - the lights were all off, and it made it seem like the voices on the track were searching the crowd for someone. As far as on the Catalyst, why DOESN'T he have a flashlight?
  14. Haven't they been at about 9 pm?
  15. I'm guessing roughly about 12 minutes it's 8:48 pm right now
  16. fixed it Unless you go multiple times within, oh say a week or 2, not rotating the setlists shouldn't present a problem. Now, if they kept the same over the years and only put in 4 more songs with each album, then complain. Yes, I'd love to see a rotating setlist, but it's no grounds for going and attacking other LPL fans.
  17. idk if I missed it, but no mention of the fact that WID didn't close and BIO did? I remember a lot of people complaining about that little fact recently. WID closer = Everyone pissed WID not closer = Nobody notices bc they're pissed about something else.
  18. Thank you so much LPxDC!!!! Thank you and the rest of the LPL staff for doing things like this for all of us And thank you guys, I wouldn't have been open and posted something personal like that if you guys weren't fully awesome people
  19. Chester and Mike were featured in an interview with Noisecreep.... "A Day in the Life" by Jon Wiederhorn. There's video, and it has some cool pictures of the two as well. A snippet of it talks about their MFR track"Not Alone": "We had actually done a demo of that song for 'Minutes to Midnight' and just decided it wasn't as moving as 'Leave Out All the Rest,'" explained Shinoda. "'Leave Out All the Rest' had better lyrics at the time, but it was too similar. And we didn't want two songs like that on the record. And then when the opportunity came up to readdress it and include it on an album to benefit Haiti, we readdressed the lyrics with Haiti in mind and it really created a more impassioned lyrical approach. We were so moved by the things we were seeing on TV and we tried to write about that. We had something in mind. We were seeing that and we had something we wanted to say to those people so we ended up putting that in the song. And the lyrics to that ended up being 10 times better than the song." Read the full article here. Enjoy!
  20. I think the song I most relate to, partially due to the fact it was "released" a good while beforehand and was available to me for more life experiences than just this past year, is Let Down. "Oh the words you wouldn't say And the games you played With my unfoolish heart Oh I should have known this from the start" I always seemed/seem to find myself in a position of thinking something between me and someone is there, and soon find I was wrong. I would want so badly to hear them say what I wanted, but they never would, and I'd find myself looking back afterwards and seeing all the little things that were clear signs that it was going to result in the way it had, and it was obvious afterwards. "Ohh the winter and spring Going in hand in hand Just like my love and pain How the thought of you cuts deep within the vein Oh this brand new skin stretched across scarred terrain" Winter and Spring. Cold and Warmth. I would let myself get so attached to someone, that the mere thought of them was overwhelming - heart would beat so heavy it felt like it was coming out of my chest, etc, but it felt great. The same person would then be able to create a similar but opposite reaction after things went wrong. The heart would still beat as heavy, but the feeling of warmth was replaced with a cold void. And, after I "got over her" I still get almost the same way, even today, years later, showing that I still have scars I hide beneath my skin. "I don't want to be let down I don't want to live my life again Don't want to be led down the same old road So I don't want to be let down I don't want to live my lies again Don't want to be lead down the same old road" It seems I'm in a constant circle of getting my hopes up, and having them torn away like so many times in my past, and I don't want to go through this cycle again. I don't want to have my mind and heart to be led down the same path they've been led down before, leading to being let down yet again. I don't want to relive the feelings I had, only to find out they mean nothing. "Ohhhh..." In the acoustic/live version, Chester's vocals during this part always have a great effect on me. I just collapse almost, somewhat relaxed, but also consumed by thought on the situation. As I write this, I've realized I'm in the possibly the same position, trying to find out if the feelings I have are reciprocal, but I'm literally "paralyzed with fear". I'm too afraid to just take the chance because of my past.
  21. I think LP's facebook page just posted this same story using the same video
  22. Sorry, meant no sarcasm at all. The birthday thing makes me clap like an idiot out of happiness every time I hear it, the Pittsburgh thing is awesome for my hometown, and the Oklahoma City one is just something else to me, some of the things he says gives me chills a little bit.
  23. Such as Chester saying "Happy Birthday man" in a concert on my birthday? (Granted I wasn't there, but got the concert from here xD ) Or from the Pittsburgh concert - "I heard fucking Pittsburgh knows how to fucking party! Am I right?" or "I want you guys to sing with me on this, imagine you're downtown, at the pub, watching the Pirates, and they're fucking losing, so you have nothing better to do than sing karaoke to cheer yourself up" - which incidentally started a "Here we go Steelers" chant that crosses over from his spiel at the end of Don't Stay to the beginning of In Pieces. Final example - Oklahoma City - Chaz was sick. Vocal quality wasn't good really at all in that concert. Still one of my favorites bc of the interaction between Chester and the crowd
  24. The guy was running away with other people in the "oh it's over let's beat everyone to the exit" run...
